Epilogue
I sighed when I saw my daughter snoring loudly beside me.
I am almost forty already yet my eight year old child grew fond over me and my husband's story.
At a young age, I can say that Sherbet Reena has indeed inherited my love for books.
She has this mini-collection of pocketbooks at the far corner of her room.
Apart from that, she was also introduced to podcasts because of her brother, Samuel Reever who is only older by two years, who was fond of music and anything new.
"Moomm?" Reever asked from his sister's door.
"Ssshhh." I put a finger to my lips to hushed him down.
I stood up and patted my son's head.
"Why are you still up?" I asked him and we went to his room that is right beside Sher.
"I can't understand our topic in English class.." Reever said shyly and shook his head in disappointment.
We went to his study table and he sat down on his chair.
I pulled his computer chair and sat beside him.
I started teaching him about figures of speech as a style in fiction literature.
Funny how I can still remember this part in our English subject.
It didn't took me long to teach my son as he was able to get it eventually.
My husband knocked on his door and we turned to look at him.
"Hey, kiddo. Can't sleep?" Reagan asked with a glass of milk in his hand for Reever.
I smiled at his thoughtful gesture for our child.
"No dad. I just didn't get our topic earlier in class so I asked mom to teach me." Reever said before sitting on his bed.
He drank his milk and gave it to us with a satisfied smile on his face.
"You should have asked me instead! I aced that last time!!" Reagan joked and we laughed.
"You already! Hope all!" I rode on his joke with feigned sarcasm and Reever laughed.
"It's almost nine, bud. You still have class tomorrow." Reagan said and patted his son's head.
"Yes, dad. Thanks mom." Reever smiled and kissed my cheek. "Goodnight."
"Good night, Reever." We both said before we close his door and went to our room.
Once we are inside our bedroom, Reagan grabbed me by my waist and I rolled my eyes at him.
"Stop that, Rei-rei. We're too old for that." I said but he seemed oblivious to my protest.
Suddenly, I felt grateful when our phones received Group Chat notifications.
Mams and Sirs of 1st Street
Parkour of Amanda:

Beautiful Amanda:

Matrix' Clarinet:

Missus of Matrix:

No one will watch over the kids.
My boys might sneak out too.
Xander's Leniah:

My eyes are so tired too.
Let's push thru with this on Sat instead!
Leniah's Xander:
Aww..My baby's sleepy.
You heard it guys.
I'm scared that our next child will
Not look like me..
I yawned and let Reagan answer their messages.
I snuggle under the sheets and hugged his waist while he replied to them.
Rei-Rei:
We're not going today.
Wife is fast asleep.
Us, fathers are kind and nice, right?
Parkour of Amanda:
Hahahahah!
Ok fine!
We'll start talking now!
See you on Sat guys!
Matrix' Clarinet:
Talk your face!
Hahahha!
Talk well!
Rei-Rei:
See you on Sat, guys.
Night all!
Reagan must have felt sleepy as well as he yawned and turned off the lamp beside us.
Soon, we fell into a deep and peaceful slumber.
Weekend came and the kids were busy playing with our best buddies children.
Clari and Matrix' triplets were engrossed over an online game with Olivia and So Jin's son.
Our Sherbet and Olivia's daughter were busy with the latest issue of a magazine cover their classmates have seen.
Same goes for Reever and Leni's twin sons as they played on the latest songs of their favorite band over their musical instruments.
Oh, before I forget, me and the four-eyed squad met the Tropang B during our husbands' get together about ten years ago at Anthony's and Duchess' wedding.
Anthony is Toniboy's identical twin brother.
It turned out that our husbands had a prior agreement to live in an exclusive subdivision to seal their deal when they were young.
So, here we all are.
Four eyed squad and Tropang B are now living at the 1st Street of Greenville Subdivision.
I smiled seeing how tight their bonding is as much as we girls are.
I am looking forward on our future lives together.
I'm glad I met these wonderful people who made everything worth it.
I just hope our children will also treasure the friendship they have started as they grow old.
