"Bea?"

"Yes?"

"Could you maybe, uh, stop working for a second?"

"Why?"

"So I can apologize. I've found that it's easier to apologize when the person you're apologizing to is looking at you."

"Fine, why not."

"Cool."

"So?"

"So what?"

"I'm listening and I stopped working. This is where you apologize."

"Oh, yeah, sorry. I just wanted to apologize for how I acted yesterday. You're right, I don't know you that well and I shouldn't act like I do."

"Apology accepted. Can I go back to work now?"

"Can you tell me why you're so upset?"

"Excuse me?"

"You said that if I knew you better I'd know that stress wasn't making you act like this. So I thought I'd ask, what is making you act like this?"

"I admire your directness but I'm not telling you."

"Why not?"

"Because I don't want to."

"Please, Bea, just tell me. Or tell someone! I know something's wrong."

"If there is something going on, I'll tell someone. But it won't be you."

"Okay then. As long as you tell someone, I'll be happy."

"Yay, my dreams of making you happy have been realized. Now I can die a happy woman."

"I know you're being sarcastic but I'm taking it as a compliment anyway."

"I knew you would."

Sorry about the late update! I had it written, I really did, but yesterday was a hard day. I have this headache that won't go away and I can't sleep well so it's just sucky. But the update is here! Yay! Hope you all are having a better day than I am.
