Kyoya was in front of the Sanctuary. He remembered what happened the last time he went inside the building. He was forced to confront his past as if he was reliving it. That experience never left his body no matter how hard he tried to forget it.

"The Sanctuary........"

As Kyoya was taking a few steps forward, he felt a burning sensation in his chest. As he fell onto the ground, he began to hear static in his ears as it felt like he was going to pass out then and there. When he tried to move forward, he heard a voice. But what caught him off guard was that it was his own voice, yet when he looked up, he saw a man who's face resembled his own.

"Behold an unthinkable path."

As Kyoya's eyes blinked, he saw a young boy in a small village blanketed by snow. The homes were all reduced to rubble, a mountain of corpses could be seen in the distance. When Kyoya saw the boy, he realized something. This boy was none other than himself. When he followed the boy's gaze, he saw something that haunts him to this day. It was the corpse of someone who tried to protect everyone. That man was Silver Fullbuster.

"Dad!!!!"

As Kyoya saw his father's corpse, he saw his younger self crying. When he walked forward, he tried to comfort his younger self. But as soon as he reached out his hand, he heard one thing.

"Behold an unthinkable path."

As soon as Kyoya heard this, he saw himself in a facility. The air inside was cold and the atmosphere was suffocating. When he looked around, he saw a window in front of him. When he walked up, he saw something horrifying. His saw his younger self fighting against Kurono. However, the boy always lost and when he lost he was forced to say those dreadful words.

"I'm cursed by Megicu-"

Just as his younger self said those words, both the magic knight and the young boy coughed up blood. They held their chest in pain as the boy got back up. The little boy was forced to fight a losing battle and forced to repeat that dreadful sentence over and over. While he heard all this, Kyoya felt just as much pain as the child. Before he could feel himself about to lose more blood he heard this sentence once again.

"Behold an unthinkable path."

The scene changed to the outskirts of the Spade Kingdom. As Kyoya saw himself running, he heard footsteps right next to him. As he turned around, he saw the person running with him. When he saw the boy's pink hair, he thought to himself.

"Stop this..........of all the things I have to see.....please don't let it be this one."

As Kyoya looked at Natsu, the boy stopped running as he turned around. Kyoya wanted to stop and save him, yet his legs kept moving forward. As Natsu looked at the creatures that were chasing him and Kyoya, Kyoya only heard Natsu say one thing.

"I'm pretty cruel........making a promise I can't keep."

Soon Kyoya found himself in front of an old home. When he looked ahead he saw Ur standing in front of Deliora. Soon the woman used Iced Shell to seal away the devil, but during her final moments she looked towards Kyoya.

"Make it stop..........."

"Behold an unthinkable path."

Soon Kyoya found himself in a frozen village. Standing before him was a young man with white hair as he had wings resembling an angel's. He instantly realized who this man was.

"Byakuran?!"

Soon Kyoya heard the sound of rushing footsteps. As he looked to the side, his eyes became wide with shock with who he saw. For the first time in a while, a genuine smile formed on his face as he held his hand out to reach towards the girl rushing to his aid.

But just as his hand was so close to holding the girl's hand, a white dragon sunk it's fangs into the girl's flesh. The dragon rushed forward as it separated the girl's upper body from her lower one. As her blood was staining the ground and as her innards were being exposed, Kyoya's hand was shaking as he called out to the girl.

"W.......Wendy........."

"Behold an unthinkable path."

Just as Kyoya heard those words, he felt a sense of fear overwhelming him as he saw himself back in the Spade Kingdom. Once again, he saw his father's dead corpse in front of him. He was right back to where he started. The cycle kept repeating itself, forcing Kyoya to relive all of the traumatic events over and over again.

"Behold an unthinkable path. Behold an unthinkable path. Behold an unthinkable path. Behold an unthinkable path. Behold an unthinkable path. Behold an unthinkable path. Behold an unthinkable path. Behold an unthinkable path."

"Make it stop........someone...anyone. JUST PLEASE END THIS NIGHTMARE!!!!!"

Soon Kyoya noticed that he was in an unfamiliar area. To be honest, it was like an endless void. The only thing present was a pitch black darkness. As Kyoya took a step forward, he felt a dark presence looming behind him. This feeling was too familiar to him.

"No....anyone but her......"

"It's been so long, Kyo-chan."

An image of a single woman came into his mind. Kyoya remembered this woman well. Her laugh, her smile, and worst of all......her love. Her love was so suffocating, that he would rather die than to be loved by her anymore.

"You've gotten stronger. You're almost there Kyo-chan, but you still have a long way to go. I can't wait for our reunion. To fight against someone strong, to reduce them to nothing but my stepping stone. I can't wait to fight you to do death."

Soon the image of Vanica wrapped her arms around Kyoya, while she stood behind him. As this happened, the boy tried to run away but multiple hands from the shadows held him in place. When he looked down, he saw that the hands belonged to Natsu, Silver, Ur, and Wendy. As Kyoya felt his heart beating faster, he asked the image of Vanica one thing.

"Why are you doing this to me?"

"Because.....I love you."

Kyoya coughed up blood as he felt as if his heart was getting crushed. While this happened, Vanica smiled as she leaned towards Kyoya's ear. Soon she began to repeat this cycle over and over.

"I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I love you."

As she kept saying this, Kyoya kept losing more and more blood. Kyoya just wanted this suffering to end. This love, this curse, Vanica's very existence was enough to make any man insane. When he looked down he saw himself standing in a pool of blood as he felt his eyes slowly getting heavy.

His body was getting cold. He found it to be more difficult to keep his eyes open. As Kyoya's eyes were slowly closing, he heard one final thing as he felt as if his heart was about to burst and was thinking to himself.

"It is the pinnacle of all human emotion. More passionate than hope and far deeper than despair. Love........"
