Matrix had been so strangely sweet to me. I almost thought he's courting me.

But I don't want to assume.

I prepared his favorite beefsteak and I was busy plating the dish when I felt his buff arms encircling my waist.

"Ang aga mo naman? Wala ka na namang pasyente?" I asked and did not dared to look at him.

He just smelled my hair and kissed my cheek. "Ang bango naman!" He sniffed and I had to slap his arms because I will move to the counter to place our food.

"Palit lang ako ng damit." He said and walked to his room.

Minutes later, we are enjoying our food.

He was not his usual self as he was quiet today.

"Hey, kamusta ang trabaho?" I asked, trying to erase the silence in the air.

"Ayos lang." He said and continued eating.

I bit on my steak and looked at him while I ate.

"Ako na maglilinis dito. Pahinga ka na muna. " I said when we finished eating.

Matrix nodded and stormed out of the kitchen.

My forehead creased and I decided to wash our dishes instead.

Once done, I went to the couch and opened my phone.

I started browsing the internet to find some new recipe ideas for my next vlog when a certain comment caught my eyes.

Frustrated, I shut my phone off and let it rest on my lap.

I was startled when a message notification from somewhere rang.

I stood up and found Matrix's phone on top of the shelf.

He probably left it there when he came in earlier.

The light from its screen illuminated as two messages arrived.

I returned his phone back to where it was before.

It's not right to read another person's messages without his consent.

I shook my head.

What I'm feeling right now is illegal! I should not act like some nagging wife!

We're not even an item!

I went back to the couch and grabbed my phone.

I'd rather spend my time sleeping than thinking who that random girl was in his life!

I was about to head to my room when he got out of his and probably searched for his phone.

He was yawning and looks like he was exhausted so I let it pass.

He completely ignored me so I silently stomped to my room and closed the door.

I helplessly hugged my pillows as soon as I felt the soft fabric.

Evening came and I heard voices outside my room.

I refrained from making noise when I tiptoed on the way to the door.

"Babe! How long do you want space? I said I'm sorry! Why can't you just take me back!?" A woman's voice cried.

"We are over since you cheated on me, Liz! Leave me alone!" Came Matrix's angry voice.

"Hindi ako aalis dito! Not until you take me again!"
