"I know hell."

Kyoya's words were still fresh in her mind. For some reason, she just couldn't stop thinking about them. She wanted nothing more than to deny that the human knew anything about the pain of the elves, yet she sensed no lies in his words.

"Vinea, its time to manifest the Shadow Palace. Once the last magic stone is placed inside we elves shall keep these bodies as the human souls within shall be sent to the underworld."

"Yes, Patri."

Patri smiled as his plan was almost successful. Finally after so many years, the humans will pay for their crimes and the elves shall live once more.

"Now then Kyoya, remember this feeling of despair. Make sure you never forget it!!!! It's time you learn the true might of Ice Devil Slayer Magic. Ice Devil's Rage!!!!!"

After taking a deep breath, Silver releases a large purple blizzard of cold air, ice, and snow from his mouth as he aimed it at Kyoya. The blizzard inflicted so much damage to Kyoya that not only did it sent him flying backwards with great force, it also left behind a trail of destruction in its wake, heavily damaging the area it passes through.

"Hahaha!!! That really sent you flying back. But let me ask you, did you really think anger alone would let you win?"

As Silver walked over to Kyoya, who was on the ground, he kicked the boy in his gut. Afterwards, he began to stomp on him continuously and then kicks him into the air. Seeing this, he brought down his right arm as he made a storm of icicles crash down on Kyoya.

"What is it? What happened to all that energy you had? Are you just scared? Go ahead!!!! Avenge your teacher! Quench your thirst for revenge boy!!!! When I rob you of all that, even the people you want to protect will end up as corpses!!!!!!!"

"Ice-Make:Ice Geyser!!!!!"

Kyoya uses both hands to freeze the ground in front of him and creates a tower of ice spikes in order to impale Silver. Seeing this, the man merely laughed as he knew the boy was panicking.

"Ice Devil's Shiver!!!!!!"

Silver creates an ice shard funnel that forms a straight line heading for Kyoya's spell. As the two attacks cancel each other out, Silver quickly got in front of the boy and kicks him into some frozen rubble. When Kyoya was getting up, he felt something eating at him from the inside. Something he hasn't felt in a while.

"What's wrong? Are you scared, Kyo-chan? Do you want to run away as fast as you can? You know you'll just end up dying if you stay. I'm the only one allowed to kill you. So go ahead, let that fear drive you to survive and run away!!!!!!"

That's right, he forgot what this feeling was for a moment. But that feeling began to hit him at full force when he heard that woman's voice in his head. This feeling was just pure utter fear. As he was getting up, Silver looked at the boy. For a brief moment, his eyes softened as he looked at Kyoya before they glared at him.

"I want to run away. Even now, a voice is screaming inside of my head to run. Even so........"

Soon Kyoya remembered what happened at the Eye of the Midnight Sun's hideout. He remembered the tears that Juvia shed, despite reincarnating into an elf. As he got up, he looked at Silver.

"........I HAVE TO WIN! Not just for my sake, but for her's too."

"Ice doesn't work on me and physical attacks aren't an option for you since I froze just about everything here. Your emotional logic isn't going to work on me."

"There is still one option left."

Silver's eyes became wide with shock when he saw Kyoya take a different stance than the one he used for most of his spells. Soon Kyoya began to release an enormous amount of magical power.

"Iced Shell."

"Quit bluffing, Kyoya! That spell freezes a target forever in exchange for your life! You'd be killing yourself! Plus ice magic doesn't work on me!"

"Really? Think back. This is the same spell that kept you frozen for all those years, Deliora."

"That was before I learned Ice Devil Slayer Magic!!!"

"THEN YOU GOT THE GUTS TO TAKE THIS HEAD ON, RIGHT?! HERE AND NOW, I'LL SURPASS DELIORA, THE DARK TRIAD, AND ALL YOU DEVILS!!!!!!"

Silver couldn't believe what Kyoya was doing. He was willing to go this far just for the sake of killing him. Soon Silver swung his arm at Kyoya, which covered him in ice, but he was shocked to see that what he froze wasn't the real Kyoya.

When Silver turned around, he saw Kyoya in the same stance as he was ready to attack. As this all happened, several thoughts went through Kyoya's head in this brief moment.

"You are my pride and joy. I want you to feel twice as much happiness than I did."

"So please......live."

"Ur, Wendy....i'm sorry......."

As Silver saw Kyoya, he made multiple pillars of ice fall down onto Kyoya's body. When the dust clears, he saw that what he crushed was yet another clone made of ice. While Silver was distracted, Kyoya was behind him as he held an enormous piece of rubble in his right hand.

"....I almost forgot something important. I can't throw away my life so easily. Not after you sacrificed your own lives just so mine could continue!!!!"

"Rubble!!!! But I froze everything in ice. Is he actually capable of melting my ice?!"

"I won't die here. If I did, who would keep the newbies of the Black Bulls in check. Besides.....I don't want to see any of my friends shedding tears!!!!!! Ice-Make:Vambrace!!!!!!!"

Kyoya creates a large gauntlet-like sculpture made of ice around right arm, dramatically enhancing his throwing strength and speed. When he threw the rubble at Silver, it had so much force that it went through the man's chest.

"He faked me out with Iced Shell. So he wasn't going to throw away his life. Thank goodness.....thank goodness he chose to abandon that option."

"Did you honestly think I wouldn't know?"

As Silver was enduring the pain of having a hole in his chest, he looked at Kyoya. The look of hatred was no longer in his eyes. When Silver looked at them, he saw nothing but sorrow.

"When I was planning on using Iced Shell.....you tried to do everything in your power to stop it, that much is true. But it wasn't because you wanted to survive. If you were really a devil you would've simply let me died and be on your way....dammit. Why? Just why? Why did you lie to me like that.....why Dad?! Why are you even here?!"

"Heh.....I guess you would find out. Find out my lie. You're right. I'm not Deliora, i'm not a devil. But i'm also no longer human. In reality.....i'm nothing but a corpse. As for why i'm here...I was waiting for you to kill me."
