Our mission is  a stupid one. Catching a runaway cat. Everyone gets into their spots but I just walk up to the cat and it runs into my arms. I notice the ribbon on it's left ear and say,"Target captured. Mission complete." We all head back and the owner of the cat squishes the cat. No wonder it ran away. When we are about to be given more D rank missions Naruto yells about how he wants a harder mission and as the Hokage and other try to discipline him he just talks about ramen.  In the end the Hokage gives us a C rank mission to protect someone. When he comes in I say playfully,"Tazuna of course, why must we be protecting this drunk?" I run up to him and hug him. He hugs me back ruffling my hair. Tazuna than looks at my teammates and says,"They're all a bunch of super brats especially the shortest one with a weird face."

I am actually the tallest of the group except for Kakashi so I don't have to worry about it. Naruto gets mad when he realizes that Tazuna is  talking about him and Kakashi says,"What its the point in killing the one we are supposed  to protect?" Tazuna then announces,"I expect you to provide me super protection until I get home and complete the bridge. I am the super expert bridge builder Tazuna." I say,"And to me silly drunk." I chuckle after I say that. We are allowed to go and get our things and I put my dual wielding swords on my back and plenty of shuriken and kunais on me. I put the rest in a scroll and put it in my scroll holder with other scrolls. Than I put my clothes in another and do the same thing. I grab a small bag and put a first aid kit in it. I also fill it up with any other necessity. I grab a special bag of mine that can keep any food weightless and fresh and put some food in there in case I decide to just stay in the forest. I tie it to my belt loops and teleport to where we are to meet. I am one of the first but Kakashi and Tazuna are there before me. I pull out some snacks I made and let them have some as we wait. We are eating them as everyone else comes. I give Sasuke some but nobody else. We munch on them until Naruto shows up and after them yelling about Kakashi I say,"He has been here the entire time. He was just hidden."

Naruto gets all excited and Tazuna says,"I think the only ones I can trust to protect me is Arashi and the Jounin here." Sasuke asks,"Why Arashi?" He answers,"because I know he will risk his life for me if it became me or him. And this is because I pretty much raised him until he was the age to get into the academy." I nod at what he says and smile but nobody can see it because it's under my mask. Sakura asks,"Hey Arashi, why do you wear your headband and a mask like Kakashi-sensei?" I chuckle and answer,"You are going to have to find out." I sigh and notice a water puddle. I motion it to sensei and he nods. He goes to the back and makes a clone of himself in the back and hides I do the same just I hide near Tazuna because I already know about the problems of their place.

Some ninja wrap chain around Kakashi's clone and tear it in half. They do the same thing to mine and then go for Tazuna. Right before they can hit Naruto I jump down and kick them away right into some trees. Kakashi grabs one just as it goes for Tazuna and I grab the other. we tie them up. I look down at my ankle and notice i got cut by their claws with poison on them and I stumble a little. I ask,"Can someone please help me? I pull out my first aid kit and Kakashi comes over to help me. As he does he ends up talking a lot about the mission and such. I get the poison out of me and wrap my ankle and say,"I refuse to leave Tazuna. His family is the only family I have left. I don't care if I die, I must protect them at all costs even at my life. They took me in when I was weak and after my original family died. I will not let another person I hold dear to me die again!" 

I actually can't walk normally so I kinda hobble. I am fine enough to fight if needed. We get into a boat where I rest my ankle a little. Naruto ends up yelling and I smack him. The guide says,"Quiet we are hiding from Gatou not using the engines." they end up discussing the mission and I lean against Tazuna. I end up falling asleep from recovering from the poison. When we arrive I can tell people are trying to wake me up but I don't wake. I am already in deep sleep. Someone picks me up and we head to Tazuna's place. I am accidentally dropped so I wake up in time to see that Zabuza has arrived. I actually have no quarrel with him or Haku. Yeah I know that they work together.

Anyway I actually kinda like them a little. I never mentioned this but they actually helped me get over the loss of my family. I say,"Please don't kill him.." I don't think anyone hears me. I sigh and get up just as Zabuza heads to Tazuna I run over and block his strike. I say,"I might like you Zabuza but Tazuna took me in as family, I refuse to let you kill him. And I can see through your mist, let's say I have grown used to it." It ends up being a clone but Kakashi has the other one. That one ends up being a fake as well. The real Zabuza hits Kakashi into the water.  He then traps Kakashi in a water prison. He summons a clone to take the rest of us. He talks about how we aren't an actual ninja until we are listed in his book and I say,"Yeah they might not be but I am."

I have had my name in that book of his since i was a kid. I killed all of the ones that killed my family and my clan. And by doing so I ended up killing more than a few. I leave getting Zabuza to everyone else. I will protect Tazuna even if I have to kill people I have grown close to. Naruto comes up with a plan and tells it to Sasuke. They all ramble on. Sasuke ends up being trapped and Naruto uses his clones to force him off. Sasuke sends a huge shuriken at Zabuza with another one in it's shadow that happens to be Naruto. Naruto sends a kunai at Zabuza forcing his to break the water prison. Kakashi than stops Zabuza from kitting Naruto. Kakashi imitates Zabuza's movements until he gets faster and 'predicts' that Zabuza is going to die but I know that Haku is going to save him. Haku 'kills' Zabuza and takes him away. After that point I pass out because my body needed more rest.

When I wake up I notice that I am right beside Kakashi in a bed and blush. Luckily my blush is hidden by my mask and so he doesn't notice it when he wakes up. I get up and walk down to the kitchen as everyone talks with Kakashi. I go back when I hear them talking about Haku. I say,"You guys are right. The hunter-nin who I will not name didn't kill Zabuza because they are working together. Also next time we face them please don't kill them, they helped me before I got here." I nod having said my piece go back and continue cooking. As Inari comes by I tell him,"Food is ready go tell the others." he nods and gives me a hug before leaving. I pack up enough for all 5 of  us on team 7 and leave  the rest for the others. I know Kakashi is going to have us train. I put the food for team 7 in my bag and wait for the rest who soon come out. When they do I say,"I am bringing food with us for lunch." Kakashi and Sasuke literally drool a little.

Kakashi brings us all out into the forest and explains what we are going to be doing. Naruto ends up needing Sakura to explain about Chakra. That idiot. Sasuke mentions about how we can already use jutsus and Kakashi says,"Nope!! You guys aren't using Chakra properly." He than announces that we are going to be using tree climbing to work on our usage of Chakra. Everyone except me questions it until he says we are doing it without our hands. He throws us kunais to mark our progress and doubts that we can make it first try. When he says that I leave the kunai and start walking up the tallest tree. "Easy. Been doing this since I could use Chakra. My father taught me." I sit on the highest branch for a bit and once Sakura makes it I jump down landing perfectly. I than go ahead and eat my lunch with Kakashi as Sakura tries to help the other two. Eventually Kakashi sends Sakura and I to guard Tazuna. 

While at the bridge a guy doesn't want to work on it any more so I say,"Tazuna, I'll help in replacement. I don't care if it costs me my life I will make things better here." It ends up being time to leave and when I see a little kid begging I say,"Share this with the others okay?" I give him some extra food that I made along with my food. When Sakura asks why I did that I answer."Because they need it more than I do. They have lived this way their entire life. They deserve something nice." When we get back I cook dinner and Naruto and Sasuke eat too much. They eat so much that they end up throwing up.I say,"You  guys wasted food that was made to help build your strength." When they start talking about Inari's father I say,"He was like a second father to me. I see Inari as my little brother now and it's because of him that I got this second chance at a family. What happened to him caused Inari to become fearful of what would happen when I became a ninja." I sigh and excuse myself. I go into the room Kakashi and I are sharing.

I cry all alone remembering Kaiza and everything he did for me. I remove my headband and mask revealing the scars on my face. Kaiza came along  and brought me back where I was helped and I didn't die from the wounds. I am still thankful for what he did for me because otherwise I wouldn't be here today. After being told the story of Kaiza Kakashi comes back upstairs and I quickly cover my eye up and pull my mask back up. I am not able to stop crying though and Kakashi pulls me into a hug and says,"Go ahead and cry. I won't judge." I continue crying and I say,"Kaiza wasn't just like a father to be, he was also my savior. After defeating all of the people who killed my family I was almost dead when Kaiza came along. He took me here where Tsunami helped patch me up. He didn't send me back out there after I was healed up. Instead him and this family let me stay here. Kaiza was the one who encouraged me to keep trying to become a ninja." Kakashi stays silent through all this just holding me as I cry. I soon stop crying and thank him. We then go to sleep. I end up training on my own when not helping with the bridge.

One day Naruto and Sasuke come back having finally made it to the top and Inari start yelling at us. Once he is done yelling and Naruto yells back he goes outside and so I follow  him. I say,"Naruto didn't mean it like that. He has had a worse past than both of us. He is kinda like Kaiza. He knows what true strength is. Much as he tries not to he also cares about you. Just like Sasuke and myself he is probably the one person who can relate to you the most. So next time you see him remember this." I go back inside. I make us food for tomorrow and go to sleep.

The next day Sasuke joins us but Naruto exhausted his body too much so he is staying behind. When we head to the bridge we find everyone knocked out. Zabuza is back. He  creates clones around us but Sasuke gets rid of them all. Haku faces Sasuke after he does so. Sakura protects Tazuna. I say,"I won't let you. I refuse to let you kill someone beloved to be! I would prefer to not kill either of you but if it comes down to it I will if you keep targeting Tazuna!" When Sasuke starts beating Haku Kakashi says," I can't have you underestimating my team by calling the 'brats' Sasuke is one of the best rookies in the Leaf Village. Sakura is the brightest in the Village. Arashi is the most determined in the Village. And the other one is The show-off hyper-active #1 loudest ninja in the Village." I smirk at his little speech. Haku summons his mirrors and I glare at Zabuza. I say,"I better not regret this. You guys better take my place protecting Tazuna, if I come out and he is hurt I will not restrain myself." I run into the Haku's mirror trap. "I refuse to let anyone be the ones hurt if I can be there instead." When the needles start I smirk and deflect them. "I guess I should use both if you are going to do this." I pull out my dual wielding swords. Just by using them I can feel myself getting faster.

Naruto finally shows up but gives a speech. That idiot joins us in the mirror trap. Sasuke yells at him for coming in as well. Sasuke attempts to use fireball but it didn't even dent the mirrors, not hot enough. I know what is but I have to get angry to use it. Haku throws more sinbon needles and I deflect them. Naruto tries to use clones to destroy them but fails. Haku sends out more needles and again I deflect them however one caught me in the side. I feel a little pain but he didn't do anything else to me. However one thing that happens is that Sasuke starts to use his sharingan. I keep deflecting but as I do so I get hit more and more. Haku aims a hit for Naruto which I wasn't able to get over to him in time but Sasuke takes it. Some still hits Naruto though. I was doing my best and yet... My eyes show my anger. I growl and say,"I will not stand for this. Even if he is not dead he is too close to it. I refuse to let another person die because I wasn't fast or strong enough!" 

My body erupts in blue chakra that looks like flames. I don't feel it though. I charge forward at the mirrors and Haku. I refuse to kill Haku but that doesn't mean I won't hurt him. My wounds start healing and the minute I get close to a mirror it melts. "I refuse. Another I care about will not die under my watch even if I have to die for it to be so!" I run and destroy all of his mirrors. I punch Haku enough that his masks crumbles and he flies back. I then call down. "Much as I would love to I care about you as well Haku. Same with Zabuza. Also with what I am about to do don't worry, I will save Zabuza too. Neither of you will die just don't you dare hurt any of my teammates." 

I run toward Zabuza and Kakashi. I have improved healing still, I refuse to see either of them die. I run right in between them as Kakashi runs up to Zabuza and he hits me instead. After he realizes what happened I say,"Stop this...I care about all of you I don't want to see anyone here die. Just kill Gatou instead. I fall to my knees and Zabuza catches me. I add on,"Zabuza, Haku, please stop this. I don't want you guys to die." I cough out some blood and feel tears fall on me. "Heh. I'm not dead. I don't plan on dying yet. Besides I do have healing from my bloodline. Just don't die otherwise I will never forgive you." I take my hand and with my special being and my bloodline's healing I get myself so I won't die.

Zabuza nods. He says,"As Arashi wishes I won't fight anymore but only because I care for him." Kakashi nods as well I say,"Also... Sasuke isn't dead. But please if you must fight, fight Gatou, free this place and everyone here."They all nod and charge at Gatou. When they all did so Zabuza killed Gatou the others started to come for them but the citizens and clones scared them off. When that happens I slowly sit up smiling. "Glad you guys stopped." They smile back at  me and Zabuza says,"Because of you I am going to live in the woods with Haku. We don't want to fight anymore." I smile at them. "I'm.... glad."  Afterwards Kakashi picks me up and we head back to Tazuna's. We stay there until I am fit to travel and then we say our goodbyes. I still can't walk very well so embarrassingly Kakashi has to carry me back.Though they did finish the bridge which was awesome.

When we get back Kakashi takes me to the hospital and than goes and the the Hokage everything that happened. When they are done checking me the doctors tell me,"You can go home but you are on bed rest for at least a week." I nod and sigh. I have nobody to go home to so how can I do anything? Kakashi comes by after he tells the Hokage and asks,"So what did they say?" I grumble,"I can go home but I am on bed rest for  a week. I don't know how I can go home than because I have nobody to take care of me." He chuckles and picks me up. He says,"Looks like you are staying at my place." I nod and he takes me there.
