~Flashback~
Ur was seen carrying her daughter on her back. She was having a fever because she had too much magic power for her age. As she walked back into the Diamond Kingdom, she went to an infirmary and asked for Ultear to be treated.

"Please help, I beg of you!!! This girl has too much natural magic power in her body. So much magic power is condensed in her small body that her fever won't go away!!!"

"Do not worry, we will treat her to the best of our abilities. Though it may take some time due to how much magic power she has."

Ur nods her head as she stays at an inn close by the infirmary. As she was sleeping, she kept praying and praying that her only child would be okay. A few days passed and she went to go check up on her child again. Unfortunately, she was met with terrible news.

"What do you mean she's dead?!"

Ur was on the ground as she felt tears running down her face. The doctors who were in charge of helping Ultear just told her something that broke her heart.

"It's just as it sounds. She had so much magic power that even we couldn't handle it. I don't recommend looking at her remains."

"Give her back. Give me back my daughter!!!!! Give Ultear back!!!!!!"

She cried and that's all she could do. She didn't want to accept this reality, yet what choice did she have. Soon she walked back to her home. As she was inside she couldn't think of what to do. She lost something that can never be replaced. In fact, she was her whole reason for living.

Soon Ur walked out of her home. As she walked on the snowy ground, she saw something in the distance approaching her. When she walked forward, all she saw was a young boy standing alone in the snow.

~Flashback ends~
"I won't lose here to you. You're the reason why i'm here in the first place. You're the reason why I wanted to kill my mother...it's all your fault Kyoya Fullbuster!!!!!!"

As Ultear stood up, she glared at Kyoya as she was giving off an incredible amount of magic power. As she looked at Kyoya, she puts her hands together. Kyoya's eyes became wide because he knew that stance.

"Ice-Make:Rosen Krone!!!!"

Ultear creates giant roses and spiked branches made from ice that surround and bind Kyoya. As Kyoya hits the ground, he slowly got up. However, Ultear was wondering why he was smiling.

"This magic is about freedom. There are as many formative spells as there are people. Find your own freedom and then you'll find your way to use this magic."

"I never thought i'd get to see it again. Ur's magic......but of course it's the same. You're her daughter after all."

"Shut your mouth!!!!!!"

Ultear creates several flower-like spheres of ice with spikes on the outside that bloom to attack Kyoya. As this happened, Kyoya lands on one of the spikes and jumped at Ultear.

As this happened, both of them were sent rolling on the ground as they were heading into a current of water. As this happened, Kyoya glared at Ultear.

"How could you end up like this?! Do you think Ur would want you to be like this?! And to train so hard with magic for the reason to kill her.....don't you care about her at all!!!!!"

"How could you ever understand how I feel?! I was abandoned by my mother and replaced by you. How could I ever love a mother who never wanted me in the first place!!!!!!"

~Flashback~
A young girl was seen by herself as she was surrounded by doctors. As she looked around, she only had one question that was in her mind.

"Where is my mother?"

"She already left. She asked us to help  strengthen your magic. We're part of of the research team for the Diamond Kingdom."

"But I-"

"I'm afraid you can't see your mother until your magic power has increased. That was her request."

Soon Ultear cried as stayed in this place. She was tied up as she was experimented on. Her body felt like it was going to quit on her as she endured nothing but pain. Lightning magic shocked her everytime she lost a fight, starvation for not following proper procedures. It was agony.

One day, she saw two boys made an escape from the lab and used their escape as a distraction to go back to her mother. She kept running and running. Her body covered in scrapes, frost bites from head to toe as she walked bare foot in the snow.

"Mother.......i'm h-"

However, when she arrived all she saw was Ur training with a young boy with a smile on her face. It was almost like she never existed to Ur. As she saw this, she felt nothing but anger.

"Unforgivable......unforgivable...."

"Isn't this sad?"

As Ultear turned around, she saw a boy with white hair smiling at her. As he kneeled down, he spoke to her.

"It hurts doesn't it? To see the person you love betray your heart? What if I told you...that feeling can go away. After all, if you get rid of the cause of the problem, what will you be left with?"

"Who are you?"

"My name's Byakuran. Come, if you join with me...we can put your magic to use. To help build a world filled with wonder and interest...and to make your mother pay for her crimes."

~Flashback ends~
"I spent years for that moment. To take revenge on my mother. But then I heard that she was already dead!!!! You took my mother and you took my only goal away from me. How can you possibly understand anything about me?!"

Soon Ultear kicks Kyoya away from her. As she did, she got back up as she stared at the boy before her. Kyoya stood up as he just looked at Ultear.

"You really think Ur abandoned you? You think she would be happy without you? You really think she never loved you?"

"That's right! She never di-"

"Cut the crap!!!!!!"

As soon as Ultear was about to say that Ur never loved her, Kyoya punched Ultear's face as hard as he could. As Ultear looked at Kyoya, she saw him glaring at her.

"You don't know shit!!!! You don't know how many times she's thought of you?! You don't know how much she's cried because you weren't in her life. You're her daughter....you of all people should know....YOU WERE THE REASON UR WANTED TO KEEP ON LIVING!!!!!! IF YOU HATE HER, WHY DID YOU USE HER MAGIC! IF YOU HATE HER, THEN WHY ARE YOU FIGHTING ME AFTER YOU HEARD ABOUT HER DEATH!!!!"

"I WON'T BELIEVE ANY OF YOUR LIES, KYOYA FULLBUSTER!!!!"

As Kyoya shouted, he punched Ultear's face again. While this happened, Ultear drove her fist into Kyoya's face. As they were both sent flying, Kyoya spun his body as he readied his next attack.

"I have no right to judge her. Just as she knows nothing of me, I know nothing of her. While I might think i'm doing good, she may think i'm doing evil. But despite this, I know something that we both have in common. Whether she'll acknowledge it or not, it won't change this fact....we're both connected through Ur. We're the only ones who know of her. If her eyes are blind to the truth about her, then it's my responsibility to help her see it!!!!"

"Your hatred....your darkness.....i'm gonna destroy all of it!!!! That's my wish, that's Ur's wish....and deep down....it's your wish!!!!!! Ice-Make:Rose Garden!!!!!!!"

Kyoya releases chunks of ice in the form of roses and thorns towards Ultear, which attacked and froze her. As she looked at Kyoya, she saw him walking towards her. Soon she began to think to herself.

"Is this how I die? To think I would be defeated so horribly. But that last attack....it looked really beautiful and familiar. It's just like her magic, mother's magic. I always loved seeing it. For some reason, i've always managed to calm down when I think of it. "

"Ur always talked about you. She felt light in her heart and she dreamed of a future full of hope for you. In her eyes, you were a miracle."

"I was so happy then. From this tiny little body... the future holds infinite possibilities. The power of life... I couldn't stop the tears from overflowing... This child is proof of my life... My tear."

Ultear didn't want to believe his words, yet she didn't sense any deceit in his words. As Kyoya stood next to her, he shattered the ice that he trapped Ultear in.

"After you atone, after you pay for all the trouble you caused, after you find your freedom.....let's go home....Ultear."

"...my mother.....was she...was she crying everytime she spoke of me?"

As Kyoya looked at her, he could see tears filling up in Ultear's eyes. Soon he also felt tears begin to form in his own as he looked at her.

"If she was alive, would I be a failure in her eyes? If she was alive, would she hate me? If she was alive, would should wish for my downfall? If she was alive....would she still see me as her daughter? Kyoya, what would Ur...what would my mother think of me if I saw her again?"

"You idiot. You should already know the answer to that. If she was here......."

As soon as she said this, Ultear suddenly felt warm. When she finally looked in front of her, she saw Kyoya hugging her close. As he did this, tears ran down both of their faces.

".......she would be happy just to have you back in her life."
