The Ballet of Sorrow (Ballet Dancer Laslow x Ballerina! Reader)
Reina: I am really testing Wattpad's limits with titles right now. I wonder how much of it has to be cut out....
Anyway, another reader insert fic that I have designed but not used.
"Ready to go, (F/N)?" Your friend Leila Norn asks as changes into
You shake your head. "Not yet. I want to get a few dance moves in."
Your other friend Aerona de Teivel rolls her eyes as she puts her shoes away. "Seriously? You always say that even though you are the best in the Hoshido company."
"I want to surpass Takumi," you reply.
"Takumi doesn't dance," Aerona muttered.
"He does," you insist. "He played the male role on Swan Lake."
"Oh yeah," Aerona muttered. "I forgot about that."
You nod. "Yeah. He doesn't want people to know that he secretly dances."
Aerona nodded in understanding. Leila checks her phone after putting on her jacket. "Well (F/N), Aerona and I are going to get lunch in an hour. Want to come?"
"Sure. Just need to land my last landing," you say. You walk out the changing room and wave goodbye to your friends, heading out to the stage to practice once more. You walked to the center and took in a deep breath. Exhaling, you gracefully raise your arms and begin to dance. You softly hum to match your steps with a beat.
"You are the ocean's gray waves.... Destined to seek life beyond the shore...."
You pirouetted slowly and focused on your balance. You swore you heard clapping, but brushed it off as your imagination.
The shriek you heard right after was not imaginary.
Your eyes snap open as you found yourself falling through the stage. You scream as you fall, and you hit the ground. You screech as one of your hands hit the floor, and soon after, some beams fell on your left leg.
"Help me!" You scream, hoping that Aerona or Leila would hear you, but then you realized that they had probably left, crushing your hopes.
"Hang in there!" A voice yelled from above the stage.
You look up to see who said that, but you couldn't see anyone. After a few minutes, your hopes fell as the throbbing continued.
Just then, the beams were lifted up, allowing you to weakly pull your leg out. Once that was done, someone picked you up and began to run.
"Don't worry milady!" He yelled. "We'll get you to the hospital!"
You looked up at your rescuer and stared at him in shock. No way, you think.
It was Laslow, the best dance of the Nohr Company.... And your rival.
Reina: That was short.... But it set everything up.
Here's the summary:
(Y/N) was the most accomplished dancer of the Hoshido company. Every performance was perfect, and critics raved about her talent.
Until the day that stage gave out beneath you and you twisted your ankle.
You were very lucky that the rival ballet dancer Laslow of Nohr was able to take you to the hospital.
But a big question is posed.
Who would sabotage your dance? The stage was rigged....

Reina: So, shall I do another chapter of "Vampire Twins on a Moonlit Night" or "Daughter of Red"?
