I lean against the cold wall and sit down. No way, we can't be lost! Please no, not like this. But it was true. They had no idea where they were or went. We might be able too back track, but that would lead them too what ever that thing was. I didn't need another encounter.

Not too mention the skeletons. No doubt when the thing left they restarted their search. Not wanting too let their prey escape. I look down both ways off the hallway. I could see about five meters before it gave away too darkness. I shouldn't have been able too see at all but Terry gave a lecture before we came, he mentioned how the walls were infused with magic, giving it a glow that wasn't noticeable.

I survey our group. Terry is crying in a corner, Will is on the ground laughing as if he heard the funniest thing in the world. Tracey is white faced. Lisa and Frederick are just watching Will with very confused faces.

"Come on! We aren't lost! I know the whole way!" Will laughed. "There are ways too go around the beast thingy ma-bob."

Frederick sighs, "I guess there's no point in just sitting here. Lets go." Leaving no point for arguing, he gets up and walks too the edge of darkness. Everyone scrambles up and follows him.

We tread down the darkness at a weary walk. Everyone was exhausted. No one dared too run ahead or be in the back. I could hear the clatter of bones in the distance, and screams. I didn't know where it came from, as long as I didn't run into them. Each tunnel seems the same, yet different.

Some had roofs fifty meters high, some were low enough too make us crawl. Some had statues, and murals of people doing some ceremony. In each one, it was obvious what they were praying too. A stone. We walk into a door. A simple door, it had a door nob and rusty hinges. Frederick cautiously walked up too it and opened it a bit. It creaked loudly, I wince at the sound. Knowing if someone was there, they would know we were here by now, Frederick shoved it open. I gasped.

The room was huge. At least a hundred meters wide and long. The roof dispeared into the darkness above, making it look endless. The reason we could see: there were torches lining the wall. Burning torches. That meant one thing: someone was here. Or maybe more than one person, potentially the men from the Resistance. (Bad Resistance) I wander into the grand room. It was barren except for the walls and center of the room.

By the wall lay thousands if things, anything you can imagine. Items of value and crap. I look around too find a necklace lined with diamonds. Next I fine a ring with diamonds. And then I find a bag full of diamonds. I walk around surveying the stuff. It varied from a diamond earing too a plastic bag. I push some stuff around too find a bobble head.

"Look at me!" Will shrieks with delight, riding around on a bike. It was new, one of the newest versions actually.

That one burning question was in my mind. How did this stuff get here? I grab the bag of diamonds and stuff it in my pocket. Why not? I wouldn't mind a couple thousand dollars. I see a section that seemed too be all food. Carrots, apples, oranges, bananas, kiwis and strawberries, you name it! I pop a Toblerone chocolate in my mouth and continue on.

I eventually get bored of looking at old bike tires and head too the center of the room where it looked like there was a miniature temple. Pillars hold up a high room that angled up into the darkness above. I enter what looks like a throne. Around was things that weren't around the edge. Everything was made of pure blue. A gemstone that wasn't known too me. Lapis? Sapphire? No.

It was made into statues, eight of them in total. Surrounding the throne. Upon closer looks, I realize it wasn't a throne. It was a pedestal. In it, lay something I wasn't expecting. In the red velvet pillow lay a stone with the exact rune on the tunnel from Traceys vision. They found what they were looking for.

"Guys! Hurry! Look what I found!" I yell excitedly.

They rush over and gasp when they see what's there.

"What are we waiting for? Lets get it!" Will marches forward, then falls down cold.

"What happened?" Tracey cries out.

"Everyone stop, those statues are enchanted! A spell was cast on him!" Frederick yells out, he grabs Wills foot and pulls him towards us. His breath was steady, his chest rising and lowering. He was just unconscious.

"What are the statues?" I ask.

"They're made from pure Hyran. The rarest gemstone in the world. The only places they're found is in the Yopolist Dimension. The most dangerous one of all." Frederick tells us, "It can have curses or manipulated very easily. Like this."

"How do we get past them?" Tracey asks.

"We need the key." Terry walks up surveying the small statues.

"What key? Where do we put it?" I ask even more confused.

"No, well- yes. A key of magic. You need too preform magic on each statue. In an order."

"Seems easy. We will get it eventually... right?"

"No so easy," sighs Terry. "If we get it wrong, the statues will combust. Everything will blow up, literally explode. The statues will current the stones power into the ground. And it will eventually burst free."

"How big of an explosion..." Tracey asks.

"Lets just say, Detroit will no longer be Detroit." Terry grumbles.

"Oh." Tracey says in a small voice.

"What's the pattern?" I ask.

"We don't know." Terry replies glumly.

"How can we find out?"

"We can't."

"Are you going too keep being negative?"

"Yes, you're annoying me."

"So now what?" I grumble.

"We wait and hide."

"For what!" Tracey jumps in waving her arms like a lunatic. "There's nothing down here, we're going too die down here! Were doomed and we're just standing around!"

"There's something here alright." Frederick warned, backing away from Tracey. "And it's behind you!" He screams.

We all turn too see a stone stairway that wasn't there before. Leading up into the darkness. Far above, a light: a torch too be exact was coming down. Slowly but surely. Someone was coming.

"Hide!" Whispered Lisa.

We all rush around too the edge of the room and jump into the piles of junk around the place. I now realize what they really are. Offerings. And what do they do with them in a lot of countries? Burn them.

I stay hidden away. Not wanting too look out. I risk a peek, I see someone. Wait a minute... Out in the middle of the room lied Will. Still unconscious. He moved, slightly. It would be better if he stayed asleep. Or things could get sticky. I'm covered by a blanket. The torch reaches the bottom of the stairs. I see who it is.

He looks like a native. Grass skirts, bones in his nostrils. He carried a staff, he obviously had magic abilities. He sees Will in the middle of the room and stops cold. He freezes. Then suddenly starts yelling in a different language.

"Teg eht feihc! Yrruh! Ereht era sredurtni!" He screams.

He runs up too Will and holds out the staff like a spear. Will chooses that exact moment too wake up.

"Guys? Uh, what happened? Was it the statues?" Will stretches and gets up.

The native yells again. "Yrruh! Ereht era erom naht eno fo meht!"

I hear footsteps echo down from the stairway. I watch as a few more natives exit. They look like the first. Then another comes through. And another. A few minutes later over four hundred have entered the large chamber. They crowded around will pointing their staffs at him. He had finally realized what was happening and wisely surrendered.

Then a native, a much larger one steps out of the darkness. Their leader of course. He had face paint all over his face and wore a purple robe. His staff was made out of pure fire. A dragons head at the top, it snarled at the natives as he approached. Woah! That staff is alive! He walks up too Will.

"Rof gniyrt ot laets eht taerg eno, ouy lliw eb a ecifircas oot ti." He rumbles in a deep voice.

"Um, sorry but- uhhh. Hi?" Will tries.

The native hears him and replies in perfect English. "For trying to steal the great one, you will be a sacrifice too it."

"Oh, um... How about no?" Will asks hopefully.

"Yes!" He yells now, "Tonight! You shall die!" He screams. Then stops and asks Will. "Now tell me- where are those friends of yours?"
