Reina: Now I finally have a story for this title.

1. Disappearance

Ayano

The alarm went off, waking me from my dream. I growled and hit it, hoping that it would turn off. When I failed, I smacked it, which finally shut that accursed sound off.

"Ugh.... Let me sleep in," I murmured.

I glanced at the alarm clock. 8:00.

It then hit me.

Today is Monday.

Which means....

School.

"F***!" I yelled as I scrambled out of bed, falling onto the floor. I scrambled to my closet and threw on my uniform. I dashed out the door, grabbing a piece of toast as I hopped onto my bike, pedaling like hell was chasing me. I couldn't afford to be late.

I parked my bike and dashed to class. It was 8:20.... Class started in ten minutes.

I ran into the class, hoping that Fuka-sensei wouldn't scold me for running in like this. Upon opening the doors, I dashed to my seat and sat down.

No one scolded me. In fact, the classroom was empty.

I didn't really care for anyone but Senpai - however, I was slightly unnerved. It was not normal for the classroom to be empty.

8:30 passed....

Then 9:00 passed....

At 9:45, I pushed my chair back and got up. I had to see if anyone else was here.

I scourged the halls and poked my head in every room. It wasn't until I poked my head in one of the upper classrooms that I found someone.

Senpai.

He looked at me. After a few seconds, I closed the door.

Nope.

Senpai opened the door. "Ayano?"

I blinked. Too late to keep up my facade of a shy school girl.

"How do you know my name?"

"Kokona mentioned that you were giving everyone free food."

Oh.

"Do you know what happened here?" I asked him.

He shook his head. "You?"

I shook my head as well. Part of me was excited that Senpai and I were the last ones left. The other part was confused.

"Let's check the occult club..." I replied.

Senpai followed me as we ran to the Occult Club. Bursting through its doors, we both froze.

A creature made of darkness stood there with a katana and a dagger that dripping a purple fluid. Upon seeing us, it disappeared, dropping the dagger and katana.

"Did you see that?" Senpai asked.

"I think so..."

What was happening to me? I normally did not feel emotions.... Now I was overwhelmed with fear.

I walked over to the katana and picked it up. There wasn't any blood... Unless it had been cleaned....

Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw Senpai pick up the dagger and aim it towards the skull... Like he was going to put it in.

Something bad was going to happen.

"Taro-senpai! Don't!" I yelled as I stretched my arm out to stop him. I grabbed his shoulder as the dagger was placed in, pulling us from this world into another.
