Lexie's POV
Finally we boarded the plane. It was 5 hours from California to New York. I listened to music the whole time almost. When we could see the Statute of Liberty, I took out my laptop and video chatted with Sarah. "Hi," I said. "I'm on the plane!" "I miss you already!" Said Sarah. "Awwwwww!" I replied. "Shut up." She said. "How was school?" I asked. "Oh. You know. Same old, same old." She replied. I nodded. "My mom's gonna work at the Empire State Building. Once she starts, she'll make a lot of money. Then she promised me that we could have a nice penthouse apartment overlooking Central Park!" I told her. "Cool." Sarah said. "Wanna see the Statute of Liberty?" I asked her. "Yes!" She replied excitedly. I held the laptop up to the window so she could see. "Wow," Sarah said in awe. "Cool, huh?" I said. "Yeah." "Well, as much as I'd like to talk, we have to get off soon, so bye." I said to Sarah. "Byee," she said. And I shut my laptop. A few minutes later, someone said through a microphone that we're getting off. So I put my laptop back in my bag as the plane landed.
