"I need your help."

"Why me? I'm not as powerful as you are. You can summon darkness and kill people with it!"

"I am fully aware of that. But you are prone to stubbornness, insubordination, recklessness, retaliation, escaping death, pissing off enemies, and injuries, so this is the perfect job for you."

"I don't follow."

"It's complicated. But I need you to do a job for me. You're supposed to save someone and bring them back to their friends."

"Sounds simple enough. Any catches?"

"Unfortunately, there's a lot. For one, it's set in space in a different reality - one where we probably don't exist."

"Okay."

"But you cannot let anyone know that you are there, other than your mission. You have to avoid everyone that you can."

"And if I don't?"

"Silence them."

"Neat!"

"And...?"

"And?!"

"If you fail.... Everyone on your world will forget that you exist. Memories will be destroyed and you will be banished forever, forcing you to find a new world to live in."

"Don't worry about me. Who do I save?"

"His name is.... Takashi Shirogane."

"Wha-"

"You must go now. Chaol senses my presence, and if he realizes what happened he will kill us. Go, and don't look back."

"Alright.... Goodbye Alicia."
