^^^^Damen

"Have a good day Maria!", my best friend and co-worker Liliana said. I said goodbye back and walked towards my turquoise Jeep. Before I even realized what was happening I was tied up, blindfolded, and put in the back of a van. What felt like hours later the van stopped and the blindfold was taken off. A man untied my legs but kept my arms tied. He led me into a huge black mansion with white shutters and white towers on the sides. I gasped and tried to stop in my tracks but was shoved along by the man who was dressed in all black. I winced as he dug his nails deeper into my arm. 

I looked around curiously as I was shoved into a room filled with five men, all that looked to be around my age. The man gripping my arm slit the ropes tied around my arms and shoved me forward before leaving. I looked around at all of the men thinking in my head,"What the hell?" One of them stepped forward,cleared their throat, and said,"Maria Johnson. You have been picked to fall in love with one of us five men. Once you have fallen in love with one of us, you will marry the man you fell in love with and become the leader of our gang "The Spades". You both will then be the leaders of "The Spades" until the day you both shall die. I gasped,fell to the ground, and started sobbing my eyes out. My breathing became shallow and I was gasping for air. I then blacked out. 

I woke up in a bed covered in at least four blankets. I looked down to see that I had been changed into pajamas and I did not have a bra on. I started crying again and was about to go into another panic attack when I heard a knock on the door. "Maria? May I come in please? I promise I won't hurt you", I heard a voice say. I started gasping for air again and the door opened for me to see one of the handsome men that was in the room earlier. I cowered away from him and whimpered and he put his hands out giving me a sign that he wasn't going to hurt me. I un-cowered a little and he sat on the bed next to me. "Hey beautiful. I'm not gonna hurt you. Look, I know Josh probably scared the hell out of you. And the way we got you to come here was not the best, but we honestly just want you to take care of us in a way. Oh! My name is Griffin by the way.", he said and held out his hand. I slowly reached out my hand and shook his. He held it a second longer than necessary and it felt hard not to feel at ease with him.

I let go of his hand and tried to remind myself that he was the enemy in this situation. But then an idea came into my head,"Why don't I just get him on my side and then use him to get myself out?" I must of been in my head too long because all of a sudden I felt a tap on my shoulder. I instanly flinched. I looked up to see sadness in Griffin's eyes. I took a deep breath and took his hand in mine. I saw his eyes light up when I willingly took his hand and couldn't help but think of how adorable he is. All of a sudden the door burst open and three more of the guys walked in. "Hey! No fair!", one of the guys shouted childishly. 

I quickly covered my ears and felt the panic attack start to come back when Griffin started rubbing circles on my hand with his thumb. Out of the corner of my eye I saw him glare at the man. "Nice going dumb-ass", another one of the guys said and elbowed the one that had yelled. Once I had calmed down the three guys came over. The one that had called the other a dumb-ass introduced himself and the others. "Well, you obviously met Grifffin. I'm Tyler. The idiot is Sam, that over there is Matthew, and the hard ass you met earlier is Damen. And we are super sorry about Damen earlier. Like I said, he's a hard ass.
