After Dove completed her mission, she returned to the hideout in Terra Neverlandis where Stain was waiting for her. She walked up to him and knelt before him. 

Dove: My mission is complete master. Carver is dead.

Stain: Were there any complications? 

Dove: Only a minor one. The Storm Hawks interfered. I managed to get away.

Stain walked up to Dove without saying a word. Dove felt both anxiety and fear of his overwhelming presence. She feared that what she did was not good enough in his eyes. When Stain place his hand on her shoulder, Dove feels that anxiety and fear being washed away.

Stain: You did well Dove. Far exceeded my expectations. You've proven yourself time and time again that you hold strong conviction for our crusade. Now you've washed away any lingering doubt I had.

Upon hearing that, Dove felt an overwhelming feeling of pride as she rose up. She held back the tears in her eyes as she looked to her master.

Dove: T....Thank you Stain. That means the world to me. 

Stain: We have.....an invitation. 

Dove: From who?

Stain: They call themselves the Shadow Collective. They come with an offer that they say will be beneficial. 

Dove: Can we trust them?

Stain: I am unsure of their intentions. Maybe they mean well. Maybe not. But either way, we'll be ready. They await for us in Terra Atmosia. 

Upon saying that, Stain and Dove got on their Skimmers and rode to Terra Atmosia. Once they arrive, they meet in a secluded area where they see two members of the Shadow Collective: Tomura Shigaraki and Kurogiri.

Kurogiri: The Cyclonian Killers. We've been expecting you. 

Stain and Dove immediately recognized the garb they wore as that of Cyclonians. Sensing a trap, the Cyclonian Killers immediately reach for their weapons when Kurogiri stops them.

Kurogiri: Now now. We did not come here to fight. As I said before, we've come here to offer you an opportunity.

Stain: You two must either be very brave or very foolish to think that you could bargain with us! We do not deal with Cyclonians!

Kurogiri: It took quite a bit of convincing to Master Cyclonis to even allow this meeting to occur. You two have a high bounty on your heads.

Dove: Like we care what Cyclonis have to say!

As the meeting seems to be an impasse, Shigaraki intervenes.

Shigaraki: Listen here, from what I understand, you've killed more than your fair share of Sky Knights. That could be of great use to us. 

As Dove readies to attack, Stain stops her.

Stain: What are you after?

Shigaraki: I just want to kill All Might. I want to break down everything I don't like. All these little Sky Knights believing they can change anything make me sick. I want to.....destroy all that.....

Upon hearing that, the Cyclonian Killers felt great disgust at this. Not only did this spit in the face of their ideology, but it showed just how little regard Shigaraki had for human life.

Stain: I see....I was a fool to even entertain the idea of joining the likes of you! You Cyclonians are all the same. You are everything I despise! What meaning is there in killing without conviction? 

Kurogiri: I suggest you think this through. 

Stain: Dove. 

Stain nods to Dove as she charges at Kurogiri, pinning him to the ground. Before Shigaraki could react, Stain pins down Shigaraki while cutting into his shoulder with a knife and holding another to his neck.

Stain: No matter what you want to accomplish, it is necessary to have conviction and desire. Those without it and those who are weak shall be weeded out. It is only natural. That is why you will die, Cyclonian!

Kurogiri attempts to assist Shigaraki, but Dove holds her wristblades to Kurogiri's neck. 

Stain: The Cyclonian Empire shall be purged! The False Sky Knights shall be purged! The unworthy shall be purged!

Shigaraki: Is that so? You talk too much......

Shigaraki then grabs the blade next to his throat and the blade begins decaying before Stain's eyes. Concerned, Stain leaps a short distance away from Shigaraki. 

Shigaraki: Conviction? I don't have anything grand like that. If I do, it would have to be for my goal. I want to destroy this society, where trash like All Might is worshiped!

Stain turns his attention to Dove. Without hesitation, she quickly rushes to his side. As Stain and Shigaraki lock eyes, Kurogiri gets up. 

Stain: We will let you two live. Run back you master and tell her that we will come for her. Her days are numbered. When her Empire falls in flames around her, death will follow. 

Stain and Dove soon exit the area. As they do, Shigaraki and Kurogiri converse about the encounter with the Cyclonian Killers.

Kurogiri: It seems negotiation is out of the question. 

Shigaraki: Those two......I look forward to watching them suffer......I'll see to it that they'll die screaming! Both Stain and that little bitch running with him. Assemble the Nomu......

Kurogiri: I shall inform Doctor Skaal immediately. 

Meanwhile on their way back to Terra Neverlandis, Dove speaks with Stain about their encounter with the Shadow Collective. 

Dove: Why let them live? We could've killed them right then and there! 

Stain: We could have, but it serves us better if they deliver a message to her. This will let her know that we can't be bought! That we will not stop until all Cyclonians are purged from Atmos! 

As Stain reaffirms his mission, Dove was ready to fight by his side and if necessary, die for him. This encounter showed her that the Cyclonians were truly afraid of the Cyclonian Killers. And she would thrive on that fear that her and Stain instilled on them.
