"Follow me, we'll take a turn at the left path."

As Kyoya and Juvia were running, they were following Mukuro's lead. It made sense he would know his way around here considering he had one the enemies as his puppet. Yet something didn't feel right to Kyoya. When he looked at Mukuro, he felt as if Mukuro was more impatient than he usually is.

"Mukuro, be honest with us. You're just taking us to this guy you wanna kill, aren't you."

"..........."

"Mukuro!"

All Kyoya got as a response was silence. Soon he decided to drop the subject. As Mukuro looked forward, he felt a strong amount of mana up ahead. He's here, after so many years of being a victim of the Diamond Kingdom's expermiments, Mukuro is finally here to face off against the bastard responsible.

"Ice-Make:Wall!!!!!!"

Kyoya created a large wall of ice in front of the group as he blocked a bullet made of mana from in front of them. When he looked ahead, he saw a single man standing before them as he clapped his hands. But one thought went through Kyoya's mind.

"His face.....he looks just like Mukuro!"

"I congratulate you on making it here, Magic Knights of the Clover Kingdom. My name is Daemon Spade. Former scientist for the Diamond Kingdom. Though I must say....I never expected you to be a part of a magic knight squad, Mukuro."

"Illusion Magic:Corspe Eating Crow!!!!"

Immediately after hearing Daemon's voice, Mukuro conjured a murder of crows as they flew towards the man. Seeing this, the man smiled as a sword appeared in his hands due to him using his own illusions.

"You really have lost your temper, huh Mukuro."

Using the sword that he created from illusion magic, Daemon sent a wave of sword slashes at the crows as they were all being sliced apart. While this happened, Kyoya dashed behind Daemon.

"Ice-Make:Death Scythe!!!!!"

Kyoya first creates a large scythe made out of ice, and then jumps into the air. When he's high enough, he swings the scythe at Daemon but he was surprised when Daemon turned around and blocked the strike from Kyoya's scythe by using one of his own.

"I heard rumors that Mukuro was defeated by an ice mage, are you the one responsible?"

"Water Magic:Water Cyclone!!!!!"

While Daemon blocked Kyoya's attack, Juvia forms a circular torrent of water in front of her hands and uses the cyclone of water to attack him. Seeing this, Daemon was blasted to a wall as Kyoya jumped out of the way.

"I got him!"

"Not quite, but it was a good effort."

Suddenly Juvia was kicked to a wall. When she looked ahead, she saw Daemon was completely unscathed. Seeing this, Daemon smiled at his opponents.

"You three are certainly powerful, but defeating me isn't an easy task."

"Third Path:Tiryagyoni!!!!!!"

As Mukuro used the Third Path, a great number of creatures could be seen forming before him. When Daemon Spade looked at the creatures, he saw them opening their jaws as they ran straight for him.

Daemon quickly charged forward and swung his scythe at one of the creatures. However, he was surprised to see that his scythe didn't cut right through it. As one of the creatures stabs him in his chest, he jumped back as he put a hand on his chest.

"I see. So those creatures are actually real with physical bodies. You've grown up Mukuro. Now that I got a good read on your strengths, let's make this battle more interesting. Illusion Magic:Lying Daemon."

With his grimoire opened, Daemon created an illusion of Kyoya and Juvia as they were both surging with magic power. As Mukuro looked on in annoyance, the real Juvia and Kyoya stepped forward.

"We'll handle these copies, Mukuro!!!"

"I don't know what type of grudge you have against this man, but if it's enough to make you of all people lose his temper then it must be serious. Don't worry, we won't lose to a couple of fakes."

"...kufufu. Fine then, i'll let you handle the copies for now. As for me, i'll kill Daemon myself. Fourth Path:Asura!!!!!"

The number in Mukuro's right eye became the number four as the eye was now surrounded by Mist Flames. Suddenly Mukuro was in front Daemon as he grabbed him by the face and charged through a wall so they could fight in a different location.

"Without Daemon there, you and Juvia can defeat the clones without worrying about more showing up."

"With Juvia and I fighting the clones, you shift all of your focus on the bastard in front of you."

"I'm counting on you, Kyoya/Mukuro!!!!"

As Mukuro left the area, it was just Kyoya and Juvia against their doppelgangers. The two looked at each other as they nod their heads. Soon the copy of Kyoya made the first move.

"Ice-Make:Ice Geyser!!!!!"

The clone uses both hands to freeze the ground in front of him, and creates a single tower of ice spikes that almost impale the real Kyoya and Juvia. However, the real Kyoya smiled as he saw his copy's attempt.

"Ice-Make:Ice Volcano!"

Kyoya slaps his hands on the ground, causing the very earth beneath his fake copy to gape open in the shape of a pit. Snow, hail and large blocks of ice erupt out of the crater, severely damaging the copy and laying waste to the surroundings. The force of the eruption was enough to not only completely negate the copy's spell but it also sent him and the fake Juvia flying back.

"Water Magic:Water Jigsaw!!!!!"

With her grimoire opened, Juvia used her hand to create a face-like entity out of boiling water, using it to fire beams of water at her opponents. The two copies jumped back to avoid her attack but Juvia just smiled.

"Ice-Make:Ice Impact!!!!"

Kyoya creates an intricately-designed hammer made of ice, which he brought down onto the clones, creating a giant impact. As him and Juvia stood side by side, they smiled as they saw their doubles getting up.

"We're not weak enough to lose to someone's image of ourselves."

"After all, we're far stronger than any cheap imitation!"

Mukuro and Daemon Spade were in a new area as Mukuro got the man away from Juvia and Kyoya. He swung his trident at the man, but the man quickly jumped away. Mukuro just smiled as Daemon looked up and saw something approaching him.

Multiple crows were flying towards him in great speeds. As the crows flew towards him, Daemon created a scythe from his illusion as he swung the weapon and slices them apart. When he did, the crows detonated upon contact.

"You have gotten stronger Mukuro. Though to take me to a new area....did you want to protect your friends that badly?"

"Kufufu. Friends? One of them is just a puppet I formed a pact with once. The other is my prime target of taking control over. Plus I didn't split up to protect them. I just wanted the chance to kill you myself. I hope your ready, soon your life will be nothing more than an illusion, Father."
