Just a side note, my heart is pounding. I'm excited and nervous for this chapter, and I believe the next chapter will be the last.

Skipper was up early, which was very rare for her. She was the only one awake at 8, and she had good reason.

She wrote many letters, addressed to each of the Squad members, and Timothy. She also had a letter and a package for Temperance. All were hidden under her mattress. Always prepare for the worst, she told herself.

She was hugging her dogs, sobbing hysterically. She was not ready in the slightest, but in three hours she would be stealing something from her best friends and hopefully not getting caught.

She was not ready for it to happen, but she was ready for if it did.

As 11 drew nearer, and she heard the rest of the Squad awakening, she began to quiet herself before calming entirely and going down to breakfast with her friends.

After receiving everyone’s requests, she cooked (by herself. Her second - to - last gift to The Squad) and did as good as she possibly could. She was nervous though, and found herself constantly clutching the photo of The Squad just when Spark joined in her pocket constantly in order to calm herself.

“Something’s up, and it’s definitely worrying me.” whispered Ryft to Raven.

“Same.” replied Raven, watching Skipper intently.

Skipper checked the clock on the counter, and her face was filled with terror.

She looked around at her friends, tears pricking her eyes, before Spark screamed from down the hall.

They were here.

Spark raced to the kitchen where everyone had stood and screamed “IT’S RED AND STORMBIT AND BABY!”

The Squad was immediately in action, a cloud of ravens flying through the open windows and everyone running to grab weapons from their rooms.

Skipper and Raven transformed, and the rest of the group raced to the living room to find the three ready to attack.

The Final Battle began with Travis holding his palm out to the three intruders and a large group of ravens flying towards them, beginning to scratch and peck their attackers. Foxi tossed her know at Stormbit, who blocked it and charged at Foxi.

Kayos broke loose, as Red and Baby fought the remainder of the Squad while Foxi and Stormbit fought while drawing themselves away from the room, and up to the attic.

The last thing Foxi saw of them was Ivy shooting at Red and Ivy's red eyes seeming to glow.

Once they were out of sight, Stormbit and Foxi raced up to the attic. Once they got there, Foxi raced to Ryft's computer and pulled it out from under her desk.

Stormbit walked over to the window, her back facing Foxi and the exit to the attic. Foxi had set the computer down on its side, opening it up and beginning to take it apart. She was glad that her dad had taught her how to do that without breaking it.

Meanwhile, Ivy was starting to glow a dark red as she fought. And a few more people had joined Red and Baby, people The Squad didn't recognize.

Ryft was jumping around the room, kicking random enemies in the head before jumping to the next. Her scarf seemed to be defying gravity, and was starting to slap the people Ryft was kicking. She want the only one showing hidden powers.

Spark's hair strips and eyes were glowing golden, and she was able to dodge every move her opponent was going to use. It's almost as if she heard their thoughts, which she was.

Ivy noticed Foxi's disapeance, and managed to sneak up to the attic.

Foxi, meanwhile, had pulled a key out of Ryft's computer and raced over to the back corner, opening a door to reveal a bathroom. She walked over to the sink, reaching under it and finding a keyhole.

She put the key in and turned it, going back to the top and unscrewing the faucet. She reached in and felt around for a moment, before pulling out a cloudy gem that seemed to have been broken off of something else. She closed everything back up, even putting the key back in the computer and fixing it up, replacing it.

"Stormie!" Called Foxi, standing with her back to the exit. Stormbit turned around and walked over to her.

"Here it is. The other one is in your shoulder, so you don't have to worry about carrying it." Said To, handing her the gem. Stormbit held it up to the light, before giving Foxi a strange look.

"My shoulder?"

Foxi pointed to the shoulder where the gem was. "There was a huge gash there that I could fit it in." She said, shuddering.

Stormbit nodded, a look of approval on the part of her face bot hidden by her scarf.

Suddenly, a loud gunshot sounded from the exit. Foxi froze, her eyes widening in shock, before she fell onto Stormbit.

"Foxi?" Asked Stormbit, before seeing a bloody hole in her back.

"Oh no..." Breathed Stormbit, dropping to her knees and holding Foxi in her arms.

"Temperance..." Foxi breathed, placing a hand over her stomach where blood was starting to stain her suit.

"Skipper...?" Said Stormbit, her eyes wide as she felt a mix of emotions.

"Take care of Maisey for me..." Breathed Foxi, reaching to her neck and taking off her necklace. Her ginger suit faded, and she clutched the necklace in her hand.

"Skipper no. Don't you dare die yet." Blurted Stormbit, unsure of what she was feeling about the dieing girl before her.

Skipper took Stormbit's hand and placed the necklace in it, closing Stormbit's hand with both of her own. She then reached up and pulled down Stormbit's scarf, smearing blood on her cheek.

"Temperance... Please don't hurt them... And don't forget about me."

"Skipper, hold on, I'm going to get you out of here." Said Stormbit, looking up.

"It's too late for me..." Breathed Skipper, before leaning forward and placing a gentle kiss on Stormbit's cheek.

"I love you..." Her hand slid off of Stormbit's face, falling limp beside her as her eyes clouded over.

Skipper was dead.

Stormbit began to cry, realizing that Temperance was still there and strong.

She looked up to see the remainder of the Squad looking at Stormbit and Skipper's body with horrified looks, and Stormbit immideatly stood.

"Stormbit, wait!" Cried Ryft, rushing forward as Stormbit raced out the window and used her powers to carry both herself and Skipper away.

"Wait..." Said Ryft.

"Skipper..."
