Sunny's POV
I get to school and go to my locker. Someone slams on my locker. "Hey, Flower Boy." Zeke, my bully, says. "Leave me alone..." I mumble. "What was that Flower Boy?!" Zeke asks. "N-nothing." I say as I look away from his eyes. If there's one thing I've learned from getting bullied Is not to look them in the eye. "Well, Flower Boy. I'll let you go. But we won't forgot your weakly beating." Zeke says as he puts his bag over his shoulder. Then walks away. I open my locker and grab my stuff. Then I go to my class.

-Time skip to lunch-

I go outside and eat my lunch. Then I see Zeke. He walks towards me and throws my food across the ground. "Ready for your beating?" Zeke asks as he cracked his knuckles. He punched me across the face. He also has a ring on his fist so that made it worse. I fell onto the floor and feel my cheek. There was a cut, and it was bleeding. Zeke punched me again and again. He finally stopped and grinned. "Punching bag." He says as he walks off. I sit on the bench and cry.

Fauna POV
I saw him.

Sunny.

Crying.

I run up to him quickly and panic quietly. "S-sunny?" I ask. "Go away..." he says as he sobs. "S-sunny.. its Fauna.." I say. He looks up slowly. He has a black and blue eye. "Fauna...?" He asks. I nod. "What happened? Who did this to you?" I ask as I sit down with him. "Zeke.... I get.. bullied..." he says as he sobs quietly. I look around and see a muscular guy with black hair and wearing a white t-shirt. "Is that him?" I ask as I gesture towards him. Sunny nods. "Be right back." I say as I get up. I walk over to him and tap his shoulder. "What do you want, Furry." He says sternly. I grab him by the collar of his t-shirt and pull his head down to me. "If you touch Sunny again. Well let's just say... your gonna have a BAD TIME." I growl. He sweats nervously and nods. I let him go and walk over to Sunny. I hug him tightly. "It's gonna be okay." I whisper as I pet his hair. He hugs me back. Then looks up. I use my thumbs to wipe his tears. "Better?" I ask him. He nods. "Can we stay like this... a little longer." He asks. "Sure." I say as I keep hugging him.

-Five minutes Later-

I sigh. "Sunny. I have to go. I'll talk to you later." I say. "Okay.." he sighs, "thanks Fauna." "No problem." I say as I walk into the woods becoming a wolf. I run back into the woods and cover the seventh with some dirt. Then I run back to my mom.

-NEXT DAY-

Sunny's POV
I go to school with my black eye, and cut on my cheek. Surprisingly Zeke didn't come to my locker like he usually does. I wasn't complaining. It's just... unusual. I push it to the back of my mind and head to class.

-skip to lunch-

I walk outside with my lunch and see Fauna sitting on the bench I sat on yesterday. I walk over to her and sit down. "Is your eye okay?" Fauna asks. "Y-yeah..." I say as I start to blush. Fauna stares for a second. "You blush green?" She asks. I nod. "That's cool." She says. I open my lunch box and pull out a sandwich. "What's that?" She asks. "A sandwich. You haven't had one before?" I ask. She shook her head. I usually eat crows and other small animals." She says. "Okay... want a piece?" I ask her. "Sure." She says. I tear a small piece of my sandwich and give it to her. She takes a bite. "Wow, that's good." She says as she takes another bite. "I can bring you one tomorrow if you want." I say, then take a bite of my sandwich. "Really? Thanks!" Fauna says with a smile.

Her smile is so cute.

"Thanks." Fauna says. "I.. um... didn't say anything." I say. "You didn't? I swear someone just said "her smile is perfect."" Fauna says as she tilts her head. I'm shocked. "F-Fauna... you just read my mind..." I say. "What?" She asks. "Y-yeah... you did..." I say again. "Oh... maybe we can talk like that... if you're bored... or I can't come..." she says. "What do you mean can't come?" I ask. "Well... I'm not supposed to be around humans... " she says as her ears flatten. "Really? Why?" I ask. "I don't know. Something about people want to do tests on us." She says with a sigh. "Why don't you hide your ears and tail? You can wear a hat and hide your tail in yours shirt or in a pants leg." I say. "But where am I going to get a hat?" I ask. "I have one, I'll bring it tomorrow, okay? You can have it." I say. "Really?" She asks. "Yeah." I say. She hugs me. "Thank you!" She says happily. I blush, and hug her back. She let's go and so do I. "I need to go. See you tomorrow?" She asks. "See you tomorrow." I say. She smiles and runs into the woods like she always does.
