Reina: I gave Shiro two sisters - a 17 year old sister named Aiko and a 4 year old sister named Akira. I almost gave Aiko a twin, but I think Shiro would get really stressed.

Aiko (literally "love child") is rebellious, doesn't listen to authority, and her emotions get the best of her - Shiro's opposite. She has long dark hair, but dyes part of it white.

Akira, on the other hand, is an adorable child who smiles a lot. She loves her siblings, but is really close to Lance (and later Keith). She originally had black hair, but Aiko accidentally dyed it all white, much to Shiro's annoyance. When Akira gets older, she gets mad at Aiko for dying her hair, and Shiro for not watching her.

When Akira grows up, she becomes a flirt, thank to Lance.

Also, Lance takes care of Akira, and I headcannon him telling her all of his feelings (because she won't judge) but she ends up letting Keith and the others know later.

~Introducing Aiko Shirogane and Akira Shirogane~

Shiro scanned the room. "The coast is clear. Keith, Lance, I need y-"

SMACK!

Keith and Lance could only stare in shock as Shiro fell to the ground. Before either male could help their leader, a female voice began to shriek.

"NII-SAMA! HOW DARE YOU ABANDON AKIRA AND I IN ORDER TO GO TO SPACE! NO PHONE CALLS, NO SKYPE, NO LETTERS! JUST SKIPPING OFF TO SPACE INSTEAD OF SAYING HI TO YOUR OWN FLESH AND BLOOD! WHO HAPPENED TO THINK THAT YOU CRASHED YOUR SHIP INTO KERBEROS OR SOMETHING!"

"What the...?" Lance began. He turned to Keith for an explanation, but saw that the Red Paladin was pale.

"T-That's Aiko.... Shiro's younger sister. She's um.... Violent....."

"AND TO TOP IT OFF AKIRA AND I GET KIDNAPPED BY A WITCH! TO HURT YOU! WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO ANGER HER?!"

"I-" Shiro began, only to get cut off by Aiko, who exited the shadows. She looked a lot like Shiro, except with black hair, and wore a typical school girl uniform from Japan.

"DON'T MAKE EXCUSES!" She shrieked.

Before anyone could say anything, a little blur darted by Keith, Lance, and Aiko, landing right on top of Shiro. "Nii-sama!"

Aiko stopped yelling, and Keith began to relax. "And that is Akira, the baby."

Akira looked like a tiny Aiko, and had the opposite temperament - given that she could make everyone melt just by staring at her.

Shiro has the weirdest family dynamic, Lance thought to himself.

~How Akira Came to Idolize Lance~

"Lance, I have an important mission for you."

Lance looked up from his sewing. "What is it?"

"I need you to watch Akira for the day."

"But-"

It was too late. Shiro picked up Lance's project and moved it to the side, plopping Akira on his lap.

"Aiko and I are going to help Coran and Allura with the negotiations. Keith, Hunk, and Pidge are working on repairs, and you happen to be available. I'll be back in ten hours or so."

Lance opened his mouth, but the Black Paladin was gone. Sighing, he looked down at Akira, who smiled at him with a toothy grin.

Lance melted upon seeing her smile. Perhaps he'll be fine after all.

"Let's go out, Akira."

Lance headed down to the planet's surface with Akira in tow. She wanted to play, and Lance knew better than to anger Pidge and Hunk while they were working. Besides, what harm could exploring do?

Lance picked up Akira and walked through the marketplace, shifting Akira until she was on his hip. She began to talk excitedly, taking in all the sights around her.

"Excuse me?"

Lance turned around to see an alien with pink eyes, blue skin, and black hair wearing a white dress. She smiled, and bent down until she was eye level with Akira.

"Is this your daughter?"

Lance felt insulted - and scared to see Shiro and Aiko's reactions if he claimed that he was Akira's father. "N-No. I'm just her babysitter."

"You're taking such good care of her... May I buy you a drink?"

Are you kidding me? Lance thought.

He flashed the alien a smile. "Of course!"

11 hours later....

Keith darted his eyes from side to side. Where the hell was Lance? Sure, everyone knew that he went to the market with Akira, but he was nowhere in sight.

"Dammit Lance...."

He ran forward until he heard squeals. Slowing down, he turned his head and began to gawk.

Lance was on a bench holding Akira, who had fallen asleep in his lap. He was quietly talking to several aliens, who were giving him doe eyes.

"Lance!"

Lance turned his head and waved. "Hey Keith!"

"What are you doing?"

"Talking, mainly because Akira fell asleep."

Keith face palmed. Of course when Lance wasn't flirting he'd get surrounded by women. And to top it off, Shiro's baby sister was with him.

"Aiko is going to kill me....."
