Dressed in a comfortable black slacks and blue cap-sleeved blouse, I strutted to my cubicle and reviewed the project assigned to me.

Being hired in a food production company is an advantage since I am a big fan of foods especially junk foods during my chill time.

I wanted to promote the brand in the best way I can.

I grabbed the computer mouse and tried browsing the internet to gain some ideas.

Curls, Yellow, Ads were the words I have typed in and various choices appeared on my screen.

"Hey, Shai. Have a break first." Henry Sarmiento, a fellow junior marketing analyst, smiled at me and placed a cup of coffee on my desk.

I met his warm brown eyes and smiled.

I adjusted my eyeglasses, raised the cup to my lips and nodded.

"Geez, thanks, Henry!" I exclaimed and he sat down on his chair beside me.

His work station is located beside mine and we instantly became buddies.

He was hired a year before me and he was kind enough to assist me when I have questions.

"How have you been? How was your first month, so far?" Henry asked and sipped on his coffee.

"You asked as if we're not seated beside each other!" I laughed and he chuckled.

"As if I'm always here. " Henry rolled his eyes.

It was true.

Henry was almost out of the office recently.

He takes his job on a different level and does his research to some extent.

According to him, he loves what he's doing.

I wish I could say the same.

"So far, I have adjusted already. And will now be busy making a marketing ad for our latest food invention." I said to him while flipping on my sketch pad finding some idea on my not-so-artistic side compared to my sister.

"Go for it, Shai." Henry said and threw the cup into his trash bin under his table. "If you need my help, I'm just here and a text away."

"Nice! Our man is making his move!" Came Luis Alejandro's voice behind us.

We both turned around to look at them approaching us.

Luis is with his comrade, Luke Hontiveros.

"Oh, the lulu tandem is here." Henry joked and I laughed with him.

"Lulu my ass." Luke rolled his eyes and slapped Henry's shoulder.

"Let's go out for a drink tonight! I missed you already!" Luis butted in and attempted to hug him but he pushed his heel to escape from Luis' hyper attitude today.

"You are so disgusting, Alejandro! Quit hugging me or else, I'll think you are having perverted thoughts on me." Henry hissed in disgust.

I could only laugh at their banters.

Luke just sat at the window pane behind Henry's cubicle and giggled.

For awhile, I almost forgot I have been staring at Luke for long.

He has this certain charisma that makes you give him a second glance.

To top it too, he is also good-looking with a height of 6'2, I think.

He has this boy-next door look and a brushed up hair.

I shook my head when Alice Newark lightly tapped my shoulder to catch my attention.

"Hello, Ms. Alice. " I greeted her with a smile. "How can I help you?"

"Why so formal? Call me Alice." Alice said and leaned her back on my cubicle.
"Anyway, I have to go out later to benchmark for our latest product. Do you want to come with me? Maybe it would help in your marketing ad." She suggested.

My eyes widened in gratitude.
"Really? I will come with you?? Thaaankkk youuu!" I squealed in delight.

"We'll leave at 1pm this afternoon and I suggest you file an OB so that it won't affect your salary. I'll also inform Madam Kitty that you're coming with me but tell her still alright." Alice said and I nodded. She left me to return to her cubicle and probably to prepare things for later this afternoon.

The boys, Henry, Luke and Luis all fell silent and looked at me.

"What?" I asked in curiosity. "Why are you silent already?"

"Wow! How I wish we have OB later too! Must be nice to go home afterwards!" Luis commented and dropped his shoulders dramatically.

"Stupid! Go work your ass off and stop playing around!" Henry said to him and Luke seconded his unsolicited advice.

"You, twinny. You're ganging up on me with Henry, huh!" Luis said with a tone of pretend disappointment.

"Not cute!" Luke threw him a crumpled piece of paper and Henry and I chuckled in response.

"Alright! Fine! Let's drink later! Now, go! I still have to work!" Henry finally said and both guys grinned at him as if they had won the lottery.

"Alright!! Bingoo! See you later, orb!" Luis exclaimed and grabbed Luke's arm as they hurried outside our department.

Both Luis and Luke are assigned at the IT Department.

They put our creative thoughts into a digital art which make our ads attractive to the eyes of consumers.

"Take care of the liver." I reminded Henry when both guys are out of earshot.

"Yes mam." Henry smiled and patted my head.

"What am I? A dog?" I mumbled but earned a laugh from him. "Happy? Happy??"

"You're so cute!!" Henry said and faced his computer as he started to work.
