"Captain."

After so much fighting, the Black Bulls' goal was almost complete. They defeated Megicula like they planned in the Heart Kingdom. They defeated the Dark Triad just like Nacht had planned.  However, Kyoya couldn't shake this eerie feeling dwelling within him. Soon he looked at his feet as he saw the book that Moris held. Just as he picked it up and strapped it to his side, he heard someone laughing hysterically. When he looked in the direction of the laugh, he saw a mouth appearing upon Moris' head as he felt the mana from him. This was the work of a devil.

"I applaud you for all your hard work, human."

All the mages on the battlefield felt a shiver down their spines as they sensed a large amount of mana. Soon several figures began to emerge from underneath the castle. Lucifero laughed as he knew exactly what was happening. The second layer of the gate to the underworld has been opened.

"The gate has opened even faster. Now that i've squeezed the life out of its accelerants, I am capable of interfering with any lower devil even without the Qliphoth."

As Lucifero said this, a huge eruption occured from within the castle. An enormous amount of devils were seen emerging as the two layers have finally been opened. However, Kyoya's eyes widen in shock with what he was witnessing.

"The devil's are all gathering in one spot?!"

"Now that up to two layers have been opened, all the devils of the first and second layer....."

As Kyoya and the rest of the Black Bulls saw this, their hair shadowed their eyes with what they were witnessing. Soon Kyoya walked over to Charmy as she had a plate of food ready. As Kyoya began to chow down on the food, he spoke to the Black Bulls as he was busy getting his magic power restored.

"This could very well be the last fight of this war. Like Captain Yami would say, SURPASS YOU LIMITS, EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!"

~Inside of the Black Bulls Hideout~
Almost all of the member were currently sitting in one area together as they were helping Henry with controlling the hideout. Using his skills in detecting mana, Luck told the group where he located both Captain Yami and Vangeance.

Soon the Black Bulls hideout struck the giant mass of devils that made up Lucifero's manifestation with both of its arms as it tried to grab Vangeance and Yami. Meanwhile, Nacht was in his Devil Union form as he was standing upon the shoulder of the Black Bulls Hideout and observing the situation.

"Lucifero has become one with the Qliphoth and manifested through possession. That makes Yami and Vangeance the core of the possession. If we can save those two, we can stop him from manifesting completely. We absolutely can't allow him to be released."

As this went on, Henry was beginning to struggle. He was absorbing the devil's mana, but it was overflowing so much that the absorption couldn't keep up. Vanessa was even worried since Rogue has her hands full protecting the hideout's center. Soon Nacht began to think to himself as the rest of the Black Bulls we're holding off the devil.

"Keep the pressure up, Black Bulls. Until our two trump cards are ready!!!!!"

Just as the hideout and the devil were trading blows, everyone on the battlefield felt an immense pressure. It felt as if the air itself was trying to pin them to the ground without any sign of letting up. Soon the citizens of Spade Kingdom were starting to lose hope as the gravity from Lucifero held them down. It seemed like the Black Bulls were gonna lose. However, the Black Bulls kept attacking as they all had the same thought.

"It's up to you two now."

~Meanwhile~
"I can tell from his ki, Kyoya-Senpai made it to his position."

On top of a cliff that was a few miles away from Lucifero's body, Asta took the Demon-Slasher Katana out of his grimoire as Liebe was on his shoulder. He took a deep breath as he was concentrating. As this happened, Liebe spoke to him.

"Lucifero is manifesting. However, if we do this right, we can save those captains without hurting them or the others. And if Lucifero somehow is still kicking, we'll tag team him with the ice bastard."

"We can cut that much, can't we?"

"We will cut it."

"To save our captain......"

"To avenge Licita.........."

"We won't let Lucifero emerge!!!!!"

Soon Asta draws on to Liebe's power as the devil's body began to assimilate with his own. As Asta grabbed the hilt of his katana with both hands, he was thinking to himself in this moment.

"Demon Slasher:Infinity Slash~Equinox!!!"

After merging with Liebe and holding the katana over his head, Asta performed a downward slash that produced a massive flying slash of Anti-Magic. The attack travelled miles without losing its edge. Soon the body of the devil was split in half as two bodies were seen falling out of the body. Just as the body of the devil was about to fall onto the civilians, Asta smiled.

"It's okay. Those two got it covered."

~Meanwhile~
"Of course you'd do something this crazy and expect me to clean up after you. You're gonna get it Asta!!! You ready, Yuno?!"

"Let's do this, Kyoya."

As Asta's attack slashed Lucifero's body, the Devil Slayer markings appeared on the left side of Kyoya's body as Yuno let Bell assimilate into his body in order to my use Spirit Dive. As the two boys made a bow of their respective elements, they took aim at Lucifero.

"Spirit of Euros!!!"

"Ice Devil's Zeroth Destruction Bow!!"

The moment the two arrows connected with the remains of Lucifero's body, the body was torn to pieces and swiftly frozen solid. As this happened, both William and Yami were both safely on the ground thanks to the help of the other captains and the Black Bulls. Soon Yami looked at his squad, minus Asta and Kyoya who were far away, and smiled.

"Well done.....all of you."

"So you're the captain of the Black Bulls. Kyoya told me a lot about you."

As Yami and the Black Bulls looked at the person who spoke, they saw Benimaru and Xanxus approaching them. As Benimaru looked at the Black Bulls squad, he let a sigh escape from his lips.

"You're all a bunch of idiots. So you're basically the perfect squad for him. I'm not sure if he told you about his past, but if this fight is really over...... I think he might just be able to be even more open with you all."

"Why are you all taking it so easy?"

Benimaru, Xanxus, and the rest of the Black Bulls were surprised to see a Devil so close to them without them even noticing. Nacht's eyes widen in horror as he realized what devil this creature was.

"The supreme devil of the second gate?!"

"Lucifero's manifestation is halfway through."

Just as the devil said this, a giant pile of flesh from Lucifero's remains was seen floating in the air. In a matter of moments, a body was seen forming from this mass as a hand was pointing towards the Magic Knight captains and everyone else.

"Your heads......are raised far too high."

As Lucifero said this, an intense gravity was being applied as everyone was seen falling face first onto the ground with no chance of standing back up. It was challenging to even raise a finger, let alone their whole body.

~With Asta~
"Everyone!!!!"

As Asta was flying towards everyone upon his Anti-Magic sword, he suddenly saw someone appear right next to him without him noticing. Liebe and himself were both surprised by this fact the moment they saw the person responsible.

"You're the bastard who was foolish enough to interfere with my complete manifestation. When I'm done with you...he'll be next. The descendant of Zeref."

~With Kyoya~
"Yuno, Mimosa!!! We have to hurry."

Kyoya was seen rushing forward as he sensed a sinister mana as Mimosa and Yuno were close behind him. However, as this happened, the book that Kyoya held on the right side of his hip began to emit a dark mana. The very book that he retrieved after Moris' defeat, the Book of Zeref. Suddenly Kyoya stopped running as his head felt light, almost like he could pass out in any moment. Before collapsing onto the ground, as he heard Yuno and Mimosa call out to him, Kyoya heard a voice inside of his head.

"To think my own book would finally find its way in the hands of my descendant. I think it's about time. Now come to me, Kyoya Fullbuster."

~Clover Kingdom: Sanctuary~
"It would seem like things are going as planned."

As she sat alone in the Sanctuary, Echidna drunk a cup of tea as she was aware of the situation at hand. The mana she felt was so familiar to her, she could instantly tell what was happening to the Child of Greed. Soon a smirk began to form on her face.

"Your book which is basically your research and grimoire merged together. A person who's not only your descendant but also a vessel of your soul. When these things are finally so close together, it would be surprising if you DIDN'T start to wake up. It's time to stop sleeping, Zeref."
