As Mars saw that the number of his opponents was increasing, he made more clones of himself out of his magic.

"It is the strong who remain, while the weak fade away. The battlefield is a place of power. There is no place for the weak."

"Is that so....then let's see if you can live up to those words."

Asta quickly dashed behind Mars and swung his sword. When his blade connected, his eyes became wide when he noticed that he attacked a clone.

"I fully intend to."

When Asta lifts his head, he saw Mars swing down his arm as the sword made from his magic followed his lead. Seeing this, Asta jumped high in the air and swung his blade. When his sword made contact with Mars' blade, the blade made of magic was sliced in half. Asta landed on the broken blade and ran forward.

Asta jumped off the broken blade as he swung his sword at Mars. This resulted in Mars being flung towards the ceiling. Soon Mars began to fall towards the ground. The diamond mage spun his body as he coats his hand with his magic. Seeing this Asta smirked as he swung his sword.

When Mars' hand made contact with Asta's sword, the crystals around it broke apart as he felt the full force of Asta's sword swing. Mars was sent flying backwards as he fell in the water that was in the area.

"As long as i'm here.....no one is going to die!!!!!"

~Meanwhile~
As Kyoya was walking forward, he saw light at the end of the  path ahead of him. However, the ominous feeling never left his body. As the illusion of someone from his past kept holding him closely, she smiled.

"Kyoya....you know you can't win at your state. You should run. Just leave them behind. You need to get much stronger. After all, if you show up now and give them hope...it'll bring them more despair when they see you die. Plus what if they see your grimoire. Will they still see you as an ally or will they betray you?"

"Shut up....shut up, shut up, shut up!!!! You don't know anything."

"That mindset and weakness...wasn't that exactly what lead to that incident? That led to your precious teacher's death. Not only her's....but even the death of your only friend."

An image of an old friend flashed in Kyoya's mind. As he fell to the ground, the woman smiled as she held him close. The look of despair on his face, the way he was reaching his breaking point. He looked so vulnerable, yet she couldn't stop smiling. As she slowly vanished from his sight, she listened to him one last time.

"Their deaths........were all my fault?"

"Can you handle it Kyoya? Being the cause of even more deaths."

~With Asta~
As Asta looked at where Mars was, he could tell that he wasn't finished. Soon Asta saw something rising out of the water. He saw a large amount of crystals heading for him. As he used his sword to cut them apart, he was surrounded by another multitude of crystals as they crashed into him.

When the crystals were moved out the way, it revealed Asta in an injured state as some of his clothes were torn and he was bleeding from his head. As he looked up, he saw Mars staring at him.

"Just what are you boy?"

"Me.....i'm a guy born without any magic power. But even so....i'm still going to be the Wizard King!!!! I'll fight and bleed all I have to. I'll prove that I can do it!!!!!"

As Mars looked at Asta, he felt a strange irritation towards him. As he was ready to attack the boy, he only said one thing to him.

"You're in my way. Begone, pebble!!!"

"Yeah, I may be a pebble. But if so......i'll become a pebble that shatters the diamond!!!!!!"

Asta puts all of his strength into his legs as he jumps at Mars with incredible speed. As he swung his sword at Mars, the diamond mage's eyes became wide when he saw the armor he made has shattered once Asta's sword hit him. Soon Mars was sent flying backwards as he landed harshly on the ground.

~With Kyoya~
Kyoya finally reached the end of the path. When he did, he saw his squad mates and the Golden Dawn in front of the door of the treasure room. When he walked close to them, Noelle looked at him in shock.

"What happened to him, he looks like he's in horrible shape. Since he manage to arrive here, he must've beaten the last diamond mage....so why does he look horrified."

"I'm sorry that i'm late......."

Kyoya apologized for taking so long. As he looked at Yuno and Asta, he chuckled a bit as he saw what terrible shape that the two boys were in. Soon he looked at the diamond mage that Asta just defeated. After realizing what happened, Kyoya said one thing.

"Wow.....you guys.....look like shit."

"Excuse me!!! You're the one who showed up late and injured!!!!!!!"

As Asta yelled at Kyoya, the ice mage merely laughed. As this happened, Klaus confiscated Mars' grimoire and used his magic to restrain the mage. As this happened, he looked at Kyoya.

"That commoner managed to beat that monstrous diamond mage we saw at the beginning by himself! Though it seems he has sustained some damage as well."

"So Asta, think you can do something about this giant door?"

As Kyoya asked this, Luck made his way to the door and inspects it. As he did, he could tell that it was made of magic. Soon he nods his head at Kyoya as he confirmed this. Seeing this, Kyoya smiled at Asta.

"Okay, Asta. You know what to do."

"Yes sir!!!!!!"

Asta swung his sword multiple times at the dungeon door. When he was finished, the door split apart as the Black Bulls and Golden Dawn walk into the treasure room. When they did, one thought entered Asta's mind.

"I'm glad Kyoya's alright. But why does it feel like he's forcing himself to look okay?"

As everyone was entering the treasure room, Kyoya made sure that he was walking in front of the group. As he was walking, he remembered the words that were spoken to him.

"That mindset and weakness...wasn't that exactly what lead to that incident? That led to your precious teacher's death. Not only her's....but even the death of your dear friend."

"Sadness is just another wall that blocks you from moving on. I know it's hard to get past it, but you got to break through. Those were the words I said to Luck. Ha! In the end, i'm just a foolish hypocrite."
