"Asta?! Kyoya?!"

Yuno was surprised to see his two rivals suddenly appearing before him. While he was in shock, the other captains thought of Nacht as an intruder and were prepared to attack. However, Nacht still had a smile on his face as this happened.

"I believe i'm qualified to be in this meeting as well."

As Nacht said this, the captains found themselves being restrained by four masked beasts before they could attack Nacht. Soon Julius began to speak up during this situation.

"He's a vice captain. He belongs to the Black Bulls. He's been in the Spade Kingdom, spying. Although I didn't know he was a devil host either."

"Now then, we're short on time so i'd like to get on the main topic. As you're aware, the Spade Kingdom intends to open a gate to the underworld. To that end, preparations for the ritual of the Advent of Qliphoth are no doubt underway at Spade Castle. Yami and Vangeance will serve as the core of that ritual as sacrificial offerings."

Asta, Kyoya, and Yuno had a serious look on their faces. However, Asta noticed that Kyoya and Yuno seemed to be even more agitated. Soon they all listened to what Nacht had to say next.

"From this point on, over seven days, the Advent of Qliphoth will begin. Seven levels. Seven gates will open, gradually. Inside are ten devils matched to Qliphoth, in separate locations. The deeper the level, the stronger the devil. The upper devils are the equal of the Dark Triad. The lower ones are even more powerful. Not to mention that if the final devil, Lucifero, emerges then the world is finished. As the catalysts for the advent, Yami and Julius will die. Conversely, until all the gates are fully opened, they'll still be alive."

"Why would the Dark Triad do this?!"

"They don't have a reason that we'd understand."

Soon everyone's attention turned towards Kyoya. As he looked at them, Nacht noticed the boy's grimoire glowing with dark mana. Soon the boy began to explain himself.

"As magic knights, we've seen a lot of scum who hurt others without a second thought for their own sick desires. Who feel no sense of guilt as long as it benefits them."

As Kyoya said this, he clenched his fists in anger as he remembered someone just like that. He remembered when Byakuran caused so much chaos for his own desires which resulted in Wendy's death. People like him make Kyoya sick to his core.

"The Dark Triad are paragons of those type of people. I don't give a damn about what they're thinking nor do I want to understand. I hate people like them the most. Even if god and the devils forgive them, I never will."

"Heh. I couldn't have said it better myself, Kyoya Fullbuster. That said, I can't beat the Dark Triad. I know my limits. I can do my best, but no more. That's why...."

Soon Nacht puts both of his hands on Kyoya and Asta's shoulders. As he looked at the captains, an arrogant smile was on his face as he looked at all of them.

"...i'll make these two our ultimate warriors. Anti-Magic holds that potential and Devil Slayer Magic is perfect against who we're facing. Three days from now, the gate to the underworld will open. Before it does, we'll retrieve Yami and Vangeance and destroy the Tree of Qliphoth. To that end, we'll build a small elite team around Asta and Kyoya made up of people with potential to beat a devil and mount an assault on the Spade Kingdom. This time, it's our turn to strike."

Everyone was silent as they had no need to argue against Nacht. This plan was the only one they had and it's better than doing nothing. Seeing the expressions on their faces, Nacht nods his head.

"With my magic we can infiltrate the inner part of the kingdom undetected and we will strike the Dark Triad and defeat them one by one. Dante, wielder of Body Magic and Gravity Magic. Vanica, wielder of Blood Magic and Curse Warding Magic. Finally, Zenon, the wielder of Bone Magic and Spatial Magic. But with my magic, I can't take a lot of people. We need to choose people with the highest possibility to beat them."

"Kek, it's obvious. We should choose the captains fir-"

"Bring me with you. I know I am being shameless, but please....bring me with you...."

Before Jack could finish his sentence, Yuno spoke up. Though Jack was annoyed at Yuno's persistence considering he already went up against Zenon and lost to him.

"Huh?! You're a fool, aren't you? There's no point in sending a person who's already lost."

"I'd like to ask you something, Yuno."

As Yuno looked towards Nacht, he saw the man's smile was still on his face. Yet, he could tell that there was something behind his smile. Soon Nacht began to question Yuno.

"There is a resistance going against the Dark Triad in the Spade Kingdom. A few days ago, one of them came to the Clover Kingdom secretly. You're protecting him, right? What's your real identity, huh?"

"......I guess I am a prince of Spade Kingdom."

"EEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

As Yuno answered Nacht's question, Asta was surprised by this information. Meanwhile, Kyoya remembered how his own father was part of the Royal Guard for the original royal family in Spade Kingdom.

"Wait.....did dad know about this? He had to, right?"

"The person that came to me is the former Spade Kingdom's valet.  He probably knows well about the info or the inner parts of the castle."

"Kek! That's even more reason for me to not let you go! That valet could be a spy of the enemy! Or maybe there's a possibility that you are the sp-"

"Will you shut the hell up you goddamn beanpole."

Everyone was silent as they all looked at Kyoya. He had an extremely annoyed expression on his face. As he looked at Jack, he began to speak his opinion.

"If you want someone to stay out how about me? I'm from the Spade Kingdom too, dumbass. Besides, if Yuno was a spy, he wouldn't have risked his life fighting the Dark Triad. So next time you try to accuse someone, have some evidence to back up your claim, otherwise you'll look like a bigger dumbass than you already are. Besides, now isn't the time to argue. If you can't even see that then you don't even deserve the title of captain. Now then, got anything else to say? "

Everyone was silent after Kyoya's claim. Soon Yuno looked towards Kyoya and he smiled. But he was serious about wanting to go. Ever since the elf incident, people have had mistrust against him and Captain Vangeance. He's going to prove his Captain, who protected him and the remaining Golden Dawn members, is  right. That the Golden Dawn is the strongest Magic Knight squad. Seeing this, Nacht began to chuckle a bit.

"Heh. Okay, I don't hate a person like you. So the time we'll depart for the Spade Kingdom will be the morning after two days. I'll tell you the further operation plans later. Let's defeat the Dark Triad and save the two captains."

~In the Sanctuary~
Inside of the Sanctuary, Echidna was drinking her tea. As she puts down her cup, she had a serious expression on her face. When she looked up to the sky, she said one thing to herself.

"It seems the time has come for Kyoya to come to me to gain enough power to triumph his next obstacle. It's time Kyoya Fullbuster......for your final trial. You'll need it, because a threat possibly even bigger is slowly starting to awaken."

~Meanwhile~
A single being could be seen sleeping inside of a mountain. As it slept, multiple dragon carcasses were seen around it. There was nothing but silence in the air, but one thing was certain. This beast will awaken and when it does, all hell will break loose.
