Trapped by Fear (Story)
Reina: Here's another story beginning based on a conversation I had with someone on wifi interference.
Satsu
My head was throbbing. I felt my pulse pounding on my head, trying in vain to escape. I slowly brought a hand up to my temple and rubbed it, causing my headache to fade away. My eyes slowly opened, but they shut instantly. I waited a few seconds before trying again, and was able to keep them open successfully this time. The room was dimly lit, making it hard for me to see the other side of the room.
I slowly got up, and then remembered that I was with my mother before someone broke into our house and grabbed me.
"F***!" I yelled as my hands scrambled to my pocket. I whipped my phone out and attempted to dial 911. However, the call didn't go through.
"What madness is this?" I asked.
"Oh, it's not madness," a voice behind me stated.
I whipped around to see a woman in a trench coat standing in an elevator. She stepped out and smiled. "Hello, Satsu."
"Where am I?" I yelled.
"In our facility," she replied. "You just happen to be in one of the training rooms." She moved to her right, and suddenly the lights were brighter, blinding me. After a few seconds, I opened them to see that I really was in a training room, surrounded by mirrors.
"What do you want from me?" I hiss in annoyance.
"Lots of stuff. Bur first I have to take you to the boss."
I crossed my arms and looked away. "I won't go with you."
"That's a shame Satsu. I guess that means that Tatsu loses her life..."
"TATSU'S HERE AS WELL?!?!?" I yelled.
The woman smiled evilly. "Yes.... Poor girl, killed because her sister refused to save her...."
I hissed and sighed. "I'll follow you."
As I followed the woman to the elevator, my old life as Satsu ended.
I would now be a prisoner.
Reina: Yes, I just noticed I have sister characters named Satsu and Tatsu....
Also, I thought about using the name Katie, bur I never actually used Satsu in a story.
As for wifi interference.... Concrete and elevators have the highest level of interference, while glass, open air and wood have the lowest levels of interference. Mirrors reflect the signal back to you if you stand in front of them. So if you're in an underground facility made of concrete and mirrors, and the only way out is an elevator, then the signal is dead, and you are screwed.
