Wendy and Kyoya smiled at each other as Zancrow was on the ground defeated. Before Kyoya had a chance to restrain him, he felt an enormous surge of magic power. When he turned around, he saw the Wizard King appear before him along with Asta.

"Oh, so you've defeated one of the attackers. I knew I sensed some powerful mana here. You did a great job Kyoya. Don't worry i'll take it from here. Time Restraining Magic:Chrono Stasis."

Soon Zancrow's body was trapped within a sphere that had a ring around it with Roman Numerals on it. As Julius smiles he looked at Wendy and Kyoya.

"He had enough magic power to take on this enemy single handedly. However, that girl he was protecting also had high amounts of magic power. But for him to fight so hard to protect her despite being from Spade Kingdom. This boy has a good heart and power to back it up. He's certainly gained my trust and it looks like i'm not the only one who feels the same way."

Julius turned his gaze to Wendy. He noticed that she hasn't left Kyoya's side yet. Not to mention that she looked so relaxed around him despite what just happened earlier. Soon the Wizard King smiled as he spoke up.

"Now then, you defeated an enemy and managed to restrain him. Let's regroup with the other magic knights and share any information we learned."

Kyoya nods his head as he follows Julius and Asta. When he was walking, he noticed Wendy was holding his hand. Soon he smiled as he spoke to her.

"Don't worry. I won't leave you by yourself until you've returned home safely. So for now, just bare with me for a little longer."

~Meanwhile~
Noelle was worried about both Asta and Kyoya as they were all separated from each other. After Fuegoleon lost his arm and hasn't woken up, her concern was very high. Soon she felt a hand on her shoulder, when she turned around she saw Klaus.

"Don't worry about Asta and Kyoya. They're fighters after all. I'm sure they'll regroup with us at any second now."

Even though he said this, Klaus was also worried. Not only because of Asta and Kyoya were missing, but because of what happened before. When Kyoya revealed his grimoire, everyone saw what was on the cover.

"I know he attacked Solid and Nebra for Noelle's sake, but the fact remains he's from the Spade Kingdom. There's a small chance people may try to blame the attack on him for that reason."

As Klaus was thinking to himself, he felt a large amount of magic power. As everyone in the area turned around they saw Asta, Kyoya, and the Wizard King. Not only that, they saw two captives with the Wizard King and a girl that was staying behind Kyoya.

"Nice to see everyone is doing well. So then. What exactly happened?"

Soon Noelle explained the situation to Julius. Fuegoleon lost his arm and was in a coma. Not only that, the pendant that he always had went missing. Afterwards, Julius looked towards Kyoya to see if he knew anything.

"Sorry, but all I got from Zancrow was the name of the organization. The Eye of the Midnight Sun."

However, that wasn't entirely everything that Kyoya knew. He remembered what Zancrow told him about the Witch of Greed. He didn't have enough information so sharing that knowledge now would just leave to more confusion. But one thing was for certain to the ice mage.

"First with Mukuro, then Zancrow, and now Wendy. Whenever i'm overcome with this weird sensation its around people who have supposedly met this Witch of Greed. Not only that....each of those people possessed a unique kind of magic excluding myself. Just who is this witch?"

Seeing how anxious Kyoya was, Julius put a hand on the boy's shoulder to ease his nerves. Soon the Wizard King looked at all the magic knights in the area as he had only one thing to say to them.

"We'll interrogate the people that we have captured. I have only one thing to say to the magic knights. To protect and preserve the peace of the Clover Kingdom. We must grow stronger to be able to do so. I hope you understand."

"We do, but there is still one issue that must be addressed."

Soon everyone's attention shifts towards Solid. When he looked at Kyoya, a vicious smile was on his face as he spoke towards Julius.

"Don't you find it odd that the Clover Kingdom was attacked and that the boy who wields ice magic just so happens to be from Spade Kingdom, one of our enemy kingdoms. Who's to say that he isn't a spy? Perhaps he planned this invasion ever since he joined the magic knights."

Soon everyone shifts their focus onto Kyoya. Its true that he wasn't from the Clover Kingdom, plus he did attack two nobles and never really cared for royalty. As Asta and Noelle were ready to defend Kyoya, Wendy quickly spoke up.

"You're wrong, completely wrong!!!! Kyoya would never do such a thing!!! He fought so hard just to save me even though we only just met. If he really was with the people who attacked the capital, why would he go out of his way to fight his own allies just to save me. Say what you want, but I know the truth. Kyoya Fullbuster is a nice person!!!!"

Kyoya's eyes became wide when he heard what Wendy said. Asta and Noelle smiled as they agreed with what Wendy said. Soon Kyoya puts his hand on Wendy's shoulder. As she looked at him, she saw him shaking his head.

"I'm not as nice of a person that you think I am Wendy. Besides, I don't give a damn what that bastard says about me. I'll let my actions and their results speak for me to prove i'm not a traitor. I may be from Spade Kingdom, but i'll never pledge my allegiance to it!"

"You heard the boy's words. Besides, I believe Kyoya truly is someone to keep his promise. Not to mention that what this young girl said is correct. If he was an enemy, he wouldn't have needed to fight during the invasion and he could've left with the attackers at any moment. So let's trust the boy. He may be from the Spade Kingdom, but he's still a magic knight of the Clover Kingdom."

After saying this, Julius went to the dungeon with the two captives trapped in his magic. Soon everyone was returning to their own headquarters. Meanwhile, Kyoya was on his broom and taking Wendy back to her home. She lived in a church in Nean, a populous town in the Common Realm.

"Kyoya, what did you mean back there? About not being a nice person."

"It's true Wendy. After all.....a nice person wouldn't let their teacher and only friend die."

"Kyoya......."

Soon Wendy could see that they landed in front of the church she lives in. As she starts to walk inside, she turned towards Kyoya with a smile on her face.

"You may say that, but I bet a lot of people already see how kind you are. I hope that someday that you can see it too. Also, thank you for saving me."

"Heh. It's no problem Wendy. After all, it's my job as a magic knight."

Soon Kyoya was flew away as he was heading back home to his squad. As this happened, a weird feeling was eating at him. He felt as if something major was going to happen.

"The witch of Greed....just what is so special about her?"

~Meanwhile~
Julius was seen in the dungeon. As he just placed the new fugitives inside their own cells, he was walking down the deepest part of the dungeon. As he was standing in front of one cell, he only said one thing.

"Listen, I have a favor to ask of you. Plus I believe it may be something you might be interested in. After all, it involves the same person who defeated you. As such, you're the best person to judge him without any preconceived notions. Isn't that right, Mukuro Rokudo?"
