"SPIRITKIT!!! SPIRITKIT!!! WHERE ARE YOU!?!"

The scream of Sunheart woke Maggotpelt and Dapplefur up. Both elders looked out the den. What they saw was Sunheart pacing back and forth in front of the nursery. Her mate, Flamewing, a orange tom with a white muzzle and Dustpaw, a brown and tan freckled tom and Sunheart's first son, were with her trying to calm her down. Dapplefur sighed. She knew this would happen. Other warriors were up too. Some looked worried while some looked tried. 

Maggotpelt gave her a guilty look. "If I knew Sunheart would act like this, I would've took Spiritkit back." He giggled a little. Dapplefur couldn't help but to giggle as well. He got up, trying not to  wake Spiritkit, who some how is still asleep. He exited the den, Sunheart eyeing him. She rushed over to him.

"Maggotpelt, do you know where my daughter is?" She asked. Her eyes were wide with worry.

"She's fine. She wandered into the elders den during the night" he replied in a calm voice.

"WHAT!" Sunheart screamed. She ran past him straight into the elders den.

Flamewing walked up to Maggotpelt. "Why was she in there?" He asked, clearly confused.

Maggotpelt just laughed. "Don't ask me. She's your daughter"

"You'll never lose your sense of humor, will you?" Flamewing asked with a sense of humor. Maggotpelt just nodded. There was then a rustle from the elders den. Walking out was Sunheart, her eyes gleaming as Spiritkit walked out as well her eyes open. The cats who were up stared in amazement at Spiritkit.

"You're eyes are open!"

"Spiritkit is awake!"

Cats shouted praise for Spiritkit. Reedfoot walked out of the medicine cat den. He was confused at the cats around him. It was until he noticed Spiritkit standing in the clearing. He started to walk up to Sunheart. "When did she open her eyes?" He asked.

Sunheart shrugged "I didn't see her open her eyes but she wandered into the elders den during the night"

"Really?" Reedfoot didn't seem convince. He never heard of a kit opening their eyes during the night.

Sunheart started to feel uneasy. "Maybe she just felt like opening her eyes"

"Well take her back to the nursery. I want her to rest for a bit." Reedfoot said. Sunheart nodded, nudging Spiritkit back to the nursery. Spiritkit looked back at Reedfoot. She saw a look of suspicion in his eyes.
