"Unison Raid:Ice Wave!!!!!!"

Utilizing the water controlled by Noelle, Kyoya solidified the water into a large wave of sharp ice spikes, piercing Vanica's body and freezing her in the process. Soon Noelle and Kyoya stopped holding hands as they looked at Vanica. The black markings on the right side of Kyoya's body slowly shrinking until only the mark of his Devil Slayer Magic was left on his right arm.

"Did that work?"

"Trust me Noelle. Out of everyone here, i've dealt with her the longest. This isn't enough to defeat her, especially with access to one-hundred percent of her devil's power. This is only the beginning."

As Kyoya said this, he saw the ice that Vanica was trapped in beginning to shatter. Soon the ice broke apart as Vanica looked at the two mages. A smile forming on her face as her blood spilled on the ground.

"You two really are fun! More! More!!!! Let's paint the battlefield red with our blood!!!!!!! Blood Magic:Slicing Exorcism!!!!!!"

With her grimoire opened, Vanica created streams of blood capable of easily slicing through human bodies. As the attack was heading for Noelle and Kyoya, it sliced apart some of the walls and left carvings into the ground. Soon Kyoya stood in front of Noelle with a smirk on his face.

"Ice Magic:Zero Point Breakthrough!!!!!"

With his grimoire opened, Kyoya generated a large amount of ice magic in his hands. Before Vanica's attack made contact, the spell was suddenly frozen in place. However, what truly shocked Vanica was how her connection to the trapped spell was completely severed.

"He sealed my spell away. What would happen if he did that to my body? Hehehehe! Hahahahahaha!!!! Entertain me more, Kyoya Fullbuster!!!!!!"

"Curse-Warding Magic:Dea Yggdrasil!!!!!"

With her grimoire opened and utilizing Thorn Curse, Vanica creates a massive spinning sphere from her hand from where an immense wooden beam is fired towards Noelle and Kyoya.

"I'll handle Vanica. Think you can handle this Kyoya?"

"Who do you think you're talking to? I'm a member of the strongest magic knight squad. If I can't stop this, then I don't deserve to be in Captain Yami's squad!!!!!"

Noelle smiles as she flew in the air while Vanica's attention was focused on Kyoya. Meanwhile, the ice mage saw the attack falling down at an incredible pace. However, he noticed something as this happened.

"My curse....usually when I face an opponent stronger than me, it makes me want to run for my life. Yet, that isn't happening right now. At this moment, I don't feel fear. Which means....."

"You're nothing to fear anymore. Ice Devil's Fang!!!!!!!"

Kyoya jumped up in the air and clads his arms in ice. As his right fist connected with Vanica's attack, he followed it up with numerous consecutive punches. Soon Vanica's spell was frozen solid and shattered after falling victim to Kyoya's punches.

"More...more......that power, your desire to defeat me, that hope you have in your eyes. I can't wait to see you drown in despair as I embrace you!!!! Kyoya, I love you and you alone!!!!! Now then, show me you are worthy of my recognition!!!!!!"

"Heh. You feel that strongly about me? Well, I can agree that I do have a strong feeling towards you. Since you love me so much, i'll hate you in equal measure. Besides......it seems you've forgotten something."

"Water Creation Magic:Point-Blank Sea Dragon's Roar!!!!!"

While Vanica was distracted by Kyoya, Noelle flew behind Vanica and pierced her with her lance from her Valkyrie Dress. After piercing Vanica, Noelle creates a large dragon head, with her inside of its throat. Afterwards, Noelle made the dragon's mouth slam shut onto Vanica.

"Kyoya!!!!"

"I'm on it!!!!! Ice-Make:Ocean!!!!!"

As Noelle flew away from Vanica, Kyoya joined his hands together and slammed them into the large body of water, completely freezing it in only a matter of seconds. As Noelle and Kyoya land on the ground, they both saw Vanica crash into the ground as the ice shattered.

"Hahahahahahah!!!! This is too much fun!!!!!"

"Dammit!!! No matter what we do, she keeps getting back up like nothing happe-"

"Look closely, Noelle."

As Kyoya said this, Noelle noticed how calm Kyoya was. When she looked ahead, her eyes widen in shock. As Vanica stood up, she was soaked in her blood and was shivering. Though what surprised her is how much damage Vanica has taken.

"Don't let her insane nature fool you. My magic was made for killing devils, so of course we're doing damage. She's just the crazy type of person who'd get back up and ask for more without giving a damn about what happens to her."

"You know me so well, my dear. So then...how about I stop holding back!!!! Blood Creation Magic:Supernova!!!!!"

With her grimoire opened, Vanica compressed and condensed her blood to its absolute limit, creating several orbs of blood. Afterwards, Vanica caused the orbs to shoot out in every direction like a buckshot.

Kyoya and Noelle screamed in pain. The spell was too fast to defend against plus it takes too much time to use a spell to defend both of them in all angles. As Vanica saw their pained expressions, she laughed as she decided to continue the torment.

"Curse-Warding Magic:Explosion Wave!!!!!!"

With her grimoire opened and using Bomb Curse, Vanica swings both of her arms as she creates a wall of explosions. Kyoya and Noelle's screams intensified as they felt the full force of the explosions. If not for Mana Skin, they would be burned alive.

"Now then, for the grand finale!!!!!! Curse-Warding Magic:Memento Mori!!!!!"

An instant. What happened next was only for an instant for Noelle. As soon as Vanica was getting ready to use her spell, Kyoya pushed Noelle out of the way. However, what truly made Noelle's eyes become wide was the smile on his face.

"Don't worry, Noelle."

"KYOYA!!!!!!"

Vanica produced a dark paralytic mist around Kyoya that envelops him, creating a massive beam of dark spirits that reaches towards the sky. Victims of this Curse are no longer alive nor dead, but are simply erased, becoming nothing for eternity.

"Kyoya. I'm far stronger than Mard Geer. So of course the power of Memento Mori being casted by me is far superior to when Mard Geer used it. If only a corpse remained for me to caress. Kyoya Fullbuster, you truly were entertaining. But to die so easily....I guess I was wrong to acknowledge you as my love."

"Kyoya......"

As Vanica looked at Noelle, she saw the look of horror on the mage's face. Soon a smile began to form on Vanica's face as she walked towards the water mage, who had a look of utter despair on her face.

"Well at least you can help me kill some time. Come on, Noelle!!!! Avenge your weak mother, rescue Loropechika, avenge my fallen love!!!! Get up and fight!!!!!"

Just as Vanica said this, she created a giant claw out of blood magic and slammed it down onto Noelle. However, something was wrong. Vanica screamed in pain as her body felt cold. When she looked forward, she saw a wall of ice in front of Noelle.

"This ice...."

"You think it's that easy to get rid of me. As long as their are devils ruining our world....I DON'T HAVE TIME TO DIE!!!!!!"

Vanica and Noelle couldn't believe what they saw. Standing before them, after taking Memento Mori head on, was Kyoya Fullbuster. As they looked at him, they saw the black markings on his body covering the entire left half of his body as his left eye became red. To become part devil, to gain an immunity (to a limited degree) against curses, the Devil Slaying Magic's equivalent to Dragon Force. This was known as Demonize. Right now, the closest to being a devil wasn't Vanica. It was Kyoya Fullbuster.

"You just keep giving me more and more reason to love you....Kyoya Fullbuster. You always keep surprising. I can't wait to have you in my clutches!!!"
