it is the day after you found out that your brother is alive and you are talking to Matt in the recreational area 

"so (Y\N) are you happy that your brother is back" he asks

"yes I am now Matt how about we go on an official date" you reply with a question

"you mean out to dinner right" he responds

"well yes" you reply in a no duh tone

"ok then" he replies.

A moment later an automated signal goes off "fire truck 81, squad 3, ambulance 61 explosion at the main Chicago collage" the automated voice announces

"we will continue this when we get back" you say as you get up

"ok we will" Matt replies following you

five minutes later and the team reach the collage. everyone leaves the trucks

"excuse me is anyone trapped" you demand to know

"yes five students are trapped in the science lab on the third floor" a professor replies really concerned  

"Casey there are five people on the third floor" you say passing the news to Casey

"ok Hermann, (Y\N), Severide come with me" Casey commands

"Capp, Otis, Joe, Hermann take the left side"

two minutes later you and the team reach the science lab to find five students trapped by flames coming from the gas taps

"did you turn the gas main off" you yell to the students

"we tried but nothing happened" one of the students replies

"chief we need the gas supply cut off before we can do anything" you radio

"excuse me the gas main wasn't working that's the first thing we did and like I said nothing happened," one of the students says

"ok let's work on getting everyone rescued. Kids you need to get to the first floor if you can" Casey demands

"(Y|N) let Chief Boden know we need the gas supply cut off"

"chief we are going to need the gas supply cut from the whole building" you radio over

"ok," he replies. 

"Casey you need to follow my lead," you say realising the flames coming from the gas pipes only go so far. A moment later you have managed to make it to the students

"ok first of all anyone injured," you ask making sure that if there are any injured people you can get them to Dawson as soon as possible

"no," one of the students says

"ok you see how the flames only go so far?" you say to the students

"yes" they all respond at the same time

"go around to the men on the other side and I will make sure you all make it" you command them

Five minutes later and there is only one student left with you

"we need to go," you say "

"we can't," he says trying to pick up his research book but it lay just under the flame, you stop him. 

The student tries again this time pushing you into the flames. he gets the book but in doing so he pushes you into the flames your mask cracks and in turn, your face gets singed.

Another five minutes later you and the student made it out and you are checking with Gabi to make sure your face is OK

"(Y/N) your face Will be a bit sore for a day but you will be alright" she says

"anyway, what happened?" 

"one of the students made a dive for their research" you reply as you get up.
