(Two days later)

Y/N's P.O.V

So a couple of days ago I got an engagement ring for Kate.

And I plan to propose to her tonight. We're going out later.

Right now I'm out in the city as Spider-Man.

I swing down and see a bank get blasted open.

Y/N: Please don't be Herman again. He just got put away.

I land on the streetlight as the smoke clears.

It's Mark Mardon a.k.a Weather Wizard. 

Y/N: Hey, Mardon. Long time, no see. How ya been?

Weather Wizard: I'm great now, cause now I can kill you.

He fires lighting at me.

I jump into the air and use my webs to get the bags of cash away from him.

Y/N: Sorry, Mark. You can't have this money. Maybe for your next birthday.

Weather Wizard: I'm so sick of you.

He fires balls of ice at me. I dodge the ice balls.

I web zip at him and kick him in the chest, this sends him flying into a wall.

After that I go over to him.

Y/N: You're done, Mardon. Time to go back to jail.

He raises his hands.

Weather Wizard: Okay, you got me.

Just then my spider sense goes off.

Before I could react Mardon hits me with a blast of lightning.

I go flying back and slide across the ground.

I groan.

Y/N: Ow. Okay, that hurt.

I look up and see Mardon coming towards me.

Weather Wizard: You're done, Spider-Man. I'll never have to hear another stupid little joke of yours.

Just then he gets hit by webbing and it ties him up.

Y/N: What the...?

I look over and see someone wearing a red and black spider suit.

A suit I made for Ben.

But the blue hoodie is new.

Ben: Hey, Spidey.

He comes over and helps me up.

Y/N: Holy shit. You're back?

Ben: Told you I would be.

We look over to see Mardon break free.

Weather Wizard: Really? Another Spider? Isn't two of you enough?

Ben: The name's Scarlet Spider.

Weather Wizard: Well, at least Spider-Man won't have to die alone.

He fires ice balls at us and we both dodge the attacks.

Ben and I web zip forward. We then both punch him in the face.

He falls down and is unconscious.

Y/N: Scarlet, do what I do.

He and I use our webs to web Mardon to the ground.

We then high five.

Ben: Well, that was fun.

Y/N: Yeah. Thanks for the help, man.

Ben: Anytime, bro.

After that we leave to let the cops deal with Weather Wizard.

(Fifteen minutes later)

Ben and I are sat on a rooftop eating a pizza together.

Y/N: It's good to see you again, bro.

Ben: You too. It's good to be back.

Y/N: So, the Scarlet Spider, huh?

Ben: Yeah. As soon as I saw the suit it came to me. I went by the Spider Cave and you weren't there, but Harry and I heard about the robbery. I decided to come and help.

Y/N: Then he gave the suit I made for you.

Ben: Yep, but this hoodie is all mine. He also told me you're gonna propose to Kate.

Y/N: Yep. She's the one, man. I just know it.

Ben: I'm happy for you, Y/N. I hope she says yes.

Y/N: Me too. So, do you maybe wanna be my best man?

Ben: Me?

Y/N: Yeah. If you want to.

Ben: Of course. I'd love to.

He and I hug.

(Two hours later)

I'm now at home and go up to mine and Kate's room.

She's getting ready for our night out. She looks beautiful in the dress she's wearing.

I go up to her and wrap my arms around her.

Kate: Hi.

Y/N: Hey.

Kate: How's Lucky?

Y/N: He's good. He likes Harry. They'll both be fine.

Kate: Good.

Y/N: You look so beautiful. Isn't this the dress...

Kate: The dress I was wearing when we first met? Yes, it is.

I smile.

Y/N: And you look just as beautiful as you did that night.

She smiles.

Kate: Thanks, babe. You've got the tickets for the musical?

Y/N: Yep. There on the bedside table.

Kate: Okay, good. You better get ready though. I don't wanna be late.

Y/N: I will.

I kiss her a couple time, which makes her giggles.

Kate: Y/N, go.

I chuckle.

Y/N: I'm going, I'm going.

I leave to change into my suit.

(Five hours later) 

So, Kate and I have just come back home.

We had dinner after the musical and it's been a great night. And hopefully it'll get better.

I've been so nervous about proposing.

We walk into the livingroom.

Kate goes and sits on the edge of the couch.

Kate: Tonight was amazing, Y/N. Thank you.

Y/N: You're welcome.

Kate: That musical was beautiful.

Y/N: It was. My mum used to take me to see musicals like that as a kid.

Kate: Really?

Y/N: Yeah. It was so great. I remember she used to tell me that musicals and music in general have the power to make anything better.

Kate: Do you believe that?

I pull out my phone.

Y/N: I think it's time to find out.

I play a song and start singing.

(A/N: Play at 0:55. Just imagine it's Y/N singing to Kate.)

After the song finishes I get down on one knee.

Kate covers her mouth.

Y/N: Kate, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I never want to live my life without you. I want to grow old with you. Kate Bishop, will you marry me?

She smiles.

Kate: Yes.

I smile.

Y/N: Yeah?

Kate: Yes, yes. Yes!

I put the ring on her finger and we kiss deeply.

As the kiss gets heated I pick her up and she wraps her legs around me.

I take her to our room and we celebrate our engagement.

I can't believe it. She said yes.
