Thirty minutes later we pull up to a huge Iron gate and I am shocked at what I see. My mouth drops open and my brother does too.

The place is utterly gorgeous. There are like no other words to describe it. It's just that simple.

"Woah. This place is even better than our last home" my brother said's from beside me.

"You can say that right" I mutter.

"Well, kids here we are. Our new home. I wanted an even bigger one than the last one" Dad said's.

We just nod to his words as we're still just staring at the beautiful scene right before us.

Our mother's voice finally snaps us out of our trance. "Well, kids don't just sit there. Get out. C'mon, let's go and look inside. We all get out of the car and go to the door. Dad puts his key in the door and pushes it open. We step in and once again our mouth drops open.

This place is way better than our last. There's so much space and it's already furnished.

"Wow. This place is amazing," I say and spin in circles.

"Kids go look around and also we have a surprise that for y'all," mom says. I and my brother immediately go in different directions. He goes upstairs while I stay downstairs and look around. I find the kitchen and see that's it's huge. It has a bar and there's also a table to the side. I also find the gorgeous dining room and see there's a room which couches, chairs, and a tv on the wall. I come across more and more living rooms. Some of them with TVs.

I go around another hallway and another huge couch with a tv and a pool table across the room. Wow. We've never had a pool table before. I go out of that room and go to a room and open the door. IT'S A MOVIE ROOM! OUR HOME THEATER. Now that's something we've never had but always wanted. Now we finally do. Wait till I tell my brother. He's gonna freak.

I also see another room with a baby grand piano and go to a room I've never seen before. I open it and see our surprise. IT'S TWO DOGS! THE DOGS WE'VE ALWAYS WANTED!!

I run out of the room and run to my dad and hug him. I do knock the wind out of him though.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you" I chant over and over. He chuckles and I pull back

I" see you found the surprise," he said's smiling.

"Yes. Thank you so much" I say and hug him again.

"Your welcome. Now go see your room. second door on the left " he says. I squeal and run up the stairs. I go to the right and the second door and open it. I am utterly speechless once again.

"Woah! This is nice," I say to myself. I honestly thought they were just gonna keep my old bedroom but instead they gave me a new one.

I go to the double doors in my room and open them to see a walk-in closet that's full of clothes. And it even has my favorite colors. Black, white, Red, and dark blue. It's the most amazing thing I've ever seen.

I'm still standing there when I hear footsteps running into my room.

"HOLY SHIT. YOUR ROOM LOOKS EVEN BETTER THAN MINE," my brother said.

I turn around and smirk. "I know right," I say and walk to another which I think it's my bathroom.

I open it to see the biggest bathroom I've ever seen. It's so damn huge.

"All the bathrooms are pretty much like this," he said.

"Have you seen the dogs?" I ask.

"Dogs? Where?" he asks me.

"Downstairs in the room. That's the surprise," I say and walk out of the room. He follows behind me.

"Woah. This just gets better and better?" he said.

I go down the hallway and open the door and show him. The dogs come running towards us.

"Wow. I can't believe dad did this for us,"He said.

"I know. I was so shocked," I say back.

"KIDS. COME HERE PLEASE," Mom yells.

We go to the main living room and see mom and dad standing there.

"So kids we want to tell you that can go out and explore LA," mom says.

"YESS," I and my brother both say.

"But be back before dinner. Oh and your starting school tomorrow," she adds with a bright smile.

"Ughh," we both groan.

"And Aaliyah tries not to get in any trouble,'' dad says.

"No promises dad," I say with a smirk.

His face goes stern. "Aaliyah," he drags out.

I put my hands up. "OK, OK. I won't," I say.

"Ok now run along. I and your mother gotta take care of some things," Dad says.

I run back upstairs and grab my purse and phone. I run back downstairs and wait for Halden.

"By the way, your vehicles are here. Along with some new ones," Dad shouts from another room.

Halden comes downstairs and we go out the door. I shut it behind me. I go to the garage. I type in the code and it opens up. I see my baby's and run to them. I see a few new others. One of them is mine.

Wow. It's white and so beautiful. It's a new model too. This is my dream car.

"Woah is that the-" my brother goes to say.

I cut him off. " Lamborghini Estampida Concept," I finish for him.

"So beautiful. I got a new car too. It's a Lamborghini Aventador," he says.

I look over and see that's blue. "Pretty," I say.

We get into our cars and pull out the driveway. The garage closes right away. We pull out on the road and we out on the highway. I call him in my car.

"Hey," I say

"Hey. Where are we headed?" Halden asks.

"I was thinking we hit the mall," I say.

"Ok I pull up the closes one," he said. I wait a few minutes and then he's back.

"Ok, the closes one is the Beverly Center. It's like 10 minutes away," he says.

"Ok see you there, bye," I say and hang up.

Soon I see the sign and the huge mall. California is really big. I pull into the parking lot and circle around until I find a parking space. It's crowded here today. My brother pulls in beside me and we both get out and lock the door. We make our way inside.

It was so beautiful and clean inside. This place screams money. Which we do have. We walk towards what we see on a map and find the stores we like. This place has five floors. Ok, this shouldn't be too hard.

"Let's split up and meet back at the food court," He says.

"Fine with me," I say and with that, we part and go our opposite ways. I immediately spot victoria's secret and go inside. I begin to look around and start picking this out that I like. I go up to the cashier and pay and then I'm walking out with several handbags. I go in Hot Topic, by things and soon I'm going I like every store. My arms are full and heavy. I take out my phone and check the time.

Shit. I was supposed to be in the food court by now I say to myself. I head to the food court and look for my brother. When I don't see him I find a table and sit down. I just scroll through my phone for a while and soon my stomach is growling. I get up and head to one of the restaurants.

I go to chick-fil-A and get a chicken sandwich, a large fry, and a Strawberry milkshake. I pay for my food and when it's ready I go back and sit down. I begin to eat and soon I'm finished. I decide I want a cookie so I get up to get it. I'm holding my milkshake in one hand and scrolling through my phone when I run into something hard and my milkshake falls out of my hand.

I look up and see that it's a chest and look up to see a guy who looked very pissed. Woah, and he's very hot too. He has dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, and a light smooth skin complexion.

"WHAT THE FUCK?" HE shouts angrily.

"HEY, IT'S NOT MY FAULT YOU DIDN'T SEE ME COMING," I shout angrily back.

"NOT YOUR FAULT? YOU RUINED MY SHIRT. YOU"RE GONNA PAY FOR WHAT YOU DID". he practically screams.

I laugh very coldly. "Me? I'm not gonna do shit. That's your shirt. You should clean," I say with a smirk.

His face gets even angrier. "Don't talk to me like that. Do you know who I am?" he asks.

"No I don't and I don't give zero fucks. But I know this. You're a cocky asshole who's a player who needs to learn to learn some respect."

"YOU FUCKING BITC--- " he gets cut off by a hand on his shoulder. It's another hot guy who had brown hair but lighter and blue eyes.

"Dude chill. It was an accident. You can get that cleaned," he says.

Another guy comes it. Except for this time he has brown hair with some tan and grey eyes. "Yeah, dude. He's right. It'll be okay," he says.

I just smirk again. "Yea listen to friends. After all, I was not the one who was being an asshole," I say.

He scoffs. "And who do you think you are?" he says and smirks.

I cross my arms. "I know I have respect and I'm not a jerkface asshole who can't show respect. And at least I have to decency to grow up," I say and walk away.

I hear his friends to him and say damn she told you, bro. Shut the fuck up and help me, I hear him say back.

I go to my table and see my brother sitting there. He is on his phone and looks up when I sit there.

He narrows his eyes. "What's with the smirk. Don't tell me you punched someone in the face," Halden says.

"Relax. I didn't go as far as punching someone. I just told someone off," I say.

"Who? and what happened?" he asks.

I begin telling him the story from spilling the milkshake to telling him that he needs to grow up.

"Damn sis. I'm surprised he didn't do anything back. Then again he friends held him back,"Halden says.

"Yea. If I ever see that dude again I swear I'm gonna have to refrain from punching the lights out of him," I say.

Halden smirks. "Now that I would pay to see," he says and we laugh.

I ask my brother has he eaten and he says yes so we decide to just go home since we are tired. We exit out the mall and head to our cars. We put everything in our trunk and then get in our cars. We pull out the parking lot, back onto the highway, and head home. I put my address in since I don't know it by hard yet. I listen to the radio as I'm driving to keep from closing my eyes.

I pull up in the driveway with my brother right beside me. I pull up in the garage and park the car. I get out with my bags and go through the garage door into the house with my brother right behind me.

"HEY MOM, DAD. WE'RE BACK!" I yell.

My mom comes running through the kitchen.

"Hey, kids. Wow. Y'all bought a lot of stuff," she says.

My brother points at me and then himself. "She did. I didn't," he says back.

my mom just chuckles. "Well go and wash your hands and unpack. Dinner is ready," she says.

I head out of my room and upstairs. I go to my room and put all of my clothes away. I wash my hands in my bathroom and head downstairs. I go to the kitchen and see my family at the table.

I take my seat and my brother feeds the dogs. We still haven't named them yet but soon we will.

Soon the food is served and we are all eating. Dad starting the conversation.

"So. Are y'all ready for school tomorrow?" he asks me and my brother.

I groan. "I guess," is what I mumble.

"Yeah," my brother said slowly.

"That's good," is all that my dad says. I don't say anything else and neither does my brother. My mom and my dad are now talking about work.

After dinner, I go back upstairs and take off my makeup. I take a shower and put on my pajamas. I put my phone on the charger and cut my tv on. I Start Season 1 of 13 Reasons Why. I get through the first 3 episodes and then I decide to go to sleep. I cut off my tv, set my alarm, and go to sleep.
