As Licht was gathering tremendous amounts of mana in his hands, Kyoya was gathering mana around his whole body. Seeing this, Licht spoke up to the boy.

"You're already exhausted, yet you have enough power to cast such a spell. To be honest, I might have a little trouble with this. Such a spell must have a great price."

"Heh, don't think I won't use it. If you're so confident then why try to talk me out of it. You're the leader right?! Surely you can take a spell from a third rate mage like me, right?!"

As this was happening, Yami noticed something about Kyoya's body. It almost looked like the boy's body was slowly turning into ice. Not only that, he felt that Kyoya's ki was getting smaller and smaller as he puts more power into his spell.

"Ki is the life energy that people give off. If Kyoya's ki is getting smaller as he's using that spell then that means...."

Yami couldn't believe what Kyoya was doing. The boy was about to give up his own life, just to save everyone but himself. He was already low on magic power so he couldn't stop Licht's attack. So this must be the only solution Kyoya can come up with.

"I'll seal you and that magic of yours away with all my power!!!!"

"I don't wanna die."

As Yami looked at Kyoya's hands. He noticed how they were shaking uncontrollably. He knew that Kyoya is afraid of dying, so why. Even though he doesn't wanna die, why is he smiling.

"I'll put a stop to you here and now!!!!!!"

"I don't wanna die. I don't wanna die. I don't wanna die!!!! But....if I die, maybe I can be free from this curse. If I die, I can see my parents again. If I die, I can see Ur and Natsu again. If I die, I won't be alone anymore......"

The more that Kyoya thought about it, the more his smile grew and the more that his body was shaking. If he dies, he won't be consumed by fear. If he dies, he won't be harmed by the curse. In his eyes, he's already lost everything. Plus who would miss a nobody like him anyways.

"Well then, let's see if your spell has as much power as you say. Light Magic:Light Shaft of Divine Punishment!"

Licht concentrates light between his hands until it builds into a large sphere. The light is released in a column of light that was too fast and wide to avoid. Just as this happened, Kyoya was ready to use his own spell.

"Heh, good thing i've always been alone. That means no one will miss me. Ice Sealing Magic:Iced She-"

Before Kyoya could cast his spell a spatial magic portal appeared in front of him. As this happened, Gauche jumped out of the portal as he revealed his left magic eye.

"Mirror Magic:Full Reflect!!!!!"

Gauche jumps in front of the incoming spell and enlarges the mirror to the size of it. The incoming spell was then reflected back towards Licht. Soon Licht's body was enveloped by the light magic that he casted. As the light dies down, he lands on the ground as he was gravely injured.

"Gauche....what the hell are you-"

Suddenly Gauche punched Kyoya into the ground. As this happened, Kyoya looked at him with an annoyed expression on his face.

"What the hell was that for?!"

"I already told you that dying would make Marie sad. So why? Why were you gonna cast a spell that would take the life of it's own wielder huh?! Why were you just going to kill yourself?!"

Asta and Finral looked at Kyoya in shock. Was he really going to die if he cast that spell? Soon Yami walked up to Kyoya and punched his head.

"Listen up brat, I didn't let you join my squad just so you could throw your life away. Besides....you got a legacy to carry on. After all, you're Ur's first and only student. You've got to prove to the world just how strong both you and her are."

"Captain........."

"Plus if you died, we wouldn't be able to eat any shaved ice for free?"

"You cheap Magic Knight Captain!!!!!!"

Soon Yami began to laugh after seeing the expression on Kyoya's face. Then one after another, all the Black Bulls began to share a laugh. They couldn't leave with Finral's spatial magic since he used it to transport the children over great distances while they fought. As they wait for him to regain his magic, a headpiece could be seen in Valtos' ear.

~Meanwhile~
"Hmm....Licht-chan and Valtos got defeated. That's a shame. First Sally and now them."

A single man could be seen in front of a tube that held Sally's body. As she was recovering, the man turned towards three people as he smiled.

"Well then, could you three head over there and pick up Licht and Valtos. I'm sure Rhya touched Valtos' grimoire so he can use his spatial magic."

"That is true, well i'll go even if it's a pain. What about you, Fana?"

As he turned towards Fana, the girl simply nods her head. Now they only needed Vetto to agree. Of course when he heard this he immediately nods his head. Seeing this, Rhya used spatial magic to open a portal to Licht's location. As this happened, Rhya yawned as they were walking through the portal.

"Alright everyone, let's get going."

As the Third Eye left the hideout, the man smiled as he looked at the ceiling. As this happened, he spoke to himself.

"Myself, Wendy, Zancrow, Mukuro, and Kyoya. Only two more individuals are left unaccounted for. I wonder which one of us will inherit Echidna's wish. That aside.....I can't wait for the day we fight, Kyoya Fullbuster."

~At the cave~
As Finral was recovering his magic power, Yami used his dark magic to restrain Valtos and Licht. Suddenly his eyes became wide as he jumped back. He sensed powerful mana and ki entering the area as he saw a portal opening up. Soon three individuals walked out as they were staring at Yami and his squad.

"What's going on? Finral is still recovering, plus the creepy guy is still unconscious."

"Man this is going to be a pain."

As Yami was trying think of a plan, Rhya yawned as he knew they had a lot of work to do. Soon he used light magic to get in front of Yami instantly. As he touched Yami's grimoire, the captain quickly swung his blade as it slashed Rhya's arm. As this happened, Licht spoke up to them.

"I'm sorry, my power alone wasn't enough to defeat them. Thank you for coming."

"Do not worry, Master Licht. We shall take care of this. Flame Recovery Magic:Phoenix Feathers Robe."

Fana envelops Licht's body in flames which flair out like a pair of wings. As the flames burn, Licht's body was being healed and his stamina was rejuvenating. As this happened, Vetto stepped forward.

"You insects, do you know what we do to people who hurt our comrades?!"

"Hehe. Its over, Yami Sukehiro. They will surely bring you down. I may be the leader, but i'm not the only person you should be wary of. Though one person is missing, these three are the strongest of the Eye of the Midnight Sun. They greatly surpass a squad captain. Everyone, i'm counting on you."

"Yes, Master Licht."

Soon Fana, Rhya, and Vetto unleashed their own magic power. As this happened, Kyoya was thinking about what to do. How can he get them out of this situation? However, as this happened, he sensed multiple people heading towards them. When he turned around, he saw a white owl accompanying three people.

"They surpass a captain huh, well then....let's put that to the test shall we."

"Honestly, to think I would help two foreigners and a bunch of commoners."

"I hate having to work with men, but we have a job to do."
