Dressed in a comfortable black slacks and blue cap-sleeved blouse, I strutted to my cubicle and reviewed the project assigned to me.

Being hired in a food production company is an advantage since I am a big fan of foods especially junk foods during my chill time.

I wanted to promote the brand in the best way I can.

I grabbed the computer mouse and tried browsing the internet to gain some ideas.

Curls, Yellow, Ads were the words I have typed in and various choices appeared on my screen.

"Hey, Shai. Break ka muna." Henry Sarmiento, a fellow junior marketing analyst, smiled at me and placed a cup of coffee on my desk.

I met his warm brown eyes and smiled.

I adjusted my eyeglasses, raised the cup to my lips and nodded.

"Geez, thanks, Henry!" I exclaimed and he sat down on his chair beside me.

His work station is located beside mine and we instantly became buddies.

He was hired a year before me and he was kind enough to assist me when I have questions.

"Kamusta ka naman? How was your first month, so far?" Henry asked and sipped on his coffee.

"Makatanong ka naman parang hindi tayo magkatabi at nagkikita palagi!" I laughed and he chuckled.

"As if naman, palagi akong nandito diba? " Henry rolled his eyes.

It was true.

Henry was almost out of the office recently.

He takes his job on a different level and does his research to some extent.

According to him, he loves what he's doing.

I wish I could say the same.

"Ayun. Nakaka-adjust naman. Eto. Currently busy sa paggawa ng marketing ad for our latest food invention." I said to him while flipping on my sketch pad finding some idea on my not-so-artistic side compared to my sister.

"Push mo yan, Shai." Henry said and threw the cup into his trash bin under his table. "If you need my help, I'm just here and a text away."

"Naks naman ang atabs namen!" Came Luis Alejandro's voice behind us.

We both turned around to look at them approaching us.

Luis is with his comrade, Luke Hontiveros.

"Andyan pala ang tandem ng Lulu." Henry joked and I laughed with him.

"Nye nye. Mama mo Lulu." Luke rolled his eyes and slapped Henry's shoulder.

"Shot naman tayo mamayang gabi, bro! Miss you na!" Luis butted in and attempted to hug him but he pushed his heel to escape from Luis' hyper attitude today.

"Kilabutan ka nga, Alejandro! Tigilan mo kakayakap mo sakin, isipin ko minamanyak mo ko." Henry hissed in disgust.

I could only laugh at their banters.

Luke just sat at the window pane behind Henry's cubicle and giggled.

For awhile, I almost forgot I have been staring at Luke for long.

He has this certain charisma that makes you give him a second glance.

To top it too, he is also good-looking with a height of 6'2, I think.

He has this boy-next door look and a brushed up hair.

I shook my head when Alice Newark lightly tapped my shoulder to catch my attention.

"Hello, Ms. Alice. " I greeted her with a smile. "How can I help you?"

"Pormal talaga? Alice na lang, mamsh." Alice said and leaned her back on my cubicle. "Anyway, I have to go out later to benchmark for our latest product. Do you want to come with me? Baka makatulong din sa paggawa mo ng marketing ad naten." She suggested.

My eyes widened in gratitude.
"Hala.. Talaga po? Isasama mo ko? Thaaankkk youuu!" I squealed in delight.

"We'll leave at 1pm this afternoon and I suggest you file an OB para hindi ka mabawasan sa sahod naten.  Sasabihan ko na din si Madam Kitty na sasama kita but tell her still ha." Alice said and I nodded. She left me to return to her cubicle and probably to prepare things for later this afternoon.

The boys, Henry, Luke and Luis all fell silent and looked at me.

"Ano?" I asked in curiosity. "Bakit natahimik kayo?"

"Naks naman! Sana all, may OB mamayang hapon! Sarap umuwi agad pagkatapos!" Luis commented and dropped his shoulders dramatically.

"Sira! Magtrabaho ka kasi! Hindi puro papogi!" Henry said to him and Luke seconded his unsolicited advice.

"Ikaw, kambal ah. Kumakampi ka na kay Papi Henry!" Luis said with a tone of pretend disappointment.

"Di bagay, pre!" Luke threw him a crumpled piece of paper and Henry and I chuckled in response.

"Oo na. Shot tayo maya. Now, tsupi! Magsitrabaho nga kayo!" Henry finally said and both guys grinned at him as if they had won the lottery.

"Ayuuun! Bingoo! See you later, orb!" Luis exclaimed and grabbed Luke's arm as they hurried outside our department.

Both Luis and Luke are assigned at the IT Department.

They put our creative thoughts into a digital art which make our ads attractive to the eyes of consumers.

"Ingatan ang atay." I reminded Henry when both guys are out of earshot.

"Yes, Ma'am." Henry smiled and patted my head.

"Luh, ano ako? Aso?" I mumbled but earned a laugh from him. "Happy? Happy?"

"Ang cute mo!" Henry said and faced his computer as he started to work.
