Y/N's P.O.V

Fury and I get off the boat and then walk into the base.

Nick Fury: You can take that mask off. Everyone in here already knows you're Spider-Man.

I retract my mask as I look around to see Hill and other ex-S.H.I.E.L.D agents etc.

Fury starts pointing out memebers of his team.

Nick Fury: Now, you obviously know Maria Hill. That is Dimitri. And this is Mr. Beck.

I look over to see Mysterio standing without his bubble helmet.

Y/N: Mysterio?

He looks at me.

Beck: What?

Y/N: Sorry, it's just what the news has been calling you.

Beck: Well, you can call me Quentin.

Y/N: Y/N Drake.

He walks over to me and we shake hands.

(A/N: Just imagine it's Y/N in his Iron-Spider MK Three armor.)

Quentin: You handled yourself well out there today. I saw what you did with the tower. We could've used a hero like you on my Earth.

Y/N: Thanks.

I tilt my head.

Y/N: Wait, your Earth?

Nick Fury: Mr. Beck is from Earth. Just not this one.

Quentin: There are multiple different Earth's. This Earth is known as Earth-421. I come from Earth-713.

I walk over.

Y/N: Hold on, you're saying there's a multiverse? I thought all of that was theoretical. That changes how we understand the initial singularity. We're talking about an enteral inflation system. How does that even work with all the quantum...? It's insane.

I look over to see Fury and Hill staring at me.

Y/N: Sorry, it's just really cool. I've had my theories on the multiverse.

I look over to Beck.

Quentin: Don't ever apologise for being the smartest guy in the room.

I smile.

Y/N: Right.

Maria: Anyway...

A hologram of a black hole appears infront of us.

Quentin: They were born in stable orbits within black holes. Creatures formed from the primary elements. Air, water, fire and earth. The Science Division had a technical name for them. We just called them Elementals.

Beck goes on to explain how him and other heroes on his earth tried to fight them off but they failed and Beck lost his wife and kids in the process.

Luckily there's only one Elemental left, the fire one.

Maria: The fire Elemental will be in Prague in less the forty-eight hours.

Nick Fury: We have one mission. Kill it and you're coming with us. We still need Spider-Man's help.

I nod.

Y/N: I saw what that water Elemental did here.

I look to Beck.

Y/N: You're gonna need my help to take down the fire one.

Quentin: I'm sure we'll make a good team.

I nod.

I then go over to Fury.

Y/N: Look Fury, we're gonna need some back-up.

Nick Fury: There's no-one we can call.

Y/N: What about Thor?

Nick Fury: Off world.

Y/N: Okay, Dr. Strange?

Maria: Unavailable.

Y/N: Captain America?

Nick Fury: Busy.

Y/N: Captain Marvel?

Nick Fury: Don't evoke her name.

Y/N: Well, I actually call her Carol.

I sigh and look to Beck.

Y/N: I guess it's just us then.

Quentin: Don't worry, kid. We've got this.

Y/N: Hope so. Look, I'm gonna head back and pack up.

Fury nods.

Nick Fury: Alright then.

I start to walk out.

Quentin: See you soon, kid.

Y/N: Yeah, see ya.

As I walk out I realise that Beck does remind me of Tony, especially in the way he calls me "kid."

There's just something about him.

(The next day)

So it's the next morning and I'm ready to go.

Last night I updated Tory and told her everything. She's been supportive.

I just hate having to let her down.

As I walk out of the hotel room I see a bus pull up.

The door opens and I see Dimitri open the door and Fury's head pop out.

Nick Fury: Come on, kid. We're leaving.

I nod and get on the bus.

(Two hours later)

We're now on our way to Prague and I'm sat at the back of the bus.

I look at pictures of Tory and I on my phone.

I smile as I wish I was with her.

After putting my phone away I look in my bag and see the sunglasses case.

I grab them and open the case up to see the sunglasses inside.

There's a note inside too with a message on it.

Y/N: "For the next Tony Stark, I trust you. Say EDITH."

???: Stand-by fit retinal and biometric scan. Retinal and biometric scan accepted.

Y/N: Hello?

???: Hello, Y/N Drake. I am EDITH. Tony Stark's augmented-reality security and defence system.

Y/N: So, he made you for me?

EDITH: No. But you have access to all Tony's protocols.

Y/N: Cool.

EDITH: Would you like to see what I can do?

EDITH starts to go over many of her functions.

EDITH: EDITH standing for "Even dead, I'm the hero. Tony loved acronyms.

I smile.

Y/N: Yeah, he did.

EDITH: I have access to the entire Stark Global Security network, including multiple defence satellites, as well as back doors to all major telecommunication networks.

Y/N: Cool. So, what else can you do, EDITH?

EDITH: Allow me to show you, Mr. Drake?

I spend the rest of the ride learning more about EDITH.

I never had an A.I before, it's pretty cool.

(Three hours later)

(Czech Republic, Prague)

All of us are now in Prague and we immediately go to an old S.H.I.E.L.D base there to set up.

As everyone is talking I start to space out thinking about how I'd rather be back home with Kate.

It's selfish, but I want to be somewhere else right now.

I start to come back to reality when I hear Fury calling my name.

Nick Fury: Drake, Drake!

I turn.

Y/N: Yeah?

Nick Fury: That thing is gonne be here in a few hours. Are we boring you?

Quentin: He's not bored. He's just thinking about how you needing him for this mission is keeping him away from his girl. I mean you could've called someone else from what I understand.

Nick Fury: No, we need him.

Maria: They still won't evacuate the city.

Nick Fury: Idiots. So, what's the plan, kid?

Y/N: I'll be in the Cathedral Tower, keeping an eye out for the fire monster. When it shows up I'll call it in and then Beck and I...

Quentin: My name is Mysterio.

He and I both smile.

Y/N: That's when Mysterio and I will move in.

Quentin: Y/N, listen to me. The best hope you have, the only hope is to stop here and now. No matter the cost. Keep away from civilians if you can, but most important, keep it away from metal. If it gets too big it'll be able to draw power from the Earth's core. After that, there's no way to stop it.

Nick Fury: So, no pressure.

I look to him.

Y/N: Yeah, no shit.

I sigh.

Y/N: Look, I need a minute. I'll... I'll be back.

I walk out of the room to go up to the roof and get some air.

After everything that happened with Thanos, it feels weird to be dealing with stuff like this.
