"Sorry brat, but it looks like we can't go to the Heart Kingdom."

Yami was standing in front of Noelle, Asta, and Kyoya as he told them the situation. Apparently the Heart Kingdom couldn't be entered. The border has a great quantity of trap magic surrounding it. If Asta used his anti-magic sword, they'd sense the traps disappearing and everyone responsible would be wanted criminals. 

"Dammit, so we can't go to the Heart Kingdom. But i'm positive that there is a clue there."

"I agree with Kyoya. There is definitely a clue to our investigation there. But there has to be a way to get there because I heard Mimosa say she's been there before."

Asta and Kyoya were surprised by this news. Apparently Mimosa went there because there was a student exchange program between the Clover Kingdom's nobility and the Heart Kingdom's. After hearing this, Yami told Finral to take Asta, Kyoya, and Noelle to the Golden Dawn's hideout.

"Okay. Alright everyone, let's go!"

As Noelle and Asta nod their heads, Kyoya was silent as he placed a hand on his chest. He wish he could tell them that he was also cursed by a devil, but he if he did he would suffer the consequences. As Finral opened a portal to the Golden Dawn's Headquarters, he was thinking to himself.

"The Heart Kingdom.....Echidna made it obvious that I should go there. If there is someone like myself there, then I need to meet them."

~Golden Dawn Hideout~

A spatial magic portal opened up in front of the Golden Dawn's base. As Asta, Noelle, Kyoya, and Finral walk out of the portal, they went inside of the hideout. When they walked inside, Finral quickly looked towards the group.

"Sorry, but we'll have to split up for now. I want to check on my brother Langris. After everything that's happened with the elves, I just want to make sure he is alright."

"Sure, go ahead and do what you need to do."

As Kyoya said this, Finral nods his head as he ran forward to look for Langris. Seeing this, Kyoya and his two juniors walk around in search of Mimosa. After asking around, they finally found Mimosa in her room.

"Asta!!!! Noelle and Kyoya are here too. Why are you here?"

"We need your help Mimosa. Did you ever go to the Heart Kingdom before? We need to know because it seems there is some activity involving a devil there."

"Yes, it's true that i've been to the Heart Kingdom. I was fourteen at the time as my brother and I were sent there as exchange students, though we were only allowed in a limited area. Not to mention, I heard that the Queen who rules over the Heart Kingdom is every bit as strong as our magic knight squads. She's said to be an all knowing mage who knows everything about her kingdom."

Kyoya was listening to Mimosa's words. The Queen of the Heart Kingdom, could she be someone cursed by Megicula just like him. There was only one way to know, but how can he get there. Soon he heard Mimosa say something that caught his interest.

"I believe they're accepting applications to visit as we speak. I'll see if I can get us all permission to go."

"Thank you Mimosa."

"You mean to tell me that we could've gone sooner if we did some damn paperwork. No wonder Captain Yami couldn't get us there."

After hearing this, the group decided to head out to get permission to go to the Heart Kingdom. While this was happening, Kyoya felt a bit strange. He was glad that he could get a chance to go to the Heart Kingdom, but he feels like he should keep his guard up.

~Meanwhile~
Echidna was seen sitting by herself as she was drinking some tea. As she did, she began to think. She was sure that the Heart Queen was aware of Kyoya and Asta's existence.

"It would make sense for her to want to gauge their strengths considering how their power can affect a devil. But it looks like Kyoya will have a chance to prove himself and improve his Devil Slayer Magic. After all, something threatening may be coming to the Heart Kingdom. Devils created from the Book of Zeref."

As Echidna said this, she puts down her tea as she had a vision. She saw three individuals heading for the Heart Kingdom. The first one was definitely Kurono, but when she saw the other two, a smile was now on her face.

"Well Kyoya, looks like you'll get to practice with your inheritance. Let's see how you do against those two."

~With Kyoya~
Kyoya was standing near a port at the Clover Kingdom. Mimosa managed to get Kyoya, Noelle, Asta, Finral, and herself permission to visit the Heart Kingdom. Seeing this, Kyoya looked at Mimosa.

"Thank you, Mimosa."

"It's no problem. After all, if it's to help Asta than i'll gladly do my part."

Kyoya nods his heads as he looked at the other three members of the Black Bulls. They nod their heads in unison as they got on a boat and were now setting sail to the Heart Kingdom. As they were off, Asta walked towards Kyoya.

"Hey Kyoya, if there really is a large signal of a curse in the Heart Kingdom-"

"Then we need to be ready for anything. After all, it took us a lot of effort just to beat one devil. Though...i'm confident that I can handle a devil. Out of everyone here, i've been exposed to one the most."

Asta couldn't hear the last part of what Kyoya said since he was mumbling. But as for Kyoya, he couldn't seem to relax. For some reason, he just felt like he shouldn't lower his guard.

"I get the feeling investigating the Heart Kingdom isn't going to be easy."

~Meanwhile~
Two people could be seen on a boat heading to the Heart Kingdom. As one of them was sitting down and looking at the ocean, the other was just looking straight ahead.

"You need to calm down, Jackal."

"Are you sure he's awakening?! This better not be a damn trap!!!!"

Jackal looked at his companion, but shut his mouth as soon as he saw the man glaring at him. Soon the man stood up as he began to walk towards Jackal. Soon a smile was present on his face.

"You're an artificial devil made from the Book of Zeref just like myself. Our connection to him is eternal. So if I can sense his presence slowly awakening, then you can too. Besides, Vanica told us to investigate the Heart Kingdom so we must take action."

"Fine then. Just don't hog all the fun for yourself, Mard Geer."
