Lexie's POV
Now we were doing more decorating. First we did the bathroom. It had white tiles on the floor and walls, and we painted some tiles green. Then we put a big picture of a guy surfing on the wall near the sink. This process took us about an hour and a half.
Next, we did the kitchen. My mom wanted it to be red, so that's what we did. Then we hung all the pots and pans from the cupboard. Now we put silver wear in the drawers. Then we hung pictures and phrases from the wall. This took somewhere around 2 hours.
Next we got to mom's room. We painted it orange and yellow. Then we reassembled her desk and hung pictures of me and her or old family photos with my dad in them. My dad. His name was Daniel. He left us when I was 6 years old. I never knew him much because he was always at work. Decorating my mom's room took about 2 hours too.
Finally, we did my room. I wanted it brown, green, and blue, so that's what we did. I put my skateboard under my bed. I know I'm a popular singer, but hey, a girl's got to have something else to do. I was happy with my room. It had a window seat overlooking the street, and I decided to convince my mom to buy a ladder so I could climb up and go in my room from the window. Then I had my mom sew some green fabric to the window seat, and my room was complete.
