I was over the moon when Matrix proposed to me over a quiet dinner.

Time does flies when you're having fun.

It has been six months since we declared our relationship as official.

Tita Scythe and Tito Rusty both were amazingly comfortable with me.

Tita would occasionally invite me and Hilary over for dinner and would often bond over shopping and salon.

It was so surreal.

I never thought I could be this happy.

I never dreamt of being in a spotlight.

I smiled and remembered how Kuya Winston would often tease me being such a submissive lady towards Matrix as he didn't expect me to be engaged this fast.

I clutched the long stick tightly and grinned to myself.

I consciously touched my tummy and imagined our soon-to-be kids to be our mini-mes.

According to our friendly neighbor, Patricia, who happened to be an OB-Gynecologist, I will be carrying twins.

The gender will not be possible to know at this early stage of two months.

We still have to wait until I reach my second trimester to know their gender.

I was giddy and excited when I realized that I did gain a lot of weight recently.

My twenty seven inches waistline became thirty one. My jeans and skirts couldn't fit me anymore.

For a two month pregnant woman, it was a pretty big tummy to see.

I just found out about it when my period got delayed.

I didn't realize that I am already an expecting mother!

At first, I couldn't handle the news but when I think of having these bundles of joy, I automatically became emotional.

No one knew about it.

I decided to surprise Matrix some time this week.

I just wished none of the girls will spill it or else, there will be no more surprises.

I laughed when I remembered how the girls accidentally know about it.

"Frenny! May blazer ka ba dyan na pwede kong hiramin?" Sheila barged into my room unannounced while I was struggling to close my pants.

I stumbled and fell on my bed and heard chuckles from Sheila and Madonna.

"Luh! Nu ginagawa mo?" Madonna teased and helped me up.

"Ambisyosa ka! Kelan pa yan naging twenty seven!" Shei exclaimed and pointed on my tummy. "Eh halos ubusin mo mga dala nameng prutas na mangga at mansanas nitong nakaraan!"

"Try your pleated skirt instead." Madonna with a greater fashion sense suggested and I silently followed.

Same thing happened. I couldn't lock the hooks of my skirt.

I sighed and gave up.

I am just on my undies on and my corporate blouse.

"Casual dress will do. " Shei said and watched me pouted.

"Best choice, actually." Madonna added and picked up my black and white outlined dress.

"Ano ba kasi yang ganap sayo? Kelan lang naka high waist pa mga shorts at pantalon mo ha. Kung hindi kita kilala, iisipin kong buntis ka na!" Shei commented and rolled her eyes at me.

I was in the middle of putting on my dress when I stopped.

I looked at her and back to my wall calendar.

It's the fifteenth of September!

I was supposed to have my period by the first week of the month!

My friends stared at me in confusion.

"Uy, loka! Ano yang mukhang yan?!" Shei asked and gaped at me.

"Shocks, Clar! Don't tell me, you guys did the deed already?" Madonna exclaimed.

My face reddened and I wore the dress properly and sat on my bed with mixed emotions this time.

I consciously hugged my tummy.

Should I be excited? Or should I wait a bit more?

"Ambot sa imo, dai!!" Shei squealed and jumped up and down.

"Hindi pa natin sure, guys! We still have fifteen days to wait for before we can consider my period as delayed." I said in a rational voice but I know, deep down, I am excited myself.

"Oh my gosh! Gusto mo bang samahan ka namen ni Maddie at Vale sa OB mo?" Shei offered instantly.

Madonna nodded and hugged my pillows with a huge smile on her face.

"Sige. Sa tingin ko din,kakailanganin ko ng kasama." I said and kept my cool when they screamed in delight.

"Magbihis lang kame. Mabilis lang to." Shei said and they hurried out of my room to their units.

Soon, Shei brought us to her OB-Gyne friend, Dra. Patricia Eusebio, who happened to live above our floor.

We instantly got along and when she did some tests on me, she confirmed about me being on my first trimester.

That was a month, to be exact.

She even suggested for an ultrasound when we found out that I was having twins.

We were more than joyful for the news.

My ever trusted friends even made a bet on their genders and all of us were looking forward for that day.

I wanted to surprise Matrix in his clinic and even connive with the nurse to not tell him I am coming today to spend lunch with him.

I arrived at his clinic thirty minutes before twelve and expecting to greet the nurse I had talked to over the phone earlier.

But, the nurse wasn't in their area.

I just continued to Matrix' clinic after knocking twice and proceeded to opening his door.

But the scene I just entered to was a painful sight.
