Lexie's POV
Monday came in a flash. I went to school, feeling di completely better. I told my best friend, Sarah, that I was moving. "Where?" She asked. "New York City." I replied. Her mouth dropped open and, she hugged me. "You're leaving me!" She said sadly. Sarah was really my only friend. I mean, she was the only person that wasn't mean to me ever. "Don't worry, I'll text you all the time." "Don't leave best friend!" Sarah said. She calls me best friend because we're BFFs. "We'll video chat on our laptops, ok?" "Promise?" Sarah asked. "Promise," I replied. This is my last day, so we decided to just hang out the whole time. I told all of my teachers, and when the day ended, I took my locker lock. Sarah hugged me for 5 whole minutes. At least, that's what it seemed like. "I'm gonna miss you, best friend," she said, almost crying. "I promise we'll keep in touch ok?" I said. Sarah and I both took out our cell phones to take one last selfie together. Then we said goodbye, and mom drove to the airport. Bye, El Tejon Middle School forever!
