Y/N's P.O.V

Now that everything has been dealt with, Kate, Clint and I are sitting on the back of an ambulance.

It's easy to see that tonight was hard for Kate.

Clint: I'm gonna be honest with you, Kate. It doesn't happen often, but every once and awhile, you meet someone that just makes you better in every way.

Y/N: He's right. It happened to me recently.

She smiles.

Kate: Thanks, guys.

Clint: We know that tonight was alot. You took on Kingpin all by yourself. Not many people walk away from somethin' like that.

Y/N: True. I know that from painful past experiences.

Clint: I'm so proud of you.

Kate: Thank you.

Clint: You know what? We gotta walk that dog.

I chuckle.

Kate: Yeah, we do.

Y/N: Well, Clint can do that.

Clint: What? Why me?

Y/N: Because you had the easiest fight tonight. Kate fought Kingpin, I fought Scorpion. Those guys are alot tougher than Kazi.

Kate laughs.

Kate: He's got a point.

After that we leave the area to let the authorities do their jobs.

(The next day)

So, today is Christmas and Clint has brought me and Kate with him back to his family.

He doesn't want us being on our own during Christmas.

Clint drives up to the house and parks out infront of it.

He gets out of the car and gets the presents out of the trunk.

Clint: Hey, you two coming?

Y/N: Yeah.

Kate: Come on, Lucky.

I'm just glad she finally gave the dog a name.

We come around from the other side of the car.

Kate: Are you sure this is okay?

Clint: Oh, yeah. They're very excited to meet you two.

Just then the door opens and Clint's kids come out.

They swarm Clint and hug him.

He youngest, Nate. comes over to us.

Nate: Hi.

Y/N: Hi. You must be Nate.

Nate: That's right. What's your name?

Y/N: Well, I'm Y/N and this is Kate.

Nate: Hi, Kate.

Kate: Hi.

As they kids go inside Lucky runs into the house to play with them.

We go inside too.

Nate: The dog is so cute. What's his name?

Kate: That's Lucky.

Clint's wife, Laura sees us.

Clint: Right, yeah. Brought home a couple of strays.

I close the door.

Y/N: Hey.

Kate: Hi.

Clint: This is Y/N and Kate. I wouldn't have made it back if it wasn't for them.

Laura: Welcome, Y/N and Kate.

She comes over and hugs both of us.

Laura: So good to have you both.

(Ten minutes later)

So, while Clint's kids are opening their presents, Kate and I go outside with Clint.

He needs our help with something.

The three of us go outside and put the Ronin suit on the grill out there.

Clint: I figured you two would wanna help me finish what the three of us started.

Clint hands Kate the matches and she throws a lit one onto the suit and it burns up.

As the suit burns Kate looks at us.

Kate: Can I ask you guys something?

Clint: Sure.

Y/N: Of course.

Kate: What do you guys think of "Lady Hawk?"

I chuckle.

Y/N: That's a terrible name.

Clint: He's right.

We walk away.

Kate: "Hawk Eve?"

Y/N: Nope.

Clint: That's worse.

Kate: Damn. Okay. What about "Hawk-Shot?" You know instead of hot-shot?

Y/N: Definitely not.

Kate: Okay. "Lady Arrow?"

Clint: None of those.

Kate: Alright, fine.

Clint: Actually I have an idea.

Today is also the day Kate becomes Hawkeye.

(Several hours later)

After a long day, Kate and I go to bed in the spare room that Clint set us up in.

I come out of the bathroom and see Kate in bed.

Kate: Hey.

Y/N: Hey. How you doing?

Kate: I'm okay. I miss my mum a little though.

Y/N: I get it, but you did do the right thing.

Kate: I know. Come to bed, Pretty Boy.

I go over to the bed and cuddle with her under the covers.

Kate: I'm just glad I have you.

Y/N: Me too. And I don't plan on going anywhere.

She smiles.

Kate: Good.

She and I lay in bed and fall asleep together.

(Two weeks later)

(Queens, New York)

So, Christmas was great and now I'm back home in New York.

I'm also doing something new.

With some help from some friends I'm now able to interview for a job I can see myself doing.

Right now I'm sat in a police precinct waiting to be interviewed.

The Captain's office door opens and Joe comes out.

Joe: Is Y/N Drake here?

I stand up.

Y/N: Yes. That's me.

I go over to him.

I then shake his hand.

Y/N: Nice to meet you, Captain West.

Joe: You too. Do I know you?

Y/N: I don't think so. Why?

Joe: You just look familiar. And you have the same last name of an old friend of mine.

Y/N: Oh. Well, it must be a coincidence.

He nods.

Joe: Yeah, it must be. Well, come in, Mr. Drake.

He doesn't remember me thanks to Strange's spell, but now he knows me again.

I walk into the office with Joe.

My old life as Y/N Drake may be gone, but my new life is pretty damn good too.

Both as Y/N Drake and as Spider-Man.
