Y/N's P.O.V

I open my eyes and roll over in bed to see Kate asleep next to me.

As I sit up I hear the front door open, then close. Harry's left for work.

I get out of bed and put on a t-shirt.

After that I go downstairs and put on some music.

Y/N: May as well eat before I go to work.

I put on a song that my dad loved. He'd play it on Sunday mornings alot.

I slide across the floor and sing along. 

(A/N: Just imagine it's Y/N and ignore the super speed.)

I make breakfast as I move around the kitchen enjoying the song.

(Thirty minutes later)

After changing into my clothes, I'm now sat on the couch watching TV.

Just catching up on some shows.

Y/N: Whoa. Didn't see that coming.

Kate: Morning, babe.

I look over and see Kate in one of my t-shirts.

Y/N: Morning.

Kate: Why are you up so early?

Y/N: I don't know. I just woke up and made some breakfast. I was really hungry.

She comes over and sits on the couch with me.

Kate: Well, you did skip dinner last night. So, I'm not surprised.

Y/N: Yeah... I did apologise for that, right?

Kate: Yeah, you did. But you still should've eaten.

Y/N: I know. You're right. Now, come here.

I lean in and kiss her.

Just then my phone goes off.

I pick it up.

It's Joe, I'm needed at a crime scene.

Y/N: Oh, there's a crime scene. I gotta go, babe.

I kiss her before getting up.

Kate: That's good. I gotta put the finishing touches on your surprise.

Y/N: Yeah, what is this surprise about anyway?

Kate: I can't tell you that. It wouldn't be a surprise. It's almost finished, okay?

I chuckle.

Y/N: Okay, fine. Oh, save me that Bear Claw.

Kate: Not happening. You web swing, you lose.

I shake my head.

Y/N: Love you, Katie.

Kate: Love you too.

I leave and go to the crime scene.

(Fifteen minutes later)

After swinging down into an alleyway, I come out and go to the crime scene across the street.

I go over to Joe and Detective Eddie Thawn.

Y/N: Hey, Joe.

Joe: Ah, Y/N, perfect timing.

I shake hands with both him and Eddie.

Y/N: Hey, Eddie.

Eddie: Hey, man.

We duck under the police tape and go into the alleyway.

Y/N: So, what we got?

Eddie: Nothing good.

We go over to the dead body.

Y/N: Damn.

Joe: Yeah.

I kneel down next to the body.

Y/N: Is this the only body?

Joe: Yep.

Y/N: We got an I.D on him?

Eddie: Uh, yeah. His name is Jordan Davis. Thirty-seven years old, but his job is unknown.

Y/N: That's weird.

Joe: So, what do you think, kid?

I examine the dead body.

Y/N: Well, cause of death is a broken neck.

I look up and see cracks in the wall.

Y/N: Okay, I'm thinking that the killer slammed the victim into the wall and snapped his neck.

Joe and Eddie look at the wall.

Eddie: How can a killer break the wall like that?

Y/N: The killer's definitely has super strength. No normal human could do this.

I look at the neck of the body and find dog tags.

I take off the dog tags and look at them.

They have the S.H.I.E.L.D logo on them.

Y/N: This guy was a S.H.I.E.L.D agent.

Joe: How's that possible? S.H.I.E.L.D went down like eight years ago.

Y/N: I meant an ex-S.H.I.E.L.D agent.

Eddie: Wait, how do you know that?

I stand up.

Y/N: Because my dad was an ex-S.H.I.E.L.D agent. He retired after I was born and he had these.

Joe: So, what does this all mean?

Y/N: I'm not sure.

Joe: Okay. Eddie, let's give Y/N so space to work.

The two walk away.

I look around and see something.

Y/N: What the hell?

I pick up a web line.

Y/N: There's another Spider? How?

I put the web line in a bag and continue to examine the crime scene.

(Two hours later)

I'm now back at my lab and I'm examining the web line that I found.

It has the same components as the web fluid I use in my web shooters.

Y/N: How is this possible?

Just then I see Kate walk in.

Kate: Hey.

Y/N: Hey, beautiful. I didn't expect to see you.

Kate: Well, I was in the area and I wanted to come by and see you.

Y/N: Aw, you're so sweet.

She comes over and we kiss.

Kate: So, what's going on?

Y/N: Well, we found an ex-S.H.I.E.L.D agent with a broken neck. And I found webs at the scene.

Kate: Seriously?

Y/N: Yeah.

Kate: Does that mean who ever did this has the same powers of you?

Y/N: Maybe. All I know is that the web line has the same components that I use for my web fluid. None of this makes any sense.

Kate: People may think Spider-Man did this.

Y/N: Yeah. I'm not lookin' to be framed for murder again.

Kate: You know what? You need a break. Come with me. Your surprise is ready.

I sigh.

Y/N: Okay. Let's go. I can take a quick break.

She and I walk out of my lab.

(One hour later)

Kate and I get out of the car and we're outside a Bishop Security facility.

Y/N: Uh, Kate, why are we here?

Kate: Just come on.

We go inside and go over to an elevator.

Y/N: I thought this facility was shut down.

Kate: It was. So, I decided to use it for something else.

She and I take the elevator down and come out into a dark room.

Kate flips the switch and the lights come on.

Y/N: Whoa. What is this place?

Kate: This is our new base. I figured it'd be good to have one.

Y/N: Nice. Good thinking.

(A/N: Just imagine there's red lights.)

Kate: I think we should call it the Spider Cave.

Y/N: Aw, that's nice. Thanks.

She nods.

I look around the place.

I see two cases against the wall.

Y/N: What are these?

Kate: Glass cases for our suits. They're keyed to our DNA too.

Y/N: Nice. And there's room for more too.

Kate: Yep. Oh, and here's something else for you. I made up a suit for you using a design of yours.

She opens the case to reveal a new suit.

Y/N: Wow.

Kate: I may have added in a few touches.

Y/N: Thanks, babe.

It's nice to have a base now. It'll be alot better than working out of the condo.
