"It wasn't me," you whisper.

The rain slowly hit the window, reminding you that you were alone in your cell. No one could hear you.

"It wasn't me."

The chains attached to your hand shifted as your hands move up your face. They were meant to keep you in check - not that you were a problem. You didn't do anything to aggravate the guards - yet the chains remained as a painful reminder.

"It wasn't me... I'm innocent."

The only company you had were the shadows that danced in the room, growing dimer as the storm rolled in.

"It wasn't me.... "

Silence.

"It wasn't me."

The wind howled outside.

"It wasn't me."

Belle Reeve - that's where all high-profiled scum were kept. It was off the books - not a single civilian knew about it.

It was also your new home for the rest of your life.

"It wasn't me."

You were at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Not that the judge or jury cared.

And you had to pay for it.

"It wasn't me."

There was no way that you had done it.

You didn't have the murder weapon. The killer ran off with it....

While you were holding the corpse of Emilia - your best friend.

Her death was what convicted you.

"It wasn't me."

"It wasn't me."

"It wasn't me."

"It wasn't me."

"(F/N) (L/N)."

You slowly remove the hands from your face and look up. A military man stood there, glaring at you. He held a Ak-47 in his hand, and looked ready to use it.

Under normal circumstances, you should be terrified. But you weren't. Instead, hatred boiled in your blood.

Kash Willis.

Your cell guard and tormentor.

"Still not speaking?" He smirked. "Come on, you know more English than that."

You remained silent.

"Poor little (F/N).... Claiming to be inno-"

"IT WASN'T ME!" You shouted. You get off your bench and dash to the cell door. Grabbing it, you keep screaming.

"IT WASN'T ME! IT WASN'T ME! IT WASN'T ME! IT WASN'T ME!"

You stop and catch your breath, scowling at the soldier. After a few seconds, he stepped back and laughed. His palm struck your face, forcing you to backpedal. You crash down, only to hear that infernal laughter.

"You keep telling yourself that, (F/N), because no one else gonna help you know," Kash laughed as he left.

You slowly sit up and stare down at the floor.

"It wasn't me..."

The only words that left your mouth - it wasn't a prayer.

It wasn't a defense before some grand jury.

"Emilia... Please, forgive me. I didn't do it."

It was a plea for Emilia - that her soul would forgive you.

"I'm sorry...."

The air seemed to get thicker.

"I.... Couldn't stop him."

The downpour halted.

"Emilia...."

"IT WASN'T -"

Reina: So, how was it?
