Epilogue

We welcomed the Christmas Day with smiles on our faces.

The babies were amazingly energetic and very much awake during the Noche Buena that's why we were able to take a family photo.

Kuya Winston and Ate Thalia had their family picture taken first then Kuya Walnut's turn.

Kuya Walnut brought his wife, Ate Dana and their very cute four year old son, Gilbert Samuel.

We also had our own family picture with our parents minus the other halves and babies.

Just us, their children.

Forgiveness was given by both my brothers and our parents couldn't hide their joy.

The noche buena was indeed a feast.

I still was able to have my own family photo with the triplets.

Matrix showed up and brought gifts for the kids and everyone in the house. He even brought food.

My parents got to know Matrix and had talked to him privately.

What they had talked about, I do not know. I chose not to listen and be privy.

Just like what I always say before, me and Matrix are civil with each other.

Morning came and our parents and Kuya Walnut left to go home.

Matrix held my hand all of a sudden and asked for a couple of minutes to talk.

I just nodded and we moved to the living area.

"Merry Christmas, Clari. " Matrix said. He smiled and continued his words.
"Thank you for giving birth to the triplets and allowing me to spend time with them."

I held my breath as we stared into each other's eyes.

I was too overwhelmed with emotions.

It seems like every minute I spend with him will make me go crazy.

"I know I have been a bad guy. I was not able to man up and explain the things I have done in the past. I deeply and sincerely apologize for that." He started crying.

I felt my eyes did too.

"Maiintindihan ko kung hahanap ka ng iba na magmamahal sa yo. Hindi tulad ng ginawa ko. Pero sana hayaan mo akong bumawi sayo. Mahal pa din kita, Clari. Hindi ko kayang tingnan at tanggapin na may ibang nagpapasaya sayo." His shoulders were shaking as he voiced out his thoughts.

I wiped my tears away and sniffed.

"I still love you, Clari. At hindi na mawawala yun. Please, let me make it up to you." Matrix pleaded and wiped his tears. "One last chance, my temptress. Please."

I looked at him with a million thoughts running around my head.

My heart seems to agree with him.

I hate to admit it but I do feel empty despite being with my family.

My heart will always long for him.

I nodded at him and his adorable orbs shone with tears.

"Thank you for the wonderful chance, Clari! I won't fail this time! " Matrix said and pulled me in to a warm embrace.

I closed my eyes and my heart was filled with so much joy.

"I'll let you rest now. I'll go home for the meantime. I'll see you, then, babe." He said and gave me a kiss on my cheeks before hugging me again.
"I love you, babe."

I couldn't bring out the words so I kissed him on his cheeks too.
"Take care, then."

I closed the door and went to the guestroom.

Six months have passed and the triplets started to crawl and utter small words.

I also started to live with Matrix again and this time, he got us a bigger space where the kids have their own nursery room and a play area.

Our relationship slowly returned to normal.

Matrix is always eager to come home and play with the kids.

He also has been extra sweet to me.

He will automaticaly wake up if one of our kids cry at night and fed them with the formula.

We will alternately take care of them so he can go back to sleep.

Matrix is also fine with my parents although my brothers will often give him a hard time.

The girls, on the other hand, were more than happy to know that we got back again.

I already have our things packed since Tita Scythe requested the triplets to stay with them for a week.

The girls wanted to meet up today and since it has been long since the last time we saw each other was three months ago at Sheila's birthday, I agreed.

We met at our favorite restaurant and ordered our faves.

We left the restaurant at one o' clock and the girls dragged me inside the mall to change into something long.

"Para saan ba to?" I asked frowning.
"Kaninong binyag ba aattendan naten? Puti talaga outfit naten? May production number bang magaganap?" Sunod sunod kong tanong.

"Andame mong ebas, bru! Suotin mo na lang dali!" Sheila exclaimed and left me for a few minutes.

"Tara na girl! Baka malate na tayo!" Madonna said and dragged our arms to the car.

According to her, she borrowed it from her brother for a while.

Their driver drove us somewhere far from the city.

"Bruha to! Asan ang lipstick mo! Ang putla mo oh!" Sheila remarked and I pulled it from my bag and applied it on.

"Happy? Happy?" I asked and snubbed her off.

"Ang galing!" Madonna commented and laughed.

The ride was long and I have slept inside the car.

I woke up to Madonna talking to someone over the phone.

Sheila was standing outside a medieval type of door.

I moved to the car door and opened it up.

Sheila's eyes widened when she saw me and called Madonna's attention.

Madonna nodded and she stepped at the front door.

Sheila gave me a bouquet of flowers to hold and did the same.

I was shocked when I realized it too late.

A soft sounding music filled the air.

I don't know what to call you
I'm too shy to even say hello

Sheila and Madonna marched down the long aisle and left me at the front entrance.

I feel blue
when I don't get to see you

My words remained unspoken
Just like how I've always felt for you

I started to walk down the aisle and familiar faces greeted my sight.

I started tearing up.

I can't believe I'm in my own wedding!

I can't believe I'm finally walking down the aisle!

That's why I chose to make a song
Intended just for you

I marched along the aisle until I reach the only person I want to spend my whole life with.

The wedding ceremony ended with loads of smile painted both on our faces and hearts.

We headed straight to the reception which was all planned by Matrix and the girls.

Me and Matrix and everyone were busy digging in on our food when I noticed Sheila's annoyed expression from where we are sitting on the stage.

"Anong meron kay Shei?" I asked Matrix which he laughed at.

"Basta, babe! Malalaman mo din soon!" Matrix winked and kissed me on the lips.

We heard people hooting for us for another kiss and we did so.

I still can see Sheila's irritation when some guy, who I think is Matrix' friend, whispered something on her ear which Sheila responded with a glare.

I watched amused.

"Kain na babe. Hayaan mo muna sila Shei. Malaki na yan." Matrix said.

I really want to know what's going on between those two!

And Matrix doesn't want to tell me about it!

I should start asking her instead.
