Reina: Another short of Warriors of Smash to defeat writer's block.

Isa

"Ugh..." I cursed. "He got away."

"Well, it's your fault that you got hit with the laser when we were fighting Spiro," Sonic replied as he walked ahead.

"Hey! It's not my fault if I have s**** luck," I grumbled. "You know that I'm not good with games of chance."

"That's your fault for fighting Palutena."

I grumbled and followed him. Spiro's exit through the wall led us outside, and we followed the path of destruction he left behind.

After a few minutes of walking past daisies and tulips, we came to a stop. The path was short and involved wading through a stream to get to the next building, which was already on high security.

"Hey Sonic, let's-" I began before I noticed that my companion was missing. "Sonic?"

"Over here!"

I turned and noticed that he had run ahead - through the rocky and longer path. "Uh.... Sonic?"

"Yes?"

I began to jog towards him. "Dude.... We could have crossed the stream."

"But I could drown."

"Sonic, Olimar's Pikmin can wade through it no problem."

"But it's not safe."

"TAKING THIS PATH WILL ALLOW SPIRO TO GET AWAY!"

Sonic crossed his arms. "Well, it's not my fault that you're slow."

I scowled at him and began to walk before I heard it.

"EEK!!!!!" I ran super fast and hide behind Sonic. "Get that thing away from me!"

"Huh?" Sonic looked at me. "What's wrong, Isa?"

I wouldn't look up at him. He sighed and walked to where I was freaking out. He came back to me and said, "Is this what scared you?"

"Eep!" I backed away from Sonic. "Get that mouse away from me!!"

"You're scared of mice?" Sonic asked in confusion.

"Yes! Those creepy animals are harbringers of pestilence!"

"Isa... Calm down." Sonic put the rat down (and away from me). "Let's go after Spiro."

I nod and follow him to the base. As we got closer, Sonic looked at me. "Hey Isa."

"Yeah?"

"Is it true?"

"What's true?" I asked. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"I heard from Dark Pit that you tried to kill Ike for throwing a toy mouse on your bed."

I sighed. "Yeah.... He made it look convincing."

Sonic nodded and we kept running. After another minute, Sonic looked at me. "Isa, run faster!"

"I can't!"

"Maybe I should get a mouse for a pet and bring him with us."

"I will throttle you," I muttered.

"Nope!"

Without warning, Sonic grabbed me and suddenly he ran closer to me, picking me up and dashing towards the base. "Hey!" I protested.

"If you don't like getting carried, then develop speed powers! Or you could fly," Sonic replied.

"Sonic, I nearly fainted using my wings a minute ago. I don't think that'll help."

"Well then, you'll just have to get carried by me and hope that we don't run into any mice," he smirked.

"Don't joke about that!" I yelled. "With my luck, that'll happen!"

Reina: And they happen to run into a giant rat boss in the base.

This is just to help me characterize Isa a bit before I write her down in Warriors of Smash...

It's hinted that prior to the events of the story, Isa got into a fight with Palutena and insulted her, so Palutena cursed her with bad luck. But then the manor got attacked, so Isa still has the bad luck.... She had the occasional bad luck before though.

Shall I write anything else interesting with Isa now?
