Meanwhile at eclipse tower showeed police officers along with Roxxon guards investigating the ballroom as they were trying to find some evidence. Captain Stacy along with Yuri were looking around until George found something.

He saw a pumpkin dagger at the wall as George took the weapon and looked at it as Yuri spoke to him.

Yuri: Same weapon that Osborn once used.

George: Your right about that. The Dagger looks modified though.

Yuri: It looks like it. Do you think Norman is back?

George: I don't know Yuri but we'll figure this out later.

Yuri: Alright sir.

George: Is everyone alright?

Yuri: Everyone is fine and the thugs have been apprehended.

George nodded as they left the ballroom and exited the tower as they were thinking about everything that has happened. They were wondering who the goblin was and what was his motive now. So many mysteries began surrounding them and they were hoping to find some answers.

Meanwhile back at the apartment complex. Desmond was looking at Marina as she got up from her seat and looked at him as Ketch spoke to her.

Desmond: Hey Marina.

Marina: How are you?

Desmond: I'm alright, How are you?

Marina: I'm alright too.

Desmond: I'm sorry for leaving you at the bank. I-

Marina: It's okay Desmond. I'm not angry at you.

Desmond was silent as Marina smiled at him as he was staring at her until she spoke to him.

Marina: Deborah raised a very good man.

Desmond's eyes were widen by what she said as Marina looked at him until he spoke to her.

Desmond: You know my mother?

Marina: Yes, She was my best friend.

Desmond was shocked by what Marina told him as she sat down and spoke to him as he listened to her.

Marina: Your mother and I know each other since high school. We were like sisters and our bond was unbreakable.

Desmond was silent as Marina continued talking to him as he was listening to her.

Marina: After a few years, She became a doctor and I was an attorney but despite all this, we still kept in contact with each other.

Desmond was still silent as he continued listening to Marina's story.

Marina: Later on, She got married and you know the rest of the story.

Desmond was silent as he couldn't believe what he heard, Marina noticed him silent as he looked at her.

Marina: She always said that she wanted her children to be strong, to stick with their morals and understand that nothing can corrupt them. Her children was her world.

Marina had tears falling from her eyes as Desmond walked towards her and wiped the tears as she looked at him.

Marina: But. . . . I left New York and a few days later your parents passed away and I never knew that.

Marina began crying even more as Desmond was staring at her as she spoke to him.

Marina: For all these years you suffered from pain and loneliness and I never knew that. I promised Deborah that I will take care of her children but. . .

Marina immediately hugged Desmond and cried even more as He hugged her back. She couldn't stop crying as Desmond was comforting her.

He took a glass of water and gave it to her as she couldn't stop crying and spoke to him.

Marina: It's my fault Desmond, I should have been there for you. I should have protected and took care of you but I failed you.

Desmond: Marina. . . It's not your fault.

Marina: It is my fault Desmond. Your mother helped me through my entire life and I couldn't-

Desmond: Marina, It's not your fault. Don't blame yourself.

Marina looked at him as Desmond wiped her tears as she couldn't help but have a small smile on her face as she spoke to him.

Marina: Whenever I look at you, I remember your parents. When I first saw you at the bank and you told me your name, I remember the talk Me and Deborah had.

Desmond: What is it?

Marina: When she was thinking of a name for you. She loved the name "Desmond". She loved the meaning of it.

Desmond couldn't help but remember the memories he had with his parents as Marina spoke to him.

Marina: Remember Desmond, If there's anything that is troubling you. Remember I'm here for you.

Desmond was holding her hand as she looked at him until he said something to her.

Desmond: I'm here for you Marina till the end.

Marina hugged Desmond again as he hugged her back as he looked back. Marina told him that she was gonna leave now as she got up and was gonna exit the apartment until Desmond spoke to her.

Desmond: Marina, Don't keep holding on to the past. Focus on building a better future for yourself.

Marina wanted to say something but Desmond spoke to her.

Desmond: We all have our demons but keeping them at bay is what makes us stronger.

Marina couldn't help but smile at him as she began having memories of the words Deborah said to her.

Marina: May your life be filled with happiness and joy Desmond.

Desmond: Same goes to you Marina.

She smiled at him and said "Bye" to him as he responded back to her as she left the apartment.

Desmond sat down on the chair and began thinking about the talk he had with Marina along with everything that has happened.

Desmond fixed the photo frame as he looked at the picture of his mother until he heard a phone call as he looked at the caller ID and it was Maria.

Desmond: Hey Maria.

Maria: Hey Desmond, Are you alright?

Desmond: Don't worry about me, Is everyone alright?

Maria: We're all fine Desmond, The Others went to sleep. I wanted to check up on you.

Desmond: I'm alright Maria, Don't worry about me. I'm glad all of you are alright.

Maria: You too. I can't believe what I saw.

Desmond: The Green Goblin. No one can ever forget the carnage he created in this city.

Maria: From his words, He looks like he wants to take Fisk's throne.

Desmond: Yeah, This war is starting to escalate.

Maria: I can't believe this.

Suddenly Desmond was thinking about something during his fight with the Goblin. The Goblin's Tech is created from Oscorp, Desmond was silent until Maria spoke to him.

Maria: Desmond, Are you there?

Desmond: Maria, Who took over Oscorp a few weeks ago?

Maria: Magnus Erikson. What about him?

Desmond: Does Ethan work with him?

Maria: Yeah they're partners. Desmond, What's the matter?

Desmond: Maria, Keep your eyes on Magnus and Ethan.

Maria: Will do Desmond.

Desmond disconnected the call as he was thinking about Magnus and Ethan until he said something to himself.

Desmond: Ethan, I hope your not getting yourself into trouble.

Desmond shot another webline and continued swinging as he was calling the Goblin out.

Desmond: Paging Green Goblin! Where are you hiding Gobby?

He continued swinging until he noticed police cars chasing a vehicle as Desmond sighed to himself.

Desmond jumped on the vehicle and looked at the driver as he was shocked.

Desmond: License and Registration!

Thug: Screw you!

Desmond grabbed two thugs and threw them out of the car as he shot a cobweb as they were stuck on it and were struggling to break free.

Desmond pulled the driver out and shot a cobweb at him as the car flipped and was gonna hit a civilian until Desmond catched it.

Desmond put the car down as he heard someone calling his name as he turned around and immediately recognized who it was as he sighed to himself.

Desmond: Oh Great. . . .

Leah: Spider Man! That was awesome!

Desmond was gonna shoot a webline until Leah stopped him as he looked at her.

Leah: Do you want my autograph?

Desmond: Why would I want your autograph?

Leah: Do you know who I am?!?! I'm the greatest-

Desmond didn't let her talk as he shot a webline and began swinging away as Leah was shocked.

Desmond continued swinging around the city as he said something to himself.

Desmond: Not only does Spider Man have enemies. Desmond Ketch has enemies.

He heard a disturbance happening in a old condemned theater as he decided to check it out.

He managed to enter the theater as he was greeted with silence as he didn't notice anyone was here.

Desmond was gonna leave the place until his Spider sense alerted him of a danger as he looked around and then...

Desmond was holding his back as he heard footsteps as he looked in front of him and saw who it was.

Montana: Looks like the bug fell right into my trap.

Desmond: Shocker.

Montana: But I have to admit you really are tough as nails.

Montana pointed the gauntlet at Desmond as he said something to him.

Montana: Let's end this.
