                            Arashi's Pov

Thank goodness for my quick healing! I am as good as new.  I am walking around when I notice Naruto and some kids. I sigh and sit in a tree. I see one of the kids run into some people from the sand village. I forgot it is almost time for the Chunin exams. They end up getting into a fight which is a pain. Sasuke who is on a lower branch than me throws a rock at the guy's wrist making him drop the kid. When the guy starts getting mad at Sasuke I jump down and say,"I don't take kindly to people threatening my friends." I stare him down and he attempts to punch  me but I grab his fist. "You wanna push me even more?" Suddenly I hear the other guys I noticed in the tree say,"Kankuro stop it you're an embarrassment to our village." The guy has a gourd and uses sand to get onto the ground. Impressive. They talk about the Chunin  exams a little since Sakura somehow knows nothing about it. Sasuke asks,"What is your name?" The girl thinks its her but he says,"The one with the gourd." The guy answers,"Gaara of the Desert. I'm also interested in you, your names?" Sasuke replies,"Uchiha Sasuke." I don't say anything until Gaara asks,"And you red head?" I sigh and say,"Arashi." They walk off after Naruto asks what about him and Gaara flat out denies him. I notice as we leave some sound ninja show up and I say,"Interesting."

The next morning we wait at the bridge for Kakashi who as usual makes us wait. I woke up early to get ready so I didn't  end up like Sakura who didn't blow dry her hair or Naruto who didn't wash his face or brush his teeth. I ended up bringing some snacks with me that I start eating and I give Sasuke some when he asks if he can have some. Kakashi  finally shows up and says,"This is sudden but I have nominated you guys for the Chunin exams." He then gives us the slips of paper and Naruto hugs him. I say,"Thank you sensei for this opportunity." Kakashi continues,"Though this is just a nomination, whoever who wish to take it should sign those papers and turn them in at room 301 by four pm tomorrow." I give Kakashi some of my snacks. We both leave at this point and I start reading more of make out paradise.

The next day I wake up early and do my usual getting ready routine and go ahead and get my weapons on me just in case. I don't know what is to come after all. I make myself some snacks as usual and get on my way. I end up being first and when Naruto comes we enter. First thing I notice is that there is a genjutsu that is hiding the fact that it is room 201 not 301. Sasuke makes a comment on it and how everyone but Naruto must've seen in and I nod but I can tell that Sakura didn't notice it. The guys attack us but a guy that has on a fully green suit stops it. He starts flirting with Sakura but she turns away from him. At this point I start to head upstairs when a guy on the other guy's team asks for Sasuke's and my name. Sasuke replies with a smart alec response. I continue up the stairs as Sasuke is asked to fight. He introduces himself as Rock Lee. At this point I am at the next floor and wait for the rest.

After a while they finally show up and as we continued to the room we notice Kakashi. He than talks about the exam mentioning that since the exam is only taken in groups of three that I would be in a team by myself. After that we enter the room. I end up hiding and masking my presence so Ino can't sense me. She instead jumps on Sasuke. Turns out that every one of the genin rookies are taking the exam. Someone named Kabuto starts getting after them and I show myself. The guy keeps talking about the exam but when he starts talking about his nin-info cards I pay attention. Sasuke asks for information on Gaara and Lee. Naruto ends up yelling so I sit in the corner. The sound ninja from earlier come and attack Kabuto breaking his glasses and making him throw up. I say,"Sound waves. They used sound which is why while he dodged the attack his glasses broke and he threw up."

Our first test is a writing test so I go up and grab my seat number. This guy who is the leader of the test explains the rules and everything. Some other ninja are going to be keeping an eye on us. I have figured this out. We need to cheat without being seen. When we begin I flip my test over just to find that I know the answers however the others are going to need to cheat. I quickly write the answers down and  sigh. I lay down and fall asleep. I wake up just as they start to give us the tenth question. He ends up adding more rules to the last question. I must answer question 10 correctly, I refuse to give up my only chance at becoming a ninja above the easy level. Naruto ends up making a big announcement after quite a few left. After a while he congratulates us on passing the first test. Hm the others must be harder.

He goes on talking about the purposes of  the different parts. At the end he wishes us luck. The examiner for the second test comes in through the window. Odd but okay. She says,"You left 27 teams?It was too easy for them. I will cut them in half." The guy says,"They are impressive this year, also there is 28 teams. One person is going through it solo." She says,"How daring." She takes us to the area of our next t est which just so happens to be the Forest of Death. She ends up cutting Naruto's cheek and licking the blood. Weird. This guy with a really long tongue gives her back her kunai. She goes on to explain what will be happening during the test. She also explains the few rules. When we exchange our forms for the scroll I try to be sneaky and not be pointed out but it seems as though they want me to be a target considering the guys yells out,"Wow! This dude is trying all by himself." I am given the Heaven scroll which I quickly hide before I go anywhere. I then go to my assigned gate and get ready to run.

She releases us and I head towards where I think the other half  of our genin team is. I might technically be against them but they still mean a lot to me so I refuse to lose them. I am attacked right off the bat by some people who figured they would go after the weakest one. Hehe little did they know I am one of the best to be alone. Gaara of the sand being the best, I will admit that. I quickly disabled them and found out that  they had the earth scroll. Perfect. I quickly run over to the other part of our genin team. I find them just as they mention having a code word. I sit in the tree above them just waiting for them to either notice me or for them to get into trouble. When I see 'Naruto' and hear him say the password I get ready to attack the person. After they make Sasuke and  Sakura feel fear and imagine their own deaths I get into a better position. I refuse to let him take my teammate. Yeah I know who he is now. Sasuke injures himself to erase the pain. Interesting, stupid but interesting. A snake scares Sasuke because he wasn't  paying attention.

Naruto shows up and says that he forgot the code word as Sasuke expected. Naruto ends up doubting Sasuke because he is being such a coward. The guy summons some snakes and hits Naruto hard enough that he bleeds. I was about to go down but Naruto stops the snake. Naruto ends up getting hit in seal and launched backwards, Sasuke ends up going crazy and attacking Orochimaru head on using his sharigan. When Orochimaru starts talking about wanting Sasuke I jump down silently and hit his head before he can attack Sasuke. "He is like me I refuse to let you take him like you tried to me." I growl and start attacking him with my dual wielding blades. I end up getting him so he flees and I smile a little.

After Orochimaru leaves I walk over to Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto. I kneel down and use medical ninjutsu to heal Naruto some. I only know enough to keep myself and my friends alive in combat.  I sigh seeing that Naruto's Jinchūriki has healed him quite a bit.  I say,"Sleep if you  need it. I will watch over you all. I owe it to you guys." They both nod and fall asleep. Eventually some sand ninjas come along and I stand up. I pull out my swords. At this time Sakura and Sasuke have both woken up. I watch the sand ninjas and prepare for battle seeing that they won't back down. I charge at the main guy and start attacking him, being careful of his jutsus, knowing that he can injure me with sound. Actually I make myself unable to hear with a jutsu so it won't affect me. I attack him as Sasuke and Sakura attack the other two. Once I have finally beat him the girl in their group has Sakura's hair and is restraining her. I go to attack the girl but Sakura cuts her hair. After she is beaten up a little Lee shows up and defends her. After the guys have run off the rest of the rookie teams come and I give the scroll that the other half of my team needed to them. 

We talk with the other rookies for a bit before they leave. I say,"It's time for us to head to the tower. I got my other scroll right before I came here. First we wait until Naruto wakes up." They nod and we sleep keeping watch in shifts. Eventually Naruto wakes up so we head to the tower. We are careful to avoid any traps knowing there is going to be some and we arrive I quickly do my scrolls before the others so ours don't overlap. When I open mine I notice that they are summoning scrolls so I throw them on the ground as Kakashi comes out of the scrolls. I also notice that when the others do the same that Iruka comes out of theirs. Kakashi says,"Just barely in time. Great job protecting them Arashi."He ruffles my hair and I smile underneath my mask. I say,"Thanks." I yawn a little and lean against Kakashi and fall asleep. Sakura says,"I can't believe how strong Arashi is. He protected us and gave up his sleep for our safety."

Eventually it's time for the third exam and Kakashi wakes me up. They congratulate us and mention how we are going to have a preliminary round seeing as so many passed the second exam. The Hokage also explains the reasons behind the exams. This guy comes in and explains the preliminary test for us. He also asks if anyone wants to quit before it begins. However nobody leaves, leaving it at exactly 24 contestants.

(I apologize but seeing as my battle scenes suck I am just going to say the pairs and who wins. Also in this one Lee and Hinata will not be getting seriously injured, I don't like it when that happens. Also instead of using his mark Sasuke actually tricked the guy and so on. I am also going to skip around a lot for the month of waiting. I will have a couple of tidbits but it will for the most part be skipped except for the last day.)

After all of the battles we are given a month to train up and then we  fight in the official matches. I end up asking Kakashi if he will train me and he accepts. Naruto goes off training with Jiraiya. For me the real reason as to why I asked Kakashi if he would train me is because I want to get to know him better. Over the training period Kakashi helped me improve a bunch. I am glad I chose to ask him to train me. Sasuke trains with us as well. There was a couple people killed during the break though. In the end all of us got a lot stronger.

(Warning slightly steamy, will skip the smut, if you guys want me to add it in I will post another chapter with a warning label. You do not need to read this if you truly wish, I will sum it up at the end with the important parts.)

On the  second to the last day Kakashi asks me if I could come over to his house and I agree. When I get there I knock and he answers rather quickly. I blush under my mask when I see that he has no shirt on. I yawn a little when I arrive so Kakashi lets me stay the night. As I get ready to go to sleep I realize that I need to ask Kakashi something after already getting ready for bed by stripping into my boxers, leaving my mask and headband on. I put my pants back on and walk over to his room and knock before entering to give him warning. When I see him I blush hard. He has just boxers on and nothing else. He looks so hot. heh yeah I like older guys. He  is smirking because he was caught in his bed attire. He says,"Well....... What did you come in here for?" I reply,"I came in here to ask a question..." He gets up and pushes me onto his bed. I gasp as he does so and he says,"Tell me what it is before I devour you." I blush even harder and say,"It can wait..." He smirks more and crawls over me. He takes off my mask and my headband and throws them onto the ground. He kisses me deeply. He kisses my scars lightly as he goes down and he take off my pants and boxers, throwing them onto the ground. He strips off his own boxers. We end up having sex

(Steam is over, basically Kakashi had him stay over, he runs into an almost naked Kakashi and they end up having you know what)

When I wake up I look over and see Kakashi awake. I ask him,"hey, does this mean we are in a relationship or am I just a one night stand?" He hugs me and says,"I would like it if we were an official couple." I nod and snuggle into him. I kiss him lightly and he asks me,"Will you be my boyfriend?" I nod and kiss him again. We spend the rest of our day like this. We also go shopping and do other things. I end up staying over a this place again.

The next day we first stop by my place so I can change into new clothes and we go to the arena. once there we sit down and I notice that my butt is sore and I look at Kakashi with pain in my eyes. His widen slightly before he mouths,'Sorry. Good luck' I nod to him and pay attention to what is going on. We all are in the center on the arena as the exam is explained. We are all told to go to the waiting room as Naruto and Neji begin their fight.

Suddenly in the middle of Sasuke and Gaara's match a smoke bomb goes off in the Kages' box and  Kabuto uses genjutsu to put everyone to sleep. However because of something that happened a long time ago I can't be put into a genjutsu. The minute the smoke bomb goes off I run towards the Hokage. I end up right next to the so called Kazekage without being seen. When he calls the Hokage his sensei I figure out that it's Orochimaru. The moment he says that the Third is going to die I leap into action. I cut off his sense so that way the Hokage can get free. I say,"You might have been the Hokage's student but I refuse to let anyone I care about let alone the one who let me come here and become a ninja die even at the cost of my life. I will protect him until he tells me not to. I refuse to do anything less Orochimaru." The Hokage frees himself and I tell him,"We fight together until the last moment." He agrees and we fight Orochimaru. 

Just as he is about to summon the dead to fight I run at him with my two swords towards his back and ram into him, forcing him to stop the jutsu. I glare at him. I say,"You will not bring about the death of the Hokage. I refuse to let you." All three of us fight, 2 against 1. Both the Hokage and I manage to seal Orochimaru's arms so he can't use jutsus and then we release ourselves from the barriers. Orochimaru, realizing he has no chance at beating us retreats with his forces. Seeing as how their ally is retreating the Sand ninjas retreat as well. After the fight with Orochimaru both the Hokage and I fall to our knees as we are exhausted and have a lot of injuries. I smile weakly at the Hokage. 

The Hokage says,"I think, it's time for me to pass on being Hokage. I am not sure who to pass it in to though. I would probably choose you but you are too young. Besides, I'm sure  you have some other place you wish to help." I grin under my mask and reply,"I simply wish to be one of those people who can protect all of those they care about. I am going to try to get to the point where I am trusted in all of the lands so I can accomplish my goal. I am also going to try to unite the lands as best as I can, even if it means that I rarely get to see them." As my body heals itself I slowly get up. I say,"You know, I don't think the sand realized that Orochimaru wasn't their true Hokage. I think I am going to go and see someone. Don't worry, if something happens I will come back quickly. Oh and tell Kakashi I just went on an errand." I leave the Hokage with some of the leaf ninja and I go off in search of Gaara.

When I find Gaara and the others I say,"I hope you realize that the person who was pretending to be your Kazekage actually killed him. And I do know that he is the person who birthed you, however he doesn't deserve that title. Also even though you have Shukaku inside of you, you still have the capability of being a good friend. If you are willing, I can be your friend. You seem like you need it, I should know how you feel, my clan except for my immediate family hated me and only used me as a weapon too. Hell they sent assassins after me the moment I showed interest in becoming a ninja which I was 3 at the time. My clan killed my family and so I killed them in return. I know how you feel, but one point made the difference between me becoming an insane killer, I had someone to show that they care about me. If you look around you, you will find that you have 2 people who care about you already. I can see it myself."

Gaara turns from where he is holding Sakura. I say,"Gaara, Shukaku, both of you, you're just lonely aren't you. You both have never had that comforting relationship that you can just relax with. Don't worry, you aren't alone in this pain. I might not feel it all of the time, but I know that the one I host, Matatabi feels that loneliness all the time. And I honestly believe the reasoning for them feeling this is because they don't have their friends around. Why don't you let me show you guys how it feels to not be lonely?" Gaara calms down and nods. I walk over to him and lightly hug him. He says,"I can't promise I won't hurt you." I tell him,"Well I won't give up on you" We shake hands in agreement before he and his siblings start to leave. I add on,"And you Temari and Kankuro, you better take care of him." they nod and leave.
