Desmond shot a web line and began swinging around the city as he was making his way to Gionna's house. He needed to meet them and find Chris so that they can cure him. He shot another web line and continued swinging as he was thinking about everything that has happened until he saw the house.

He jumped down and made it to the house as he noticed the front door was already open as he was confused. Desmond opened the door and saw the house was a mess as he began looking around.

Desmond was walking around the house until he noticed some thugs who were dead as he said something to himself.

Desmond: What even happened here?

He continued looking around as he saw a blood trail on the ground as Desmond began analysing it and took the blood sample as he said something to himself.

Desmond: It's Chris's blood. Who were those armed gunmen and what were they doing in Gionna's house?

He began walking around the house as Desmond was looking for some clues. He eventually made it back downstairs as he sighed to himself and said something.

Desmond: What were those armed thugs even doing here? Were they trying to rob the house or is it something else?

He decided to leave the house as he shot a web line and stood on the rooftop as he looked at the blood sample.

Desmond: I should be able to make a cure at the Empire State University. Let's hope Gionna and the others are there too.

Meanwhile The Enforcers made it to the safe house as they were looking at the equipment they stolen back at the Roxxon Research Facility until they heard a door opening as they saw Anne entering the safe house as she was upset.

Montana: You alright Boss?

Anne: Do I look alright?

Fancy Dan: You need to calm down Boss.

Anne: Right. . . . I need to calm down.

Suddenly one tentacle grabbed Fancy Dan as she threw him to the table as Ox and Montana were looking at her as Anne glared at the other two enforcers.

Anne: How can I relax if the arachnid keeps interfering in our plans?

Montana: That bug is really tough and let's not forget about the lizard getting in our way.

Anne: Let the arachnid handle the lizard.

Montana: True but boss you need to relax. We'll figure this out later.

Anne sighed to herself and let go of Fancy Dan as she looked at the enforcers but Anne said something to them.

Anne: Let's lay low for a few days and then we strike again.

Ox: Alright Boss.

Anne: In the meantime, I'll examine the equipment that we stole from the facility. After all I did said I have some surprises for all of you.

The Enforcers nodded as Anne began examining the equipment as the others were helping her.

Meanwhile Gionna and her friends managed to get inside the empire state university as they were inside the lab and began looking for components needed to make a cure as they heard a strange noise as they looked around.

Jessica: What was that?

Lexi: Could it be the police?

Thea: Who knows.

Suddenly they heard something as they turned around and saw Desmond holding the blood sample as they spoke to him.

Ethan: Spider Man!

Desmond: I guess your all here to make the cure.

Gionna: Yeah, We need to help Chris.

Desmond: Indeed but I just want to ask all of you a question

Priscilla: Look we'll be honest with you. Chris hasn't taken the lizard serum.

Cassie: He never used the serum after the incident that happened two years back.

Dori: We're telling you the truth.

Desmond looked at them as he decided to analyse the blood sample even more as the others were also helping him.

Gionna was looking at the computer as she noticed Desmond exaiming the blood sample until she spoke to him.

Gionna: It's good to see you again Spider Man.

Desmond: Umm. . . . Thanks.

Gionna noticed his right hand had a cut on it as she looked back at him and spoke to him.

Gionna: Your hurt.

Desmond: Don't worry-

Gionna stopped him as she ran to grab a first aid kit as Desmond was looking at her until she found the kit and walked towards him as she looked at him.

She began cleaning the wound using the antiseptic as Desmond sighed in anger as Gionna was holding his hand as he looked at her. Gionna began wrapping a bandage around his hand as he looked at her.

Desmond: Thanks. . . . .

Gionna smiled at him as Desmond couldn't help but look at her as they continued staring at each other until they heard someone call his name as he turned around and saw Ethan.

Ethan: What's the problem?

Desmond: Well your friend still has traces of the lizard DNA in his body.

Priscilla: Wait, I thought we cured him.

Desmond: The Lizard DNA is still bonded with him. Whatever happened in that house must have triggered dormant traces of the serum and transformed him into the lizard.

Michelle: Oh my god.

Lexi: What do we do?

Desmond: I need to synthesize a cure that will permanently remove the lizard DNA from his body.

Thea: Alright then but how will you find him?

Desmond: I know one place, The Sewers.

The group looked at each other as Desmond managed to create a gene cleanser that will permanently remove the lizard DNA from Chris's body and turn him back to normal.

Desmond grabbed the cure and shot a web line as he immediately left the university and saw a manhole as he opened it and looked at himself.

Desmond: Here goes nothing.

He jumped down as he landed in the Sewers as he shot a web line and began moving through the Sewers as the smell was terrible.

Desmond: Urgh, Why do they like hiding in dark subterranean layers? Why not a nice sunny beach for once?

He continued moving through the sewers until he heard a loud growl as Desmond was looking around until he continued moving as he heard even more growls in the distance as he continued making his way there.

Desmond sighed to himself and continued crawling through the walls as he saw many insects moving past him until he noticed a shadow in the tunnels.

He looked at the tunnels and saw a small lizard crawling around as he sighed in anger until his spider senses went off and then...

The lizard and Desmond were fighting underwater as the lizard began to choke Desmond as he was struggling to fight back until the spider kicked him in the face as both of them began swimming until they made it through one of the chambers as they were looking at each other.

The lizard tried to attack Desmond but he moved out of the way as he grabbed its tail and threw him to the wall as Desmond looked at the monster.

The lizard grabbed a barrel and threw it at Desmond but he jumped on the wall as the lizard tried to run towards the exit points of the sewers until Desmond blocked the exit points.

The lizard growled at Desmond as he tried to attack the spider but he moved out of the way. The lizard ripped open a grate and threw it at Desmond as he dodged it until he saw the lizard jumping down as he began following him.

Desmond eventually made it through the main pumping station as he was crawling on the walls until he saw the lizard walking around as it let out a menacing growl as he was looking at it.

Desmond had the cure in his hand as he shot a web line and tried to hit a surprise attack on the lizard but his phone rang and then...

Desmond was holding the cure as he looked at his phone and saw Diana calling him as he was gonna message her but his spider sense alerted him of a danger as he looked in front of him and then....

The lizard tightened the grip on Desmond as he was in pain until he threw him to the wall as he was holding his back.

Desmond was staring at Chris as he growled at him and then....

Desmond was on the ground as he was struggling to get up until the lizard grabbed him and looked at him as he began growling at the spider.

The lizard was gonna bite his head until both of them heard a voice as they saw Priscilla along with the group.

Priscilla: Chris, I know your still in there. Please, You have to fight it!

The lizard growled at the group as they moved back until he tried to attack them but Desmond shot a web line at him and then....

The group were shocked as they immediately ran and began looking around until the lizard rose from the water and attacked Desmond but he hit a roundhouse kick as the lizard growled at him and tried to attack him but...

Desmond tried to give the antidote to Chris but he growled at him and threw Desmond to the water as he pounced at him and began punching him until Desmond kicked him as both of them continued fighting each other.

The lizard tried to bite Desmond's head as he managed to dodge it and punched him in the face but the lizard also punched him back as the group was watching the action.

The lizard pounced on him again as Desmond was struggling to break free until he saw a wooden plank next to the group as he shot a web line and grabbed the plank as he hit the lizard in the head with it.

The lizard growled at Desmond as he tried to attack him but the spider managed to inject the antidote on him.

The lizard pushed Desmond away as he growled at him until he began holding his head as the growls turned into scream as Desmond saw the lizard slowly turning back into Chris as he let out a scream before he turned back to normal.

Chris was on the ground as Desmond managed to help him up as he shot a web line and managed to get back up as the group were helping Chris who was struggling to get on his feet.

Cassie: Oh my god, Are you alright?

Maria: Chris, Can you hear us?

Chris: *Sighs* I'm fine. . .

Desmond: Rest up Chris.

Ethan: Your right man. Come on, Let's get you out of here.

The group helped Chris up as they looked at Desmond who was holding his right arm in pain.

Suddenly the group shared a group hug with Desmond as he was shocked but he also hugged them back as he spoke to them.

Desmond: Go home everyone and Rest up. Take care of yourselves.

Priscilla: Thank you Spider Man for everything.

Lexi: You also take care Spider Man.

Desmond nodded as the group left the sewers as he was gonna shoot a web line but he heard a voice as he turned around and saw Gionna walking towards him.

Gionna: Come with us to the hospital.

Desmond: It's okay, I'm fine.

Gionna: Your badly hurt, You need to go to a hospital.

Desmond: Don't worry about me, Just take care of yourself along with your friends. Alright?

Gionna was looking at him as she immediately ran and hugged him as Desmond hugged her back as she looked at him.

Gionna: Stay safe Spider Man.

Desmond: You too.

He shot a web line and managed to get out of the Sewers as Gionna followed her friends out of the Sewers.

Desmond was on the rooftop as he heard his phone ring as he saw Diana calling him as he answered the phone.

Desmond: Hey sis.

Diana: Desmond, How are you?

Desmond: I'm fine and you?

Diana: I'm fine too. What happened? You said you were coming over for dinner.

Desmond: I got busy with some work but now I'm free. I'm heading to the house right now.

Diana: Alright brother, I'll see you soon.

Desmond: You too sis.

Desmond disconnected the call and shot a web line as he began making his towards Hannah's house.
