ten minutes later  truck 81 and ambulance 61 have arrived at the site of a multi-vehicle accident where a truck has rolled over and two cars have collided trying to avoid the truck

"Herrmann, Otis get the ladder and (Y\N) get ready to ascend" Casey barks the order as Herrmann and Brian get the ladder up on the side of the truck

"ok it's ready" Herrmann says giving you the all clear the ascend. you go up the ladder to find a man unconscious. you climb into the truck

"we are going to need a neck brace and a spine broad" you say into your radio. two minutes later and you have got what you need and you are helping the team lift the man out and you notice the same figure as you did in the warehouse fire but you decide to focus on doing your job

an hour later everyone is back at the firehouse and you are almost finished cooking lunch for everyone when Severide comes in with a man that looks a lot like your brother

"there is someone who wants to see you and I think you would be happy" Severide says indicting to the man standing next to him

"well I've got some stuff to do so I will leave you two alone"

"ok thanks Kelly" you say as he leaves

"ok look (Y\N) this is gonna sound weird considering the fact that half my face is covered in scaring" but before the man can finish his sentence you hug him realising who he is

"I know it's you Jesse, no need to explain I'd better stop hugging you and finish the cooking" you say as you let go of him

"yeah that would be a good idea would you like some help" he asks

"yes can you take the cake out of the oven" you reply while you remove the frying pan from the stove and turn it off

"then we are done"

"sis when your shift is finished do you want to maybe go for dinner and talk" he asks out of concern

"sure where?" you reply

 "at the hotel, I am staying at," he says

thirty minutes later you are sketching a dog and you are, for some reason very angry at your brother but happy he is actually alive. Matt sits next to you

"hey (Y\N)" he says

"are you ok you seem a little off"

"to tell you the truth I am because I don't know how to handle the fact that my brother who I thought was dead for two years is actually alive" you say almost crying in relief

"your brother being alive isn't that a good thing" Matt asks hoping to calm you down

"well that's the thing he was gone for two years" you reply

"I'll be meeting him at his hotel for dinner to get some answers"

"ok just don't get to angry" he replies

"how can you tell that I am angry" you ask

"the quality of your sketch" he replies as he leaves 

"oh" you say looking at the badly drawn dog in front  of you

two hours later at you are at the hotel with your brother

"why didn't you tell me sooner like before I left Los Angeles" you say

"because I was in a hospital in a coma" he replies

"how did you find me anyway" you  ask out of curiosity

"well the simple fact is I had a hunch that you would still be a firefighter and you always said if you moved anywhere you would move to Chicago" he  replies

"look (Y\N) I probably should have called but I didn't know the best way to tell you"

"I've got one more question before we can talk about something else" you say

"what" your brother asks

"a couple of days ago I was working a warehouse fire and I saw a figure about your height and I was the same figure three and a half hours ago working a car wreck was that you" you ask explaining the situation 

"yes that was me but I didn't cause any of those accidents"  he replies a bit worried that you think he did

"don't worry I know your not that kind of person and anyway I was thinking that you should join me in the CFD" you say reassuring him

"ok I might as well but I'm not sure if I will have to do civilian work " he says

"why don't you come with me tonight and you can stay at my place from now on?" you offer

"sure" he replies
