Desmond eventually made it to Diana's house as he was fixing his hair and began walking towards the main door as he was fixing his attire.

Desmond fixed his hair as he made it to the front door as he pressed on the doorbell and was waiting for the door to be opened as he was holding his right arm as it was still hurting. Suddenly he heard the front door opening as he saw Diana looking at him.

Diana: Hey Desmond!

Desmond: Hey sis.

She smiled at him and told him to enter the house as he entered the house and began looking around until he heard someone call his name as he saw who it was.

Desmond: Hey Tay and Anna.

Anna: Its good to see you again Desmond!

Tay: Are you feeling better now?

Desmond: Yeah, I'm feeling alright.

Diana: That's good to hear brother. You should rest up more often.

Tay: That's right, Take good care of yourself.

Desmond: Will do.

Elizabeth told them that dinner was ready as they decided to go to the dining table and took their seats as Desmond saw Will and Victoria as he greeted them as they smiled at him and took their seats as Elizabeth also sat down as everyone saw what was on the table.

Everyone began eating as Will and Victoria was talking to Desmond as he looked at them.

Will: How are you Desmond?

Desmond: I'm alright, What about all of you?

Victoria: Oh we're doing alright.

Will: Diana told us you worked at the Daily Bugle right?

Desmond: Yeah, I'm a photographer there.

Victoria: What's it like working with Jameson?

Desmond: He's annoying and loves to brand Spider Man as a menace but he's also a good man.

Elizabeth: I see. Like I said, He should stop branding Spider Man as a menace when he is a hero protecting this city.

Diana: You should have seen today's news, A Subway fight between Anne Winters, Spider Man and The Lizard.

Anna: Not gonna lie, That fight was chaotic and crazy.

Diana: That I can agree on.

Will: Aside from that, What else have you been up too?

Desmond: Nothing much honestly.

Victoria: Do you have a girlfriend?

Desmond: No I'm not dating anyone.

Elizabeth: Oh I see.

Diana: Hope you find the right one bro.

Desmond: Yeah.

Dinner was over as Desmond decided to clean some of the dishes as he was putting the plate back in its place until he saw Tay walking towards him as she looked at him and spoke to him.

Tay: You seem to have a quiet life and you barely talk about it.

Desmond: That's just who I am.

Tay: What's been bothering you?

Desmond looked at her as he noticed she was worried about him and spoke to her.

Desmond: Its nothing, I'm fine.

Tay: Desmond, You know I'm your friend and you know I'm here for you.

Desmond: Yes.

Tay: Then tell me what's been bothering you?

Desmond was silent as he looked down on the ground as Tay was worried about him and waited for a response until he sighed to himself and spoke to her.

Desmond: I'll tell you everything. . . . .

Tay was staring at him as Desmond took a deep breath as he began talking about his past along with everything he has been through.

Desmond: My mom was a doctor while My dad was a businessman. My brother wanted to be like my father, We were such a happy family until things took a turn and I lost them when I was five years old.

Tay was shocked from what she heard and felt bad for Desmond as he continued talking to her.

Desmond: I found Hannah and took care of her for a few years until she was adopted by her family. I never went with them.

Tay: Why?

Desmond: It's just. . . . I'm not even a good person, I stole people's wallets and I even got arrested once for stealing something. Every sibling looks up to their older sibling as a role model and want to be like them in the future but I made so many mistakes that I don't want Hannah to become like me.

Tay felt sad hearing what he said but unknown to them Diana along with her family and Anna heard what Desmond said to Tay as they felt bad for him. Diana felt like crying as Elizabeth began hugging her.

Desmond: After a few years, I was adopted by Rosie and Otto Octavius. They were scientists wanting to make the world a better place. They were treating me like I was their son. I was so happy but. . . .

Tay looked at him as Desmond sighed to himself and looked at Tay as he continued speaking to her.

Desmond: Rosie went into a coma and. . . . Otto never spoke to me again.

Tay: I'm so sorry Desmond.

Desmond: I even pushed away the love of my life and now she hates me. Ever since then, I've been living alone for two years.

Tay was silent as She hugged Desmond as he looked at her until she spoke to him.

Tay: I'm so sorry for what has happened to you Desmond, I didn't know you suffered this much in your life. . . .

She continued hugging him as Desmond was looking at her as Tay broke the hug and looked at him.

Tay: You lost alot of your loved ones and I understand the pain of that.

Desmond was silent as Tay continued speaking to him.

Tay: With all this pain, Your still standing in your feet trying to be strong enough to go through life, Your a strong person, Desmond. You know that you can't give up even if you felt like you should.

Desmond looked at her as Tay said something to him.

Tay: Remember Desmond, We're all here for you.

Desmond looked at her as she hugged him again as he sighed to himself and hugged her as they broke the hug and left the kitchen.

Desmond noticed Diana had tears falling from her eyes as he looked at her until she hugged him tightly as Desmond said something to her.

Desmond: Don't worry, I'll never leave you again. I'll always be there for you.

Diana smiled at him and hugged him as the others smiled at them as the rest of the night went peacefully for them.

Meanwhile in a abandoned warehouse showed Lucas walking around as he cracked his knuckles until he saw Venom.

Venom: Why are we here? We're wasting time, We should be going after Desmond.

Lucas: I know Venom but believe me I want him to suffer.

Venom: Then Let's make him suffer.

Lucas: Don't worry, I already have a plan, Just wait for a few days.
