After their encounter with the Shadow Collective, Stain and Dove returned to their hideout on Terra Neverlandis to plot their next move.

Stain: We will move on Terra Musutafu to cleanse the Terra of the False Sky Knights that infest it. Like Endeavor.....

Dove heard something familiar in the way Stain spoke. She saw herself in him. This made her curious.

Dove: Endeavor....I know of him.

Stain: He is the antithesis of what a Sky Knight should be! He is no better than the Cyclonians!

The way Stain spoke with hatred in his voice piqued Dove's mind.

Dove: What.....what did he do to you?

Upon hearing that question, Stain hesitated. He took note of his apprentice's curiosity.

Stain: A long time ago, I had a wife. The great love of my life. Her name.....her name was Fuyumi. She was the daughter of Enji Todoroki. The daughter of.....Endeavor.

Dove could hear the calm rage in his voice. He could see the fire in his eyes that thirsted for vengeance. She felt the same way the Dark Ace. She was all too familiar with the desire and lust for revenge. 

Dove: What happened to her?

Stain: I lived in Terra Musutafu with Fuyumi. Her father never approved of our relationship. But we married despite this. But one day, Cyclonians attacked our Terra. During the attack.....

Stain's memory then fell back on the fateful day. Before he was Stain, he was Chizome Akaguro. In the aftermath of the attack, Chizome ran to the home he shared with Fuyumi. He was horrified to see it in flames. He rushes inside to search for his wife.

Chizome: Fuyumi! FUYUMI! I'M HERE! WHERE ARE YOU?!

After a few agonizing of moments, Chizome found Fuyumi's body. He picked her up and moved her out of the house. As he got her out, Chizome tried to wake her up, but she was unresponsive. 

Chizome: Fuyumi? Fuyumi! Please.....don't leave me! Please......please.....

Chizome mourns for the most of his wife as he sees the Cyclonian warships flying away. In the present, Dove is saddened to hear of this tale. She knew exactly how it felt to lose the one she cares deeply all too well.

Stain: It was only after the attack did I learn the truth. One of Endeavor's Sky Knights was responsible for this! I searched all of Musutafu for the man responsible!

Dove: Did you ever find him?

Stain then recalls the day he found the Sky Knight responsible for helping the Cyclonians in the invasion of Musutafu. After a one sided fight, Chizome had the Sky Knight at his mercy.

Traitor Sky Knight: Please! Show some mercy!

Chizome: Mercy?! Mercy?! Like you showed my wife?! 

Traitor Sky Knight: The Cyclonians threatened to kill my family! I had to protect them!

Chizome: So you sacrifice the principles and duties as a Sky Knight for you own selfish desires?! 

The traitor's excuse made Chizome sick to his stomach. His wife was killed because of the Sky Knight's fear and cowardice.

Chizome: You are not worthy of the title of Sky Knight! Now you must pay the price for your crimes!

Chizome raised his sword to the Sky Knight. The traitor begged for his life, but Chizome showed none as he executed him. On that day, Stain was born.

Stain: On that day, I swore to wipe Atmos clean from both Cyclonians and False Sky Knights. Like you, I lost the ones I love to the Cyclonians. This is why we hunt them down. 

Stain's tragic tale brought sorrow to Dove. She knew exactly of the pain he felt. Dove's resolve to destroy not only the Cyclonians, but False Sky Knights strengthened. 

Dove: They will feel our wrath! Both Cyclonian and fake alike! 

Stain: Yes. Yes they will. Starting with Terra Musutafu. We will hunt down Endeavor's squadron one by one and kill them. They are corrupt. They spit on what a Sky Knight should be! They are no better than the Cyclonians who threaten Atmos! They deserve neither pity nor remorse from us! The only thing they deserve is our blades! 

Dove: What of Endeavor himself?

Stain: He will meet his end soon enough. For now, his squadron will be enough. But rest assured, Endeavor will die.

Dove was moved by Stain's charisma. Her resolve seemed to strengthened tenfold. She would help him wage his war. 

Dove: They will die! As will any who stand in our way!

Stain and Dove prepared their weapons and skimmers for their mission on Terra Musutafu. They would move on Terra Musutafu and kill Endeavor's squadron. When they moved their skimmers, Stain looked to Dove.

Stain: I warn you. Once we cross this threshold, there will be no going back. We do this and we'll be hunted throughout Atmos by Cyclonian and Sky Knight alike. True Sky Knight or false. 

Dove took a moment to reflect on Stain's words. He was giving her an opportunity to leave everything behind and have a chance to find peace. Despite this, Dove's answer was clear.

Dove: I've already crossed the threshold of no return. When the Cyclonians murdered my Grandpapa, they stole whatever peace I had. Like you, I promised to destroy the Cyclonians. Your war is mine. If you die in this war, so shall I. 

Stain smiled at Dove's answer. 

Stain: Such conviction. Very well then. To Terra Musutafu. 

Upon saying that, Stain and Dove started their skimmers and flew away from Terra Neverlandis to Terra Musutafu to destroy Endeavor's squadron and any who stand in their way.
