"Now then, let's see if you can survive."

Xanxus aimed one of his guns behind him. As he did this, he stored his flame magic inside of his weapon. When he pulled the trigger, a strong flame was released from the gun and he used the force to propel himself towards Kyoya. When he got close, he kicked the boy's head into the ground.  Soon he jumped into the air as he aimed both of his guns at Kyoya.

"Flame Magic:Scoppio d'Ira!!!!!!"

Xanxus charges up his guns with his Flames of Wrath and unleashes a barrage of shots made from his magic simultaneously that appear to fuse together into one large powerful blast. As this happened, Kyoya tried to defend himself.

"Ice-Make:Wall!!!!!"

Kyoya quickly made a wall of ice to defend himself, but as soon as Xanxus attack connected, the wall of ice melted as Kyoya was hit directly by the attack. He coughed up blood as he hit the ground while his body felt hot.

"His flames are incredible. The moment they touch my ice, it melts it completely. What do I do? What would Ur do in this situation?"

As Xanxus looked at Kyoya, he saw the look in his eyes. This boy hasn't given up, he still believes that he can beat him. Just seeing Kyoya's eyes made his blood boil. He'll make sure this scum regrets that he even thought about winning against him.

"Arrogant brat, looking down on me just like that bastard Silver. Those eyes....i hate those damn eyes. I'll make sure that you regret facing me you damn brat!!!!!!! Flame Magic:Bocciolo di Fiamma!!!!!!!"

Xanxus uses one gun for propulsion while using the other gun to shoot at Kyoya from different angles in the air. As Kyoya felt his body being hit by the force of Xanxus' attack, the man simply laughed.

"How does it feel you damn scum. To be overpowered with no hope of victory. You should just lie down and drop dead!!!!!!"

As Kyoya was viciously being attacked, he felt himself getting severely injured as he found no opportunity to counterattack. As this happened, he began to find it hard to breathe.

"Mana skin......by coating my body with mana, i've managed to keep myself from being burned alive. But this won't be enough. Freezing his attacks like I would normally do won't work so what can I-"

Kyoya felt himself getting blast into a wall as Xanxus simply laughed at the boy. He knew he was far above Kyoya and he was entertained to see the ice mage struggle as he tries to fight back.

As he looked at the wall that he saw Kyoya crash into, he landed on the ground as he walks towards the area. As he did, he saw Kyoya jump high into the air.

"Ice-Make:Death Scythe!!!!!"

Kyoya creates a giant scythe made out of ice and swung it at Xanxus. Seeing this, Xanxus used both of his guns to guard himself from the full force of Kyoya's attack. Seeing this, Kyoya smiled as he quickly shattered the ice in front of Xanxus as he was planning his next attack.

"Ice-Make:Ice Hammer!!!!!"

Kyoya creates a giant spiked hammer made out of ice and hammers it onto Xanxus as the man got slammed into the ground. As this happened, Kyoya landed on the ground. When Xanxus got up, he looked at Kyoya with anger.

"You bastard........just drop dead!!! You only got a lucky hit, so don't get cocky!!!!"

"You're so positive that i'm underestimating. Xanxus, i've never looked down on you. To be honest, you're overestimating yourself. Whenever I surpass your expectation, you always blame me to avoid the fact that you're not as invincible as you think. Besides......there's a reason why you won't beat me."

As Kyoya said this, he remembered what Yami told him. To dig deep and surpass his limits. In one swift motion, Kyoya took off his shirt as the only thing remaining on his body was his Black Bulls Robe.

"And that's because.......I'm a member of the Black Bulls!!!!"

~With Asta~
Asta was right next to Luck and Noelle as they all were face to face with Lotus. As Asta gripped his blade tightly, he looked at Luck as he was ready to lend a hand. However, Luck simply ran towards Lotus as he was ready to attack.

"I'll take care of him myself. Otherwise, my mother won't accept me."

"Well then, with all your friends here to back you up, I guess I better not hold back."

Lotus quickly dodged Luck's attack as he fills the air with more smoke. Luck chases after Lotus in the smoke but his attacks kept missing as Lotus simply dodges and adds more smoke in the area.

"I.....I.....I need to make mother accept me...or i'll be all alone."

"Fine Luck, do what you want. And i'll do whatever want!!!!"

Just as Lotus tries to strike Luck with his magic, Asta jumped in front of him and used his sword to slice Lotus' magic apart. When he lands in front of Luck, he only said one thing.

"I won't leave you alone. I don't care what you think about of me, do what you want! I've already acknowledged you as my....as our friend!!!! Heck, Kyoya's fighting his hardest just so we were able to come here and help you! So let's fight together and beat this guy, so we can go back to Kyoya!!!!"

Luck's eyes became wide when he heard what Asta said. As Asta's words kept repeating themselves in his head, Luck remembered something. Something that Kyoya told him long ago.

~Flashback~
Luck was outside of the hideout as he was searching for someone to fight. As he walks around, he saw Kyoya standing alone as the ice mage looked exhausted.

"Hey Kyoya, fight me! Come on let's go."

Luck challenged Kyoya, but he was confused when he didn't get a response from him. Soon Kyoya decided to speak up for a moment.

"Luck....do you think you're strong?"

"Of course. After all, i'm pretty tough. Besides, my power is made for winning so I have to be powerful."

"I see. Is that how you view your magic or are you just imitating someone else's view of your magic?"

Soon Kyoya was walking away from Luck. Seeing this, Luck quickly dashed at Kyoya. As he tries to kick him, Kyoya grabbed Luck's leg. When Luck looked at Kyoya, he saw a different side of the ice mage.

"Ignoring what you have now just because of what you didn't have then......you really are an idiot."

Soon Kyoya let's go of Luck's leg as he walks back into the hideout. As he did, he said one last thing to his squad mate.

"Sadness is just another wall that blocks you from moving on. I know it's hard to get past it, but you got to break through."

~Flashback ends~
"Was this what Kyoya was trying to tell me? That I have people I can rely on?"

Luck slowly stands up as he walked towards Noelle and Asta. When he did, he smiled as he lifts his head up towards them.

"You're right....let's beat this guy so we can make it back to Kyoya!"

Noelle and Asta were surprised to see Luck being so cooperative. As the two of them smiled back at Luck, the lightning mage looked towards Lotus as he thought to himself.

"Sorry mom....but i'm not alone. Also, i'm sorry Kyoya....for taking so long to realize something so simple. So until me and the others beat this guy.....until I can finally fight against you someday.....PLEASE DON'T DIE!!!!!!"
