I was picked up and tossed onto the ground. As I attempted to recover from the shock of the pavement, a hand grabbed my neck and slammed me into the ground again. I gasp and desperately claw at the hand holding me, but it was no use. A naginata was aimed at my face, and I tried not to gulp.

"Corrin!" Ryoma shrieked as he ran towards me. I turn my eyes to the left as the naginata hit him and sent him flying backwards. Sakura screamed, and Takumi notched an arrow into his bow.

"I'll shoot you down!" He yells.

"Takumi...." I whisper hoarsely. "Don't."

I could only watch in horror as my assailant aimed her hand at Takumi and shot him. He flew back and hit the ground, and attempted to get up.

I slowly turn my eyes and looked up at my attacker. Anger burned in her eyes, and dark energy ebbed from her body. The naganita was now aimed at my face.

I began to cry as words left my mouth.

"K-Kill me if you want...."

My attacker tilted her head slightly, allowing me to continue.

"But do it as yourself."

She hissed and her grip tightened.

"If it's you...." I whisper hoarsely, "I'll accept death with joy."

Azura screamed and raised her naganita higher. I failed to reach her.
