"Wow, is this your little sister? Nice to meet you, i'm Byakuran."

As Byakuran introduced himself, Kyoya and Wendy stared at him. They both felt a weird sensation, yet he's acting completely normal. Soon Byakuran started to laugh nervously.

"Um....so are you gonna introduce yourselves. I only met you after bumping into each other by accident."

"Right, I didn't give my name back then. I'm Kyoya Fullbuster."

"I'm Wendy Marvell. It's nice to meet you."

Byakuran nods his head as he listened to them. As he looked around, he saw a bakery nearby. Soon he looked towards Wendy and Kyoya.

"Well then, since we're all acquainted, want to stop by that bakery over there. I hear they have amazing sweets. It'll be my treat."

"YES WE WOULD LIKE TO GO!!!!!"

Soon Byakuran nervously chuckled as he saw both Wendy and Kyoya look at him with stars in their eyes. As they all entered the bakery, Kyoya and Wendy immediately got some strawberry cake.

"I swear, it's hard to believe that you two aren't siblings."

"So Byakuran, why did you bring us here?"

Kyoya looked at Byakuran as he ate his cake. While most people would think he was joking, the look in his eyes told Byakuran that he was wary of him. He smiled as he spoke up to Wendy and Kyoya.

"So then, what are you two up to anyways?"

"I was just at the church since I wasn't feeling well. Kyoya was just checking up on me."

Kyoya nods his head as he agreed with Wendy. However, one thing didn't change. The weird sensation he felt in his chest never left. In fact, Wendy felt the same way as well. It was happening when they met each other already, but with Byakuran here, that feeling was magnified.

"Wendy, Kyoya. There is something i'd like to ask you. Would you do anything just to see any family you had left?"

Soon Wendy and Kyoya stopped eating their cake. They both thought about what Byakuran said. They both didn't have anyone to call family that were still alive. Soon Kyoya spoke up to Byakuran.

"I don't have anyone I can call family, but if I did...I would like to see them. At least just once."

"I agree with Kyoya. I never met anyone from my family, so i'm in the same position as him"

Byakuran soon smiled as he heard their answer. As he stood up, he placed money on the table as he was leaving.

"Thanks for the answers. I have to say...it was kind of fun speaking with you both. Well i'll see you later."

Byakuran walks out of the bakery as he had a smile on his face. As he walked outside of Nean, he saw a portal opening up in front of him. Soon Valtos appeared from the portal.

"Valtos, when is Fana going to go retrieve the other magic stone that was located?"

"It should be within a couple of days. Why do you ask?"

"There's a girl with blue hair who stays at the church inside of Nean. When Fana leaves, I want you to bring the girl to Sun Village. Tell Sally to also be ready as she will accompany me to Sun Village in a few days."

Byakuran smiled to himself. The Sanctuary was close by Sun Village. Not only that, one of the magic stones was in the body of someone that made contact with Witch of Greed. He could tell something interesting is about to happen.

"Now then, let's see which one of us deserves to reach Echidna first."

~Meanwhile~
Kyoya was walking Wendy back to the church. On the way there, they just had an idle chat with each other. However, one thing was on Kyoya's mind.

"During the last mission.....I managed to keep fighting. I still felt fear, but I managed to keep fighting. So...has the curse weakened? If so, can I finally speak to someone about it?"

"Kyoya, are you okay?"

"Wendy....i'm sorry but can I get something off my chest."

Soon Wendy nods her head. For some reason, she felt like what Kyoya had to say was very important. As Kyoya puts his hands over Wendy's ears, he starts to say something that he could never mention to anyone else.

"I'm cursed by Megi-"

As soon as Kyoya started the sentence he puts on hand over his chest as he fell to the ground. Soon he covered his mouth with his other hand as he started to cough up a large amount of blood.

"Kyoya?! What happened?!"

"Kyo-chan, you know you can't tell anyone about our little secret. It's only meant to be between you and I. I'm the only one you can turn to, i'm the only one who can cure you! Come, be at my side!!!! All the suffering, pain, and trauma.....i'll give you twice as much love than all of those feelings combined, Kyoya Fullbuster!!!!!!"

Kyoya's face grew pale as he heard this voice in his head. He hates it more than anything. He wished that he never heard this voice. As he slowly stood up, he wipes the blood away from his mouth. Meanwhile, Wendy looked horrified after what just happened.

"Kyoya, do you need to see a doctor?!"

"No....it's fine. I've gotten use to it by now. After all, I hate causing people to worry about me for something I can control. Well.....that and rabbits."

Wendy was still worried about Kyoya. As she was about to ask him if he needed help, she realized she was already back at the church. Soon Kyoya pats her head and smiled.

"Don't worry Wendy, I promise. I'm gonna be just fine."

"Okay...if you say so."

Soon Wendy walked back inside the church as she saw Kyoya flying away on his broom. As he flew away, Wendy couldn't help but smile as she remembered how she spent her time with Kyoya today.

"I wonder if that's what it feels like to have an older brother. If so, that was a pleasant feeling."

~Meanwhile~
A white owl was sitting on the roof of a frozen building. As it looked at the frozen state of Sun Village, it saw Ken walking out of the village with one more person.

"Hurry up, Konro!!!! We have to report back to Benimaru."

"Don't worry, i'm right behind you Ken."

As Ken and Konro ran out the village after learning that all of the villagers were okay, they saw Benimaru using his flames to try to melt the ice but it looks like that it wasn't having any effect. Seeing this, Konro walked towards him.

"Look Beni, you've been at this all day. You should rest for a moment. Besides, it's obvious that this situation will require more than just us. We'll need help from the magic knights."

"Konro, are you serious?! I don't want a damn thing to do with them!"

"I know that Beni, but we have to think of the people at Sun Village too. We can't let our personal affairs cloud our judgement. This is a problem dealing with everyone at Sun Village. Now then, since flame magic isn't doing anything, maybe we should ask for an ice mage to help."

Benimaru sighed as he knew Konro was right. However, he wants to know if there was a way to get a magic knight that they can trust to do this job. Soon Ken remembered something as he looked at Benimaru and Ken.

"Don't worry about who to ask for Benimaru, Konro. I know of an ice mage. I'm not completely certain he can help, but......he's the only ice mage i'm acquainted with. Will that be enough for you to ask the magic knights for assistance Benimaru?"

"Fine. What's the mage's name?"

~Meanwhile~
Kyoya was now in front of the Black Bulls hideout. Soon he walked towards the group but noticed that Asta was missing. Seeing his confusion, Noelle decided to brief him a bit.

"Asta decided that he would go to bed early. But...he felt off today. Like he was forcing himself to be happy."

As she said this, everyone in the Black Bulls nod their heads in agreement. Soon Finral decided that he couldn't just leave them in the dark.

"Actually.....I know the reason why. After Captain Yami, Charmy, Asta, and I went to the capital to escort the prisoners and hand the magic stone to the Wizard King, I over heard Asta's conversation with Owen. He's the best recovery mage in the kingdom yet, even he couldn't heal Asta's arms. Apparently, they can never heal because his arms are affected by an ancient curse."

That word, that five lettered word. As soon as Kyoya heard this, he felt nothing but despair. While this happened, he had an eerie feeling eating away at him on the inside. He didn't know why, but he feels that the worse has yet to come.
